There are two kinds of taxis at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport, metred and fixed rate. The metred taxis are yellow cabs and are usually a cheaper option. They charge an initial fee of ₱70 (about C$ 1.78) and then an additional charge every 90s. The white taxis operate on a fixed rate and are also known as coupon taxis. The fee depends on your destination, but it will range from ₱440 to ₱530 (about C$ 11.33 to C$ 13.64).
If you’re travelling on a tight budget and not carrying a lot of luggage, taking the bus is a good option. If budget is not a concern, you’ll have a more comfortable trip taking a taxi. There are two buses you can choose from that both go to the city centre. Bus 2 is the most direct, with stops at many of the touristy areas. A one-way ticket costs ₱100 (about C$ 2.54), which is purchased from the driver with cash, preferably the exact fare. The bus departs every 20min from Terminal 3. The UBE Express stops at all central hotels in Manila and a one-way ticket costs ₱300 (about C$ 7.61). Tickets can be purchased online or at the UBE Express counters in Terminal 3.
You can rent a car at one of the counters in Terminal 1 or Terminal 3. Car rental companies at the airport include Alamo, Avis, Budget Car, Europcar and Hertz. You will have the option to rent a car with a driver if you’re not comfortable driving on your own in an unknown city.
In Terminal 1, you’ll find cafes and small shops where you can get light snacks and drinks. Passengers arriving in Terminal 3 have more options, such as international fast food chains and cafes, all located in the food court on the third floor.

I was handled by some very rude CSA's in DFW. I was forced to check my carry-on as I was flying economy. You are now allowed only 10 kg total on all carry-on items. As my carry-on was 10 kg, and my backpack was 2 kg, I was made to check my luggage. I find this procedure unfair, as many other passengers in economy CLEARLY had more than 10 kgs. If KA insists this is their policy, then it should be enforced uniformly for everyone. TO INCLUDE Business and First Class. They are allowed 18 kg now. From my perspective....absolutely ridiculous. This was the first time in over 35 years I have been made to check my carry-on. I am EXTREMELY disappointed 😞

Our flight that was before this one was delayed, and I appreciate that this airline sent a very nice flight attendant to pick us up at the Chicago airport and walked us to the gate. They waited for us, so we didn't miss the flight. That was amazing and outstanding customer service! We appreciate you so much!!
