Both flights were delayed going to our destination and leaving, and communication about the delays was not great by the airlines, now the crews were phenomenal and great to be around!!
Delayed. It's not our first flight with them either, it's actually our 3rd and all 3 were delayed by hours each time. It was a myriad of delays. On one flight we boarded after being delayed for a little over an hr, only to be told we were going to sit in the plane for another hour before departing. Once landed, we waited another 40ish min to get to our gate. On another flight, flight was delayed just under 3 hrs but atleast we got to wait it out at the airport terminal. Its just a bad experience overall flying with Alaska Airlines.
We had to take the train to our next gate but had time to eat a meal. When to our next gate and asked employee about gate and got informed that gate had been changed so back on train to next gate. So thankful she was there and informed us of gate change. Because of the issue the boarding was slow but employees were there and busy helping all and keeping it organized.
Very pleasant and the flight felt like it went by quick
All flight entertainment is from your own device and there was an $8 charge to connect. also 1 drink and a small bag of pretzels was all that was given to us. other that that the seats were good and the flight itself was as expected.
It is very bad they do not give you money back
They lost our bag and it took them days to find it. Terrible communication and lots of lies about where it was. Their system hasn’t merged with Hawaiian yet they route people on shared flights with Hawaiian, creating an administrative nightmare.
Major flight delays, it was a 1.5-hour delay. The gate kept changing about 3 times in Seattle. very hectic and chaotic.
More leg room in back seats. Can you require people to smell good on planes? ha ha Staff was great! Plane was comfortable. I enjoyed the movies and TV. Smooth take off and landing.
The only problem was the time delay. Kudos to the counter agent in Seattle. Very helpful and gracious.
The flight was scheduled for 2:30 PM. Early in the morning we got a text message saying the flight was delayed and rescheduled for 3:00 PM. We got to the airport with that in mind. Then we got a message during check-in at the flight was rescheduled again for 2:30 PM. We almost missed our flight. In fact, our bags Were told that they would not make it. At the end, everything worked out. But it is very stressful.
Most aspects were good however if they assign boarding zones they ought to enforce them or why bother? My luggage from SAN-JFK-MAD was lost in NY so I without my main bag for two days upon arrival in Spain. They were helpful in tracking it and eventually delivered it to my hotel. The flub was because of a delay upon arrival in NYC. I had booked 2 1/2 hours between flights but we had to hold on the taxiway for an hour after landing while waiting for a clear gate which likely caused the baggage error.
Excellent check-in. Crew was good. Excellent communication from flight deck.
Great overall. There was a bit of turbulence so they could only serve water because too much turbulence for the carts. Was glad they prioritized safety though

Flight was delayed long enough that I was misding my connecting flight. The agents could not get me on a comparable flight, nor could they get me s Main Cabin seat I had paid for, nor could they get me on a comparable connecting flight. The gate agent would not issue meal vouchers, even though I was delayed over six hours! I had to spend over an hour and 15 minutes with customer service on the phone to See if they could get me on a better flight and get a meal voucher. Customer service was not helpful enough in trying to find alternate flights and it Ended up taking me 24 hours for a 12 hour trip!! Delta does not provide upgrades NOR will they even give you a pass for a few hours to their lounge. They claim that they do not issue daily passes to their lounge anymore. I call BS since this would be no extra cost to them to provide excellent customer service and give you a few hours to relax in comfort when you’re sitting in a crowded airport and your flight has been screwed up for that many hours.
Great service. Flight was delayed while we sat on the runway for a couple of hours. Weather related. Staff made is very bearable. The steward servicing the first class cabin was exceptional. Thank you! 💗
5 hours of delay that could've been much shorter if Delta had taken the 1 hour delay they imposed on the flight before boarding to run any of the plane checks required for flight to find the hydraulic issue that required nearly 3 hours to fix. $24 of meal credit buys a sandwich and a soft drink. Poor communication within the terminal about what gate we'd be re-boarding from and when we'd be re-boarding.
Amazing flight! I have never noticed the uniforms of the attendants before in twenty years of flying except today when one female had the most amazing dress on. It was beautifully designed and showed she was in charge. I never dreamed I would google who designed Delta uniforms . The ultimate compliment is when another woman admires your outfit. . I hope your designer puts it on the market
It would be nice if was given wires ear buds. Overall was a good experience was able to sleep on the plane
The ticket and bag check in was chaotic at SEATAC. No clear communication or signage for bag drop off.
Very nice experience. The boarding however seemed somewhat mixed up, and we were delayed taking off.
It was very pleasant. The staff and crew are very polite.

Customer service by Susan of Alaskan Air was outstanding. We missed our flight out of JFK. She got us rebooked the following day. Way to go Susan.
I got bounced around between Hawaiian and Alaska. I was never able to check in online. One we got on the plane, there was on in flight WiFi. I found poop on the toilet seats as well
I appreciate that the flight was delayed so that we didn’t miss the connection. The flight was crowded and the seats uncomfortable for a long flight.
Bar code for checking luggage and boarding pass didn't work. Had to stand in long customer service line. Passengers at Oahu should be aware the Terminal for Hawaiian Air requires travel by shuttle. Budget an extra 20-30 minutes to get from the main terminal to the remote terminal.
Hawaiian and Alaska are at opposite ends of the Seattle airport. Apparently, during this time of transition through their merger, only people flying to Hawaii should go to the Hawaiian desk. So, I had to carry my luggage the entire length of the airport. Alaska's desks were sort of a temporary set up behind a wall, and even after all this, they (Alaska) had a great deal of difficulty confirming that I was on the flight, or that I had paid my checked bag fee. Now, they did try to compensate for all this confusion. There was an impressive number of agents, actively engaging and working with customers - not just standing behind the counter, but going out to them with pads in hand. It took some time, but I was squared away, and was apparently upgraded to a business class seat with lots of legroom (much appreciated). I was told this transition would last till August.
Checking baggage at Honolulu was a real mess. No signs directing where to go.
