our Flight attendant Tina was great and she made such a difference in a very disappointing "First Class" experience. Seats weren't much larger than the ones in coach, there were NO FOOTRESTS, one of the reasons we paid a premium price for a 6 hour flight. The charger for the phones didn't work in our row so I had to plug it into the row behind us and there was no free wifi, so my wife and I paid for it and it was mediocre at best. Lastly there were no screens to watch movies, There was nothing 'first class" about this Alaska Airline experience , except for Tina! They just charged a lot more money for what on other airlines would qualify for the improved economy class. Very, very disappointed.

After a swift boarding we had to wait in the plane for over 40 minutes to take off. The same happened when we landed. Alaska had much more work to do on their timetable

I received the perfect seat. The cheese tray was delicious. Thank you!

Very satisfied with the trip, using Kayak and Alaska Airlines.

CREW ON AIRCRAFT WAS GREAT. GREATLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE ALASKA AIRLINES LOUNGE IN SEATTLE. I PAID FULL FARE FIRST CLASS TICKET FROM YYJ - SEATTLE-CHICAGO-CMH. THEY SAID THE NEXT FLIGHT WASN'T LONG ENOUGH TO ENTER THE LOUNGE. UNBELIEVABLE. WHAT DOES IT COST FOR A CUP OF COFFEE AND A DONUT? I PAID FOR A FIRST CLASS TICKET. DELTA ALSO OFFERS SAME ROUTE, SO JUST BECAUSE OF THE COST OF A DONUT, I'LL BE USING DELTA MOVING FORWARD.

The staff is excellent paying attention to your needs which in my case is the need for wheelchair assistance. I will try to fly Alaska Airlines whenever possible and recommend to my friends and family to fly Alaska Airlines!

We had an hour delay Probably couldn’t be haloed Very friendly staff

No hot water on a plane so no hot beverages , seats are cramped

Flight attendant need to be more respectful and careful of word choice when interacting with passengers. One very flamboyant flight attendant referred to my wife as “lashes” due to wearing false eyelashes. Should have referred to her as ma’am. Thought it was inappropriate

Appreciate the offer to change flight dates. Delayed take off due to cabin not being cooled. Alaska app is pretty bad.

Everyone was extremely friendly and nice, from the front desk to the cabin crew!

I like that we landed safely and that my dog was safe underneath as well. Outside of that, we were 45 mins late for a direct flight that is 1.5 hours long. And 2 of my 3 bags did not make the flight. Only my dog was onboard.

The pricing was split into an ultra basic fare with a comfort seat upgrade. This is misleading. Never were we shown an ultra basic fare. What this did because the fare category was ultra basic we could not bid on an upgrade first class seat. All e mails from WestJet were for ultra basic category with my wife and I upset as we could not confirm this with anyone from your firm. The check in counter were not going to allow our carry on but after some checking saw we had ultra basic and a comfort seat upgrade. They could not figure out how this was done. Now we have to go through this again at the gate in Mexico. Unless I missed it - please let customers know the billing in future. Respectfully. Gary & Nancy Moughtin

I wasn’t checked in for the third leg of my flight, my bag was checked through to Dublin but when I went to the gate in Toronto they said I wasn’t on the flight and had given my seat away. I had to wait 24 hours for another flight and instead on the one I had booked it was now 2 flights.

Our biggest complaint was a major schedule change that was not communicated to us in any way. Luckily the time change went later not earlier so we did not miss the flight. Our email addresses and phone numbers were on file but we received no email no text message no nothing. Short flight so not much to say.

The check in was quick but the counter person didn’t inform me that the flight was delayed. I was also not informed of the boarding gate. When the plane landed there was a mixup at the gate with the ramp crew which delayed the flight further. All in all the experience didn’t meet the standard I’ve come to expect from WestJet

Early flight was great. Naps, movie and into Mexico with time left in the first day.

Menu selection was limited and not appropriate for a flight of this length

Flight arrived early even after leaving late. Bag drop was a zoo, very slow even after using pre-checkin and airport kiosk.

A fat person could not use the table tray in economy - very tight spacing.

Boarding went smoothly and on time. No entertainment system and only a cookie for breakfast.

Business Class was great with two exceptions: they should board Business Class Only first, then loyalty, then handicapped and families with young children then by zone. With all the loyalty and credit card holders and families with kids, dozens boarded before us and we were in row 3. My only other compliant with Air Canada is they don’t serve drinks and snacks in business class until at a cruising altitude. Transat and Emirates serve prior to takeoff which is especially nice during boarding of big planes and de-icing.

there was no food or entertainment on that short 1.5 hour flight unless you mean the cookie and the overhead announcements... Those Q-400's are the workhorse of the rugged coast and mountains for sure.

Would have preferred a better food menu. Other than that, no complaints.

All good great price seating very cramped but overall very good

The experience was satisfactory. The plane was full and took awhile to embark and disembark. On a 4 hour flight, there is not much you can do. my return flight was in the very last row on the plane but was adequate.

Overall great. The crews were lovely. The seats are awful. I always emerge with a back ache.

Air Canada business class used to be among the best among North American airlines, however it has gone downhill since the last time I flew with them. They didn't even offer any drinks prior to takeoff despite having over 30 minutes on the ground for boarding and de-icing. Once we got in the air the service was fine, however the food was lukewarm at best and just okay. The warm bread and spring mix salad was very good at least. My main complaint is they were letting economy guests use our washroom. Presumably because the Max 8 only has one in the rear. However as I was sitting in row 1 I constantly had passengers waiting in line for the toilet.

We were able to change seats because of the wonderful Jacqueline in customer Service . My seat allowed me a bit more should we room but the seat was pretty narrow and I’m not a big guy. But I was completely impressed with the speed of the board I g process and the quality of the crew!!

Never had to agree to a change in my flight booking. Very happy with the whole experience.
