Pros: "Crews were friendly and helpful. I never had economy seat that goes as flat as theirs. I liked the safety instruction video."
Cons: "They seemed to run out of food options quickly. Wasn't a problem for me. But, they should know better."
Pros: "Crew was amazing, food was filling & plentiful."
Cons: "Overall no complaints but the landing in Tokyo was a little rough. Pilot seemed to descend quickly which hurt my ears but otherwise, smooth flight."
Pros: "Staff were friendly. Alcohol beverages are free. Good upsated movie selections."
Pros: "The crew was amazing! The food was really great! And the entertainment was fantastic! I would absolutely fly with them again the next time I book a trip."
Pros: "Service was impeccable, as usual, from check-in to boarding. Crew was attentive and friendly."
Cons: "Cabin was too warm. Seems there is no way to adjust temperature /individual air flow on a 777-300."
Pros: "Your crew.they are wonderful,we are flying with ANA this morning we hope to have the same experience.thank you."
Cons: "There isn't a bad comment."
Pros: "Friendly attentive staff."
Cons: "The seat was narrow and after 9 hours, not comfortable... Normal for economy though"
Pros: "Crew tried to be friendly"
Cons: "Slow to depart after boarding on time, with an eventual delay of 1 hour (deplaning was extremely slow) before we reached the baggage claim area. The wait for baggage took another half hour"
Pros: "Zero"
Cons: "Asked specifically at the ticketing counter not to be seated in a non-emergency row. Were seated in an emergency row. For a 12 hour flight with seats that don't recline and nothing the on-board staff could do about the ticket counter's negligence and bad faith other than apologize. Seated upright for an overnight flight (for the second time on the same trip) for 12 hours. Not a pleasant experience. Had a feeling ANA would be bush league. This trip confirmed those suspicions. It wasn't the crew's fault (though they, unfortunately bore the brunt of my displeasure) so much as the counter's fault, but airlines charging what they are shouldn't be putting passengers or crew in this position. The ticket counter folks literally mislead us. They specifically told us that these were not emergency row seats and that we would have reclining seats and seatback displays in front of us like everyone else. The entire reason I asked is because we got stuck in the last row on the way in with seats that don't recline, which blows for a 12 hour red-eye flight. Instead we got seats that did not recline and a fold out screen that came from the right-hand arm rest. Not the end of the world if one had no choice, but certainly not what I paid for and certainly not what the ticketing counter people stated we were getting (under specific inquiry about the very point). The ticketing counter in particular seems to be skeevy, at best. To the detriment of their own crew, who is left apologizing for things they can do nothing about. As stated, this is a bush league international carrier. Avoid unless you love sleepless nights crossing the international dateline..."

Did not get to take it. Earlier flight was cancelled

The seat selection before check in seemed to be complicated rest all is good

Pros: "Food"
Cons: "There was loud, annoying static over the intercom off and on."
Pros: "I didn’t enjoy this flight as everything seemed very unwelcoming here"
Cons: "Take care of passengers for drinks and others. Treat passengers with other languages nicely rather than in condescending way. I saw air hostess laughing among themselves and being little short with passengers who couldn’t communicate. The boarding process was very chaotic with no groups."
Pros: "Plane didn't crash."
Cons: "Boarding totally chaotic, someone was in my assigned seat, plane was very late, food was crappy, no legroom , seat and armrests uncomfortable , constant screaming babies, smelly passengers, music only came out of one speaker, music kept jumping from one song to another and then back !"
Pros: "Crew very friendly"
Cons: "Lufthansa continuosly treats repeat customers like milk cows. The new ‘light fare’ is a genius way to charge the same as before with ZERO customer support."
Pros: "The food was really good! I don’t expect much from airlines but I feel like I got a real meal on board (two of them!)"
Cons: "We were delayed taking off and there were three screaming babies, but there’s only so much they can do about that."
