Cons: "My flight was late arriving in Toronto no fault of mine then the aircanada security took over an hour to get through then they had been paging me and were rude when I finally made it to the plane again not my fault. Did not deserve the attitude!!!"
Pros: "Quick flight. Dlient Service in check-in was excellent, she went the extra mile to change my return flight to a more reasonable time."
Cons: "The fact I was delayed 2 hours. Missed my connection. Spoke with customer care about getting a flight out of Toronto the next morning because of connection issues instead of late that evening."
Pros: "Crew was friendly and helpful on a very full airplane. They did their best to check on connections to let us know if we were going to miss our flights or not."
Cons: "Flight was delayed nearly an hour causing a very tight connection in Calgary."
Cons: "AC was late causing a missed connection to YXE. They were unable to rebook us to Saskatoon for two or three days! They offered standby or Edmonton as our only options. We flew to Edmontonand then drove 6 hours in order to get home for work with no sleep. Unimpressed."
Pros: "We arrived alive."
Cons: "The water lines on the plane froze. The flights were delayed, but the staff still made us que up and stand in line for two hours."
Pros: "Many airlines have code share flights but it is better to buy ticket directly from the original airline as they keep on ignoring the code share flight bookings"
Cons: "Till last moment we were kept hanging if we will board or not as no seat number was allocated. I believe it was as we were from the code share airline not the real one"
Pros: "I was able to change my flight to an earlier one saving me from having to wait 6 hours. I did not have to pay extra for changing my flight."

Cons: "No video screens for entertainment. If you want to use in flight entertainment, you need to download the Air Canada app prior to boarding."
Pros: "What did I like? Not much. We kept hearing over the PA about how Air Canada had been voted Number One airline in North America in 2017 but I was blowed if I could work out why. I have travelled quite a bit both Stateside and overseas and can tell you that AC does not come up to the standard set by Qantas or Southwest here in the States."
Cons: "It felt as if the seats were even closer together than on the flight out. It was tight! It was the second leg of a flight from Taiwan and having experienced the extraordinary politeness and courtesy of the Taiwanese it came as a rude shock when the hefty AC (female) attendant banged the back of my seat, exhorting us with a "Would you guys get your seat backs up straight for meal service". The tea was pretty grim too and I suspected it had been made in a coffee pot."

Cons: "The flight kept getting delayed bc of mechanical problems, and then eventually cancelled. They got the majority of people on a new plane, but the gates kept getting changed so it was a lot of back and forth. Plus the pretzels they gave us were stale. This was the second of two flights I took this trip that had mechanical issues, so they obviously need to fix their planes better or get new ones, because two Air Canada flights in one day that have mechanical problems leaves me worried that the planes aren't in optimal condition. It took me over 24 hours to get from Tucson, AZ to Montreal, Canada when normal travel takes less than 8 hours including layovers. I am worried about my return flights, not gonna lie (for my safety and time). Thankfully I'm returning a couple of days before I return to work, but I know other people that travel for business and that is a huge inconvenience."

Cons: "I didn't like the change in gate at Edmonton to Vancouver. No one told us until boarding time. Even tho there was ample time to get there since it was the next door gate, I was in a wheelchair and if it had been any further, it could've been a disaster. We arrived right on time. I'd go Air Canada again."
Cons: "Kayak did not allow us to reserve seats, and the seats we received were not together, even though we purchased the seats six months in advance. My seat was at the front facing rear wards, with a non-tilting seat and little foot room."

Cons: "there was no check in luggage with the ticket, I have to pay for both my check in luggage while flying back from Toronto to Saskatoon. Atleast one check in luggage should be there."

