Pros: "Really appreciated AC getting us on an earlier flight as our scheduled flight was delayed over 2 hours due to weather."

Pros: "Really appreciated AC getting us on an earlier flight as our scheduled flight was delayed over 2 hours due to weather."
Cons: "4 hour delay."
Cons: "Not enough space. Tv was glitchy. Seat uncomfortable."
Cons: "Air Canada has completely gone down the tubes and super quickly."
Cons: "No AC for the first 30 minutes after boarding so it was wacky hot and stuffy."
Pros: "The flight wasn’t full, so I sat in my own row,?which offered spare leg room (I’m 6’2”). Time to fix the leg room issue on Rouge flights — it’s 2018."
Cons: "Crew seemed uninterested in general. On phones in back while people struggling to find luggage space. Coffee cups and plastic utensils, etc, stored in overhead bins so people at the back had to search for carry-on space elsewhere, again, without assistance from on board crew. Offered service only once and many were sleeping so didn’t get anything. The overall check-in process could be easier, as the app doesn’t always work as it should."
Cons: "seat pitch pretty tight."
Pros: "Smooth flight no issues."
Cons: "Be prepared to pay for food. You do get offeted water or coffee or soft drink. No offer for a refill. No snacks."
Cons: "No food for an international flight"
Pros: "My first flight with Air Canada (TCA) was 64 years ago in 1953 and the airline still feels safe and solid."
Cons: "Food seemed OK but we both suffered severe stomach upset after the flight. From gate to gate in Montreal was many thousand steps. Crazy."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Flight delay led us to miss our connecting flight. Air Canada then lost our luggage for 6 days on our honeymoon!"
Pros: "My goal was to get a flight for a reasonable price. I got that and had great entertainment with the Air Canada app as well."
Cons: "No complaints."
Pros: "Nothing positive to say"
Cons: "Originating flight was delayed, so missed connection in Montreal and had to be rerouted. After going through 5 airports to reach our final destination, we finally made it - without our luggage!!! To make matters worse, the complete and extreme lack of empathy on behalf of Air Canada's customer service desk was less than appreciated by us.... As it turns out, Air Canada was aware all along that we would miss our connection; however, they still had us board our originating flight. The gate agent should have been conscientious and informed us that the delay was ongoing with our flight being number 22+ on the tarmac to take off, thus guaranteeing our missed connection. They should have rebooked us on another flight from our original destination vs rebooking us upon arrival in Montreal to miss further connecting flights. Very disappointed!!!!! Based on this experience alone, never again will I or my family travel Air Canada."
Pros: "The staff on board the plane were excellent."
Cons: "The wireless entertainment system is slow and glitchy and did not work on an older iPad. The food was subpar but by airline standards was middle of the road."
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "Old plane, no in flight entertainment"
Pros: "It was amazing and super easy. I cant wait to go back."
Cons: "I wish they had a meal and free checked luggage. Not the worst, but not the best part"
Pros: "the fact that is was an overnight flight"
Cons: "- Had to sit by the bathroom again! - they ran out of food - seats were uncomfortable"
Cons: "1, no food 2, pay for the luggage 3, very small leg room 4, too low temperature in the cabin and no blanket"
Pros: "Crew were excellent, flight itself was comfortable once finally underway"
Cons: "My flight was delayed, never given an explanation. My bag did not arrive with my flight from Victoria to Toronto. I was never told why this happened, and I was refused entry through customs and forced to miss my connecting flight."
Pros: "Short flight"
Cons: "Cramped seating"
Pros: "Air Canada's crew is very professionnal."
Pros: "Tel Aviv security is confusing and time consuming but Air Canada helps you make it through. Flight is on a comfortable new airplane with gray movie selection. Two full meals and a snack provided."
Pros: "Does not alert passengers they need an ETA before checking in. Waste of time"
Cons: "This flight and my next connecting one (also Air Canada) were both delayed by 45 minutes each. That's an hour and a half of wasted time. Thankfully, I just assumed there would be a delay so I booked a later connection in advance. The weather was perfect and there was no explanation on either flight as the why we were almost an hour delayed. I'm expected to arrive 2 hours in advance of a flight. Why is it so hard for this airline to be on time?"
Cons: "I had a special service request and it was not honored, not sure if it was due to flight delays or just not good customer service, I was disappointed because my flight changes three times before the trip and I placed two calls to the airline prior to trip to ensure my special needs were requested and confirmed."
Pros: "A very pleasant 9-hour flight. Plenty of room and good entertainment."
Pros: "The first leg of the trip was great from Montreal to Toronto on wide body plane."
Cons: "The airport in Toronto where they crammed about 10 gates together in a small area with no air conditioning (it seemed). Also flight was delayed about an hour so had to wait in horrible conditions with no seats for a long time."
Pros: "The flight was great, friendly staff, great food, new plane, lots of options on the new AC entertainment system. The new Star Alliance terminal (T2) at Heathrow is also so fast and efficient! No complaints at all!!!"
