A long international flight and not even a snack? Really? One drink in five hours? Really?
I will always try to avoid Montreal Airport in the future.
This was my first flight with Air Canada. In the future, I will avoid flying them an avoid flying hrough Montreal. The flight was very expensive. As a Star Alliance Gold, I expected some kind of recognition or upgrade possibility. The only advantage was access their club which was almos 30 gates away from our departure gate. I would have been better off flying United. The 777-ER was OK, but nothing special. Premium Economy is not worth it unless you can reserve the two seats on either side. Avoid the bulkhead. The food was mediocre - mainly quantity, not quality for the main meal. It was accompanied by a wrap for the 10-hour flight, drink service only twice. Montreal airport was pure chaos in the US Customs and Immigration area. No access to Global Entry, long lines, rude airport employees, etc. Same once you get on the other side of security.
The crew was nice and helpful. Seats were basic. For a 4 hour flight, they didn’t even offer snack. Just paid snack, which is lame.
Flight left an hour late and that emperiles our next flight, but it seemed like they waited for us, as they let us on just 10 minutes before dep time. Otherwise flight was fine. Seemed to be quite a lot of room even though it was an enormous plane.
The seats were very nice. The flight attendants were obnoxious and rude. I felt that if I asked for something they would bite my head off! When I did ask for something, they said they would do it after they finished what they were doing, but never did. Horrible. Check in at business class took way too long.
Ran wonderfully and smoothly roundtrip. Could not have asked for more from the staff.