Cons: "On my departure flight from Vancouver to Isaka it was cancelled. They created a new flight for us the next morning but nobody from AC staff knew about it until very late. AC information desk said that AC counter in airport opened normally at 7:45 am but our departure flight was scheduled for 8:30 and we were at airport at 5a. It was utter confusion by AC"
Cons: "Air Canada has to know that generally, the flight from Toronto to LA would be bumpy. Even if they did not know, the weather forecast can tell them that. Problem is that they always SELL the food first, before serving the customers the much needed drinks for hydration. That is a pathetic service attitude. "We will sell first, and only if time left, we will serve free drinks." That stinks!! I even saw them some kids, who wanted to get to their seat (from bathroom trip), sending to wait near bathroom because the food cart they were selling from was in the way. This kind of customer hostility to kids is unforeseen."

Cons: "The system from the beginning was so unorganised ...went 2 hrs earlier even after online check in and it said u need to be there just an hour ..still had to run till the end.. Seat was so uncomfortable ..to add to the agony my luggage didn't arrive and had to wait till evening"
Cons: "Video screen was not working both times. And was charged for check in bag. $25. I didnt get it why i was charged even after paying $510 for a flight. I did web checking for inbound flight n had to pay $25 again. Not happy with that at all."

Cons: "Our first flight was cancelled 15 minutes before scheduled take-off. upon being bumped to another flight two hours later, that flight was delayed two hours after an issue during take-off. We remained on the plane while mechanic/engineering staff rectified the problem. We booked a flight to save time on driving. We would have arrived earlier had we drove. I understand things happen, but the airline eneds to take responsibility and show some good customer service. Aside from the pilot, no apology given, no reimbursement offered. Disappinting. Air Canada is now a last-resort option for a frequent flyer like myself."

Cons: "Our 6:30am flight was cancelled without any notice, no phone call, no email to tell us. Took over an hour to get through on the phone to see if we could reschedule to the next available flight"
Pros: "The staff were friendly and helpful, and the flight was uneventful (which is good). Some of the staff went way over and above their function to make up for the chaos."
Cons: "My mother had booked a dairy-free meal and wheelchair assistance. The meal was booked on the flight to London, but the booking didn't carry through to the return. The wheelchair assistance was provided, but there were only three agents booked to manage 12 wheelchair passengers. They tried their hardest, but we still ended up missing our connecting flight. If the crew and agents hadn't been wonderful, it could have been a stressful trip!"
Cons: "The engine was making an unusually loud whirring sound. Felt concerned that the plane was not fit to fly."

Cons: "Boarding area was a nightmare - hot , miles and miles of walking to get there, and crowded. The system for check-in is the stupidest i have ever seen - we were asked to scan passports and boarding passes then stand in a crowded area to wait for names to come up on an electronic board that could only be read from the front of the room. Who thought of that????"

Cons: "I was freezing - I was told the blankets where for medical use. Meanwhile they were giving them away. When we were about to land they gave me a blanket. Horrible."
Pros: "The Boeing airplane was either new or upgraded with plenty of in flight entertainment. In addition it was clean and fresh. The seats seemed to have more legroom than some I have flown. I could actually use my notebook on the tray stand. I was traveling on the same plane with my wife but we could only get separate seats. I decided to ask before boarding if they could put us together for such a long flight and they took my boarding pass and actually tried. The lady I checked in with was extremely gracious. She passed our info along to the head attendant on the flight who came and found us and told us she had found seats together. We had already done some seat switching with the kind people around us and managed to get together. The head attendant was happy for us."
Cons: "Long flight, when we got close to Tel Aviv, a guy attendant who wasn't on my side yelled at me from the other ailse and scolded me for not being locked in 30 minutes ahead of time and threatened to write me up. He was red faced. The head flight attendant made a call over the intercom, I jumped up and started stowing my computer and he comes by 30 seconds later and literally yelled across the plane. He must have had to clean a bathroom up that someone let loose in. I looked on the flight time register on the screen when I was locked in and we were 35 minutes out. Not quite a rule breaker was I."
Cons: "first flight cancelled, second flight delayed so impossible to get the connection. Nobody called me about it, I had to go to ask."