Pros: "AC's staff is generally very pleasant and accommodating (they are Canadians, after all). I checked in quite early and was moved to an aisle seat (was originally in a middle) with no one next to me - something the lady at the check-in counter did just to be nice! Boarding was pleasant and easy going; greeted upon entering the aircraft which is always a nice touch. The flight was more or less on time and things went smoothly overall."
Cons: "The power/USB outlet in my headrest did not work. I was also seated in front of a French couple who repeatedly hung onto my seat when they were getting up (at least 3 times during the flight). I realize this has nothing to do with Air Canada but perhaps they should consider offering 'French only' flights to avoid such annoyances in the future."
Pros: "Early and luggage delivered quickly"
Pros: "It was a quick flight"
Cons: "The attendants on the flight were very unprofessional - they laughed the entire time during our boarding and safety demo. They were more interested in talking to the ground crew outside then welcoming the guests on their flight."
Pros: "crew was helpful and nice, especially in the terminal which is hard for mom to get around. If you need a wheelchair remember to ask beforehand. We hadn't so we had to wait sometimes while they located one for us. As we had long layovers (so mom could rest) this wasn't a problem for us, but with shorter turn around times it could be an issue."
Cons: "people were rude. couldn't lean seat back and it was a red eye so I had no sleep for 25 hours. WAY too NOISY for a red-eye flight which also didn't help with rest."
Pros: "The price was decent."
Cons: "I was travelling with a 13 yr old and expected to be seated together when I booked. I didn't know I needed to pluck my seats if I didn't want to pay extra. The woman at boarding moved our seats, however, closer at boarding, which I thought was pretty considerate."
Cons: "No leg room, no tv's and no chargers."
Pros: "Everything was fantastic. Great flight crew. Great stuff."
Pros: "The flight attendants were wonderful. Everything was great but they stood out to me and my experience."
Pros: "Crew was surly overall on flight. On ground they looked bored-one on first leg of flight seemed hung over"
Cons: "Changed my flight home do my layover went from 1 hr 30 min to 5 hours!"
Pros: "The space I had for my feet and legs"
Cons: "The lights that had to stay on during a red eye flight"
Pros: "Boarding was on time and orderly."
Cons: "We requested for seat in the front and nothing was available. We were placed at the back of the plane one to the last row. There was many open seat in the front?????? Either inefficient or malicious. Our over head compartment was full with flight equipment and supply."
Pros: "Very fast flight"
Cons: "In flight Audio didn't work"
Cons: "Flight was delayed over 4 hours due to Air Canada needing a mechanic to check and sign off on the tire tread on one of the wheels, the ground staff enforced the carry-on bag size arbitrarily and inconsistently, and the entertainment system froze up and reset itself at least 3 times on the flight. Apart from the captain, the rest of the Air Canada staff exhibited the usual bureaucratic and defensive behavior I have unfortunately seen multiple times before. They're expensive (with a nasty computer algorithm that raises the price by over $100 each time you browse flights. The first time I checked, it was $300+; by the 3rd time it was over $600. When I used a VPN, the price magically went down to $300 plus, which was still a lot) and the experience is generally unpleasant. I have to brace myself for their lack of common sense behavior every time I deal with them. If I didn't have to fly with them, I wouldn't."
Pros: "The commuter terminal in Toronto is a bit of a pit. Basically a glorified hallway, which gets pretty chaotic while you are waiting for your flight, and others are queuing up. For anyone with mobility challenges it is a long hike from the main terminal."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Never happened since the first fligh never landed. Has to be rebooked on a united flight which took me to destination."
Pros: "staff is still largely your best feature..."
Cons: "i seriously miss not getting a real meal especially when I travel a long distance... these pay as you go meal packs really are not attractive and not tasty... surely you can organize a full meal like we used to have even if we have to preorder it and pay for it... everything just feels like a shabby cash grab... and the tv/movie screens are subject to malfunction... tapes get off tracked and make the viewing anything impossible as you can't hear the soundtrack..."
Pros: "Great service (Business Class)"
Cons: "Delayed 1.5 hours due to fueling issue in YYJ (not Air Canada's fault) Breakfast (business class) never varies and is getting somewhat boring"
Pros: "The aircraft was clean, flight on time, service and staff were very professional and courteous."
Cons: "Boarding should be from the rear of the aircraft to reduce congestion in the aisles. Need more vegetarian food options."
Cons: "On SAS. Lugagge didn't make it"
Pros: "Large selection of movie and music. Friendly crew"
Cons: "No internet on flights"
Cons: "Plane was very hot!"
Pros: "I was able to be put on later flights (my first leg was delayed several hours due to weather), but the staff either didn't have information and/or directed me elsewhere to obtain information. That's about all good I can say about the trip."
Cons: "Poor communication from Air Canada staff about when the next flight would be, moving us off the plane after it had to return to Victoria, only to send us back on within ten minutes or so."
