Pros: "Very old aircraft. Looked extremely run down and many things were broken."

Cons: "Business class on the 3.5 hour flight was just blocking the middle seat in the front of the plane. No leg room, narrow seats. My husband is 6’4”” with wide shoulders. His legs do not fit and therefore extend into the aisle. Flight attendants were constantly bumping into his shoulders. Very cramped We were not aware of this configuration."

I purchased my one friend an exit row seat in main cabin for $75 but BA gave it to someone else. Cons: "Background info: we flew from Dublin to Toronto (Aer Lingus) and we were supposed to fly Toronto to Los Angeles on American Airlines; however, we had a British Airways flight number for both of these flights. We missed our connecting flight in Toronto with American Airlines (we had a 2 hour layover) despite landing on-time (de-boarded a few minutes late). I suggest avoiding the Toronto airport ALWAYS as every passenger must pick up his/her luggage even if you have a connecting flight, and then re-check the baggage with the next flight. Apparently the baggage handlers were on strike and some of the customs agents as well which added to the delays. Well, after going through Canadian customs and picking up our luggage (which took quite awhile) we arrived at the American Airlines ticketing kiosk about 45 minutes before our flight. The computer told us we were too late for this flight and to see a representative. We proceeded to wait in line for an American Airlines representative only to be told this was Aer Lingus' fault (we had just flown with them); even though we had a BA flight number.. After searching for an Aer Lingus representative we were finally told they were probably all on the Aer Lingus flight that was currently about to leave. An Aer Lingus representative was paged to the ticketing counter (took well over 30 minutes for anyone to show up) and what proceeded was an argument (for well over an hour) between British Airways and Aer Lingus representatives about whose responsibility it was to re-book us. After an hour at least of poor customer service, we were finally rebooked by British Airways on the last flight to LAX (on Air Canada). Moral of the story: avoid Toronto and fly direct."

They ran out of sandwiches/fruit and cheese plates by the first few rows in the main cabin. No earbuds available for those who needed them. Cramped seating. This flight was with BA partner American Airlines"

I had work and responsabilities the next day. TThe scheduled trip was supposed to take off at 7:45. Boarding started late and was very slow. My bag fit the meassurements and still was forced to check it (which I did not want to do as I did not want to be waiting an hour for my bag at my arrival as I had work early the next day. In addition there was airplaine traffic as it was "rush hour" instead of flying at 7:45 we departed almost at 9pm!!!! Have to pay for food Quality of tv monitors very poor And in an uncomfortable position No movie options No wifi although stated the aircraft has Non functioning electrical plug"

My fight from San Juan to Miami on Friday Oct. 7 was cancelled because of hurricane Matthews, since I didnot buy a roundtrip with AA they did not reimburse or offer me a credit for my returning flight. I contacted AA in two ocassions and both times their personnel were impersonal and even rude to me with the whole situation. I ended up losing $250 because of choosing American Airlines. I will do my best to avoid traveling with American ever again, and I will spread the word, as well. I felt robbed, so unfair."

The female crew members, a dark haired woman and a short blond haired woman both would have ignored me if the other two people seated by me did not also try to get their attention. The dark haired woman gave the guy next to me headphones and when I held out my hand she just looked at me and walked away as if she'd been called away. Which she hadn't she came back and started with the row immediately behind us and the guy next to me was nice enough to give me his. Also after nearly waiting 4 hours, 9 minutes before boarding we were given food vouchers and told to "run and hurry" and get food "to go" so most people didn't even bother using the vouchers because of that. I've had better flights with American Airlines, I just didn't know this one would be so poor. Definitely way below average expectations."

Cons: "In Toronto, I waited in line at the AA ticket counter. By the time I got to the counter it was a few minutes after the "one hour before flight cut off". I was there in time! I had to give the ticket agent my credit card and she charged my card 400.48! The AA agent was mean and very unprofessional. She told me I had three minutes to make a decision or be stuck in Toronto until the next day. My flight was delayed and I would have made it with no problem. I even have Global Entry! My original flight to Miami was non-stop, instead I had to take a flight that connected in Miami. That flight was two hours late! This was the worst experience I ever had!"

With passengers waiting in the aisle to get their seats, I had a second to decide what to take out of my one carry-on before putting it in the overhead bin, and as a result, was without some necessities during the flight. Pearson is a problem. Flights from everywhere were backed up behind a single person operating in security, and hardly any AC personnel there could speak English clearly. The confusion & wait time pretty distressing to most people in line. I had 4 hours to the next flight so wasn't worried, but waited 1 hour in line in the airport hallway before getting in to present information to security. Situation at airport is not good at all. I'd try to avoid Pearson as a transit point if I could, in the future. The music channels were so distorted I couldn't listen to any of the offerings. Too bad about that, but it didn't ruin the flight. Arrival in Zurich was on time and easy."

The staff sat in the back gossiping the entire time and looked offended every time I came to ask a question or ask for something - they would get silent and just sit there, like I was interrupting an important conversation and so I even offered to get my own stuff. Ridiculous! What happened to customer service? The food is HORRIBLE! Worst food I have ever had on a flight, and I flew to 8 countries this last year, so that says a lot. I'd recommend only eating food you bring, or just starving yourself."

Cons: "all my food were not covered when hostess delivered the tray, salad was missing, apparently it fell into the trolley while she pulled the tray out. and then i couldn't eat it because it was frozen. food quality was just really bad; whenever the crew passed by they were speaking really loud like to the other side of the valley, probably not necessary; the seat itself has a fancy look but the cushion is not comfortable at all, couldn't really rest one's head on it as it would just keep sliding sidewards . another thing that the airline can't really help- baby crying & screaming all the time and playing toys with music, couldn't get any sleep at all... perhaps a "kids zone" like trains have would be good for planes.. ?"

Cons: "Of all the international airlines I have flown, this was by far the least well equipped for a long haul flight. There was no entertainment (we had to download an app to your personal device beforehand, which we were not informed about until already onboard). There were iPads for rent, but not nearly enough for the number of passengers requesting. The dinner was a good size, but there were no additional snacks, only small sized drinks offered, and alcohol was not complimentary, and a smaller size than what's provided while in N America for the same price. Overall, I was quite unimpressed with Air Canada, and will avoid flying with them in the future, when possible."

When requesting extra water and coffee we were directed to the rear of the plane to get our own refills. Toilet not clean paper empty. Crew on long, raucous break. Finally crew seen taking coffee pots into lavatory. What on earth? There was a distinct lack of engagement from the crew, in general with passengers , not just my husband and myself."

Cons: "The crew was rude, the seat couldn't lean back and I couldn't sleep for the entire duration of the trip, the food was awful and a small amount for such a long trip."

They then stowed carry-on luggage below, so passengers lost access to any entertainment in their carry-on. There was no entertainment on board."

We also left a travel folder in the seat back pocket containing important documents and a sealed envelope of 1000$ USD. We immediately called to retrieve it and at first were told to file a complaint online, no matter how many times we tried to tell them that time was of the essence in this situation. We also begged the united airlines personnel to speak with a manager and he wouldn't put one on the phone. In the end all they could tell us is that the folder "wasn't there""
