Cons: Checking in took forever, as did boarding, so we left ten minutes late. No big deal. However, the flight was hot. The air coming from the nozzles was warm and light. I spoke to a flight attendant and agreed it was hot, but all she could do was bring me water.

Pros: The night skyline from above as you fly into LAX is simply awe inspiring with the miles and miles of lights everywhere you look. Quick flight and no hassles.

Pros: The in flight attendants were very helpful and attentive. Boarding was quick and organized.

Cons: The entertainment system didn’t work well to start, and then stopped working altogether 2 hours into a 5hr flight. The staff tried to fix it and were very apologetic, which made up for it. The seats were a little too hard for me. I was pretty sore by the end of the trip.

However, when my confirmation email and e-ticket came in, they were issued by Budgetair.com. I had no experience with them and took it to be a reliable website since they were working with Kayak. However, I had to change/cancel my flight because of delayed passport delivery, and this is when everything turned very Ugly! I had to spend an hour over the phone to get connected to an agent with BudgetAir, who disconnected the line within 2 minutes saying: “please hold so I can pull up your information”. This game went on for 6 hours. I tried to connect with the airline directly to make the change, which was not possible since Budgetair had placed a restriction on this ticket. After 6-7 hours, which meant no work for me or lunch because I was sitting behind my desk with a phone on my hand, I got through an agent who was rude and impolite. He took 15 minutes to find flights for the new dates (I did it in 2 minutes on their website), and then told me to pay $315 in extra fess. When I inquired that the prices on your website for the exact same ticket is way cheaper than my original ticket price, he got angry and aggressive. Basically implying that I have no choice to take their offer as is, or let go of my original ticket price of over $2000. Long story short, DO NOT buy from BudgetAir if you like having a peace of mind!

Pros: So now we check in on line. Check in at Terminal 2 Then at the gate the West Jet staff do repeats calls asking for people to check in. The shuttle from Terminal 2 to 3 seems unnecessary, especially with the set of stairs to bus shuttle. A bit dangerous to line up on stairs especially for the elderly managing bags etc. Lower price on checked bags and you will not have to do repeated call out for volunteers.

Cons: Passengers checking luggage are better off waiting in the economy line - it moved much faster than the business class line.

Good 7.6

Pros: Generally flight attendant was nice and efficient. Excellent service and

Cons: Food was poor quality. Sometimes water taste like bad tap water. There are very nice crews but some of them are not. Some flight attendant bumped my knee a little when she passed by but didn’t care or noticed.

LAX

Excellent 10.0

Pros: So now we check in on line. Check in at Terminal 2 Then at the gate the West Jet staff do repeats calls asking for people to check in. The shuttle from Terminal 2 to 3 seems unnecessary, especially with the set of stairs to bus shuttle. A bit dangerous to line up on stairs especially for the elderly managing bags etc. Lower price on checked bags and you will not have to do repeated call out for volunteers.

Okay 4.6

Cons: When tavelling with a child, which is always identified at the time of booking by providing child's age, every other airline was able to accommodate seating together. Even at the lowest fare class. Not Westjet, their automatic computer seating assignment gave us seats in separate rows !! When asked at the checkin and also again at the gate, we were told that the fare class that we paid for does not allow seat changes. They simply would not seat a parent and a child together unless we paid extra $25/person to change seats. This kind of gauging for money was shocking. Especially when there were 3 other rows behind us with free seats together !! This was clearly a case of wanting more money. At the lowest fare class parents travelling with children can expect the child to be sitting separately from them. Or pay up more.

LAX
Good 7.0

Pros: The night skyline from above as you fly into LAX is simply awe inspiring with the miles and miles of lights everywhere you look. Quick flight and no hassles.

Cons: The 3 rows of clubs seats ahead me were catered to quite well, but maybe a current dividing that and economy is necessary so you don’t feel so 2nd class.

Okay 5.6

Pros: The crew was friendly and courteous. The trips were on schedule.

Cons: The food selection was poor and they were out of my first choice from that limited selection. Also, it seemed pricey for what it was. I was disappointed to find no crossword or sudoku puzzles in their magazine.

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in CAD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
