Air Transat treated us to a very good flight. Flying economy for hours is never the most pleasant of experiences but the return flight was a pleasure. The Airbus plane appeared to be practically new - very clean and comfortable. The flight crew was a nice mix of experienced and fresh - I heard one crew member welcoming her colleague to her first flight. They were cheerful, helpful and gracious. I was able to move to a center row of three empty seats and stretch out to my hearts content and my partner then had two seats for her comfort. We expected a budget flight with no service but instead were offered drinks, a sandwich and a snack. One of the best international flights I can remember.

The usual stuff - reclining seats really squeeze your space, fussy babies that after fifteen minutes you wish would just go to sleep...

Great entertainment but preferred the selection from Montreal to Paris.

Needed more leg room for such long flight. Especially if you get the aisle seat space under seat is very small in comparison to middle seat space.

The food was catastrophic, just mush.

Nothing

All the hidden charges. My good deal turned out to be worst deal EVER. I paid extra for my my seat and got bump from my seat to a middle seat. Icelandair attitude suck about the whole thing too and could careless too. After this I don't even want to go to Iceland or have the Kayak app on my phone. Kayak and Icelandair, will do everything to let everyone know how miserable you made my vacation.

Great planes. Great air crew. Great ground staff. Seats are large and comfortable. Crew does a great job of making sure you have what you need. Extremely attentive and professional. Gate agents are friendly and knowledgeable. They work hard to solve any problems you have - even if you're not and Iceland Air customer. I can't say enough good things about them. You can't go wrong flying Iceland Air.

The flight was comfortable and the cabin crew attentive. The 7-hour flight time can't be beat. Free checked bag. On this occasion, the boarding in Reykjavik was through a jetway so you weren't exposed to the weather, though that's not always true.

Even using a jetway, boarding in Reykjavik is ridiculous, with inadequate seating and lots of standing around in confusing lines. They had four US/Canada flights leaving within 10 minutes, with the gates 10 feet apart and about 600 passengers jammed in four lines running through the concourse.

The crew was friendly and efficient, and made all the difference.

Since we booked online, we were told that we couldn’t pre-book our seats for this flight. So even though we arrived more than three hours ahead, we couldn’t sit together for this nine hour flight. After having the same thing happen on the way to Barcelona, it was really disappointing.

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in CAD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