Pros: "The crew was polite and efficient. Moved very well around sleeping passengers sprawled feet. The shortcomings of the flight had to do with being in a tail section of an economy class in a packed transoceanic flight."
Cons: "At the beginning of the long flight the cabin was chilled, which made me happy I had my hooded sweatshirt with me, but at the end it was hot and stuffy. There was no air regulation available from the seat, only light."
Pros: "Staff was helpful and kind. Entertainment had variety."
Cons: "Flight ran out of chicken meals fast, forcing the rest of the plane to have vegetarian instead. I was sat in 41G. Awkward seating arrangement. Worst seat ever! Super cramp, making a 9hr flight very uncomfortable."
Cons: "It was Air Canada. Terrible service. Staff needs education on where to take travelers thru the immigration locations. Wasted time going to different locations and time is an essentence! Too many changes of staff from one location to another when it came with wheelchair assistance. One staff was on her personal phone!!! Had 3 different changes of hands then still did not get us to the right terminal, had to run to make the flight! Is that how you treat a 86 years old traveler?"
Cons: "I booked flight for my parents from Kayak for the first time. The confirmation number was: KAYAK Booking Reference KE40651 British Airways Record Locator 3IMN38 Booking Date Jan 24, 2021 So British airways cancelled the flight may days before the flight date and they notified Kayak but Kayak sent me no notification. At the time of check in we found that the flight was cancelled. It was such a hassle. I called kayak to rebook frantically since it was very important to travel right away. Your customer service was pathetic. I was told to cancel my british airways reservation and then I have to wait 24 hours for another department to call me to talk to me about rebooking choices. There was no concern from your customer service that since u are at fault so make correction for it right away by rebooking it. You guys didnt inform us for cancellation of the flight that happened days before the flight. I didnt like what Kayak rep was telling me and called British airways again to see if they would do something. They then were able to rebook me the following day with 2 stops instead of one stop which I had booked. So my parents took the flight with one day delay with extra stops. I had such a horrible experience with Kayak. I will never rebook from Kayak again."
Pros: "The crew was ok. They seemed really hectic between Heathrow to Rome."
Cons: "The seats were too tiny for business class. Nowhere to put anything. So close to next passenger. I would not fly business class again on BA Terrible entertainment. No interesting movies. I guess they tried to have movies only with British actors/actresses. Nothing current. That’s pretty bad for almost. 10 hours flt. He seats in business class between Heathrow to Rome were like regular seats except with the middle seat blocked off. Food was just ok."
Pros: "Plane changed to an A380"
Cons: "Waited over half an hour to get off at Heathrow owing to staff shortage so the air bridge took a while to happen!"
Cons: "The flight was delayed by three hours; not sure how to fix that but it was annoying. For some reason the arm rests in the middle of the seats would not go fully back and I felt like the flight attendants were talking down to me. They also could have been having a bad day too with the flight. :/"
Cons: "The staff at the check in at the front desk were not helpful. Some personnel do not even have the training how to handle the passengers who have already checked in and have the boarding pass with them and even not polite."
Cons: "The seats rows are too close - high density. The flight was late."
Cons: "Inept staff throughout at Heathrow. Sat on the plane for half an hour while they located someone ‘qualified to open the door’."
Pros: "There was NO water in a 4+ hour flight unless you pay!!"
Cons: "Non of the three bottles I asked for on duty free were onboard It is apauling that food & drinks have to be bought in such a long flight including water!!!"
Pros: "Good crew and efficient service."
Cons: "Not the most comfortable business class seats. Had a hard time getting any sleep."
Pros: "Hard working crew and lots of movies to watch. Food was much better than the Philadelphia outbound trip."
Cons: "Seats weren't very comfortable"
Pros: "Good movies"
Cons: "Flight took 3 hours longer than expected and they lost the baggage of me and 50+ other travellers"
Cons: "Started off by being 40 mins delayed. Not bad, compared to the 4 hour delay I had going to Vancouver. Flight was super uncomfortable. Upon arrival to Toronto. The gate had ice on it. So we had to wait in the plane for over an hour before we could get to a gate and off the plane. And then the entire plane of people (300-400 people I believe?) had to wait for our bags to come out for TWO HOURS! Meanwhile flights from Vancouver that we’re supposed to leave after us , left before us, got there before us, and got their bags before us. Horrible trip. I could not believe how unprofessional and unprepared Air Canada and the Toronto airport was during the holidays!"
Pros: "Air Canada has one of the best buy on board menu's of any North American carrier. They even allow you to purchase Business Class meals (subject to availability of course). Flying on the older 767-300ER also has more shoulder and leg room than some of Air Canada's newer configurations for the 787 and 777."
Cons: "Air Canada's boarding process is a bit frustrating. On American Airlines and United Flight attendants make announcements over the PA to (a) step out of the aisle to let people pass, and (b) place larger suitcases in the overhead and smaller bags under the seat. That way they try to ensure there is enough bin space to accommodate everyone. Passengers on Air Canada stuff everything in to the overhead bin and nothing under their seat, leaving little for those boarding after and delaying the flight because flight attendants are looking for bin space. If they were more pro-active, it would speed things up."
Cons: "Gluten free food was mediocre. Worst on any airline. Crew was not attentive and anybrequest felt like an imposition."
Pros: "Your customers are nicer than your staff."
Cons: "Firstly I will start with the lack of service we provided when trying to get seats together after checking in online. We rang and were told to try at the airport counter. Then at the airport counter we were told to try at the gate and then at the gate when I went to ask I was told to go get both tickets before they told us that there was no 2 seats together anyway rather than looking first. All whilst explaining this was our honeymoon and we would really like to sit together as husband and wife. Then once we boarded the guy sitting next to me was happy to swap seats with my wife as he had back problems and had asked for an aisle seat but was denied. Finally we are underway and I find that my entertainment touch screen doesn't work so even though it is one i can't select anything to watch. Plus to top it off the seat arm rest was broken. Obviously with a fairly full flight with no 2 seats together their wasn't much that could be done immediately but where is the maintenance and actual physical plane quality? Do your engineers or staff not check things? Overall dispite this being our national carrier I am ashamed to claim that. Many of our overseas visitors for the wedding from Australia and Europe also had similar complaints."
Pros: "Quick boarding, staff friendly and helpful. Flight attendants ensured those with connecting flights deplaned quickly when we arrived at the gate in Montreal."
Pros: "I liked the fact that they provided beverages and food."
Cons: "I hated how there was NO entertainment. Honestly on a 12 + hour flight this was a bit ridiculous. No tv, or movies... no screen on the seat at all. Not even a big one for everyone to enjoy! It was horrible... The seats were so cramped and the staff seemed a bit unprofessional and sloppy looking. The food was pretty bad as well. I've had my fair share amount of flights and honestly this was probably the worse one i've gone on with the amount of hours it took to get to our destination. I wouldn't have mind too much if there was no entertainment on a 2 or 3 hour flight..."
Pros: "After a bad connection, it was nice to have a smooth flight."
Cons: "My seat assignment was changed without my knowledge. There was a charge for my one suitcase. Most other airlines do not charge for a suitcase unless it is more then one."
Pros: "I flew through Vancouver from Boston on my way to Brisbane, Australia and back. I was nervous at first because of the 2 hour connection windows. This might be a testament to Vancouver Airport more than Air Canada, but the flight home after an initial 14 hour flight was pain free. Boarding was fast (the flight wasn't full) and we ended up pulling away from the terminal early. I slept most of the flight so I can't really comment on food. The entertainment was the same as when i left for Australia, which was ok. It had a decent variety to select from."
Pros: "Passengers were so cool. I mean indian passengers were so warm and cool"
Cons: "Entertainment was old and broken. Could have been updated to latest."
Pros: "Flight itself was okay."
Cons: "Flight was an hour late for a 1 hour 40 minute flight. Airport checkin was chaotic. Security was mislabeled leading to having to stand on multiple lines. Gate information was not available."
Pros: "Flight attendants"
Cons: "The general condition of the aircraft. It was in disrepair and worn. Seats were uncomfortable. Audio/video was inoperative and staff could not fix it. Food was tolerable with a definite decline in quality."
Cons: "TV screen we're not working so to hide the lights of screen flight attendant covered the screen with a blanket. Remote was not working due to which I was able to turn on the lights and could not call the attendant by a remote. Quality of food offered was very bad."
Pros: "impressed with air india - thank you. dreamliner plane was so spacious, seats reclined a lot which made flight more comfortable and had great entertainment system. crew were friendly and courteous."
Cons: "food could have been more tastier"
Pros: "Whiskey was served to forget about my journey."
Cons: "Air India needs to provide proper training to the staff. Starting from boarding plane, no hi/hello- staff is like “show your passport” and then “GO”. I notice inside plane, there was no one guiding passengers with their carryons. Pretty air hostess with heavy makeup was smiling at older couple struggling with their carryon luggage, I helped few of them around me. Plane is really in bad condition - seats are not comfortable, TV is difficult to figure out because it’s barely work, audio jacks are broken. Do not press flight attendant Call button because no one will come to you - I needed some drinking water and press the button, no one showed up for 15 mins finally I was able to stop one who was passing by me and asked her for water, she said “Sorry we don’t have any small water bottle” and she kept on walking. I was like WHAT :)), After 5 mins other attendant gave me a 2 liter bottle and a cup. Later I found by one flight attendant that they don’t give pen to fill out immigration form. Passengers must bring their own pen and keep handy to fill forms. And finally Air India needs to provide some Tie to male flight attendant, One on them was wearing very rundown tie."
Cons: "Entertainment section doesn't seem to get update frequently. There were not any new movies. Food was not upto the mark. Given the fact that it s international flight for 12 hrs there was no toiletry or blanket provided. Seats could have seen better life then what they were in. There was no leg room if I keep water bottle in the front seat pocket."
Pros: "First of all there was no one at the boarding counter That could relay any flight information. The flight was delayed by two hours. I just had to sit there and wait without any communication. I had no idea what time to tell my sister to come to the airport. It was midnight when my flFirst of all there was no one at the boarding counter That could relay any flight information. The flight was delayed by two hours. I just had to sit there and wait without any communication. I had no idea what time to tell my sister to come to the airport. It was midnight when my flight arrived in Delhi.ight arrived in Delhi."
Pros: "The food and selection of music"
Cons: "The remote wasnot working. The floating bag WAs stitched ar the side of the foot rest and it was uncomfortable to sit there. I was made to complete immigration at the transit destination and not at the first port of entry. This change was not intimated before"
Pros: "1. Good food. 2. Air hosts and hostesses were excellent. 3. The baggage handling was good. No damage or loss. 4. No delay, quite punctual all throughout. 5. Boarding was a little messy, mainly due to impatient Indian passengers who won't let other fellow passengers board without a fight for no reason."
Cons: "1. While checking, the front desk person was absolutely miserable. We had a couple of baggage with 25 kilos and others less than 23 kilos. However, she would not let out baggage go until we evenly distribute all of them and make them all less than 24 kilos. We had to open all our bags and suitcases in the airport and redistribute. Quite a nightmare. So for future passengers, if you get someone like her good luck. 2. The Boeing-777 cargo is pretty old. So though it has everything still there is a touch of shabbiness all over the plane. They are not comparable to the top of the line Dreamliners that AI runs quite a bit. 3. Though the entertainment system was good, however, some of the remotes or audio outputs were not working well. Like my audio output was not functional at all. I changed the headphone and it still did not work. They suggested to use my own audio bud, however, I did not have one. 3. Limited beverage choice."
