When I got to my seat the first 30 rows were nearly fully, but the back of the plane was half empty. The whole time the gate agent was urging passengers to move faster through the aisle, but Delta should really rethink its boarding strategy. It shouldn't take 40 minutes to board a 757."
Cons: "Kayak a howed my gate as something that didn’t exist at the terminal. I went to a kayak help desk to have a ticket printed that showed my TSA precheck because it wasn’t showing on my mobile ticket, and no one was there to help. I waisted for 10 mins. It then took me nearly 2 hours to get through security. I asked if I could get through quicker and was told I could not, despite it being passed my boarding time. I then ran to my gate where I waited for another 10 mins (no one was there, again) and then an employee came out and said they couldn’t let anyone board once the door was shut. He then directed me to the delta help desk (there was at least 20 people behind me who missed their flight). I then had to pay an additional $75 to get a later flight. The whole experience was awful and I’m disappointed with Kayak and the gate confusion, but mostly Delta and the lack of customer service."

Pros: "I didn't get a chance to get the gentleman's name at the gate, but he was able to get me on the earlier flight (since I had NO luggage and only 1 carry on that fit under my seat) and didn't charge me the stupid fee for filling a seat that was empty when I was giving up a seat on a later flight that would accommodate those who missed this earlier flight. Nice to see kindness in an industry that seizes fees on every opportunity."

Got to watch bag handlers throw and drop luggage like true gorillas. Delta, this time you truely are the worst. Wont book you again."

Cons: "Seated in the rear middle seat. I had no options to select a seat when I checked in or made my reservation that wasn't an extra charge. I'mover 6' tall and middle seats are painful, especially cross country. Airlines need to be a little more attentive to their customers' needs. If a passenger is taller than average, and the flight is more than 60 minutes, provide comfortable seating at no extra charge. If a customer has a short layover, which their system knows about since it is the sourve of the flight plans, put the customer toward the front of the aircraft since these flights are habitually late and customers end up having to sprint through airports to try to make connections."

Three of my four flights were delayed and a connector flight through Toronto was cancelled altogether just after midnight, leaving me stranded at Pearson Airport. The ground crew were disorganized and unable to provide clear answers – other than their complete assurance that WestJet bore no responsibility for providing hotel accommodation."

Cons: "The stewardess (Stephanie was her name I think) grabbed my arm and pushed it out of her way rather than asking me to move. While it may sound dramatic, I am certainly not accustomed to a stranger putting their hands on me and it was hugely inappropriate and ruined my flight. This was my first WestJet flight after flying countless times with Air Canada. The whole experience was soured and I will never look at WestJet the same again."

Cons: "I was able to download the WestJet Connect app on my phone which gives you access to tv shows and movies to watch on your own device during the flight. The app was free and easy to use and there was a decent selection. However, the wifi on board is not free so even though you could watch the tv show/movie - the sound did not work unless you paid for it. There are many other airlines that offers everything for free - it would have been a more pleasant if we were able to actually utilize the service."

Because it was unexpected, we had to wait even longer for a gate to become available. We then had to re go through customs and get our bags then wait in line again at the counter to schedule our flight for the next day. Thankfully we were given a hotel room and money for food. Very scary experience overall on the runway, but they tried to handle it as smoothly as possible under the unusual circumstances."

Then when we finally arrived at SFO, the plane was circling above SFO in a storm for another one hour and fifteen minutes..."

ALL overhead compartments were empty. Both flights - Quebec to Montreal and Montreal San Francisco were late. As the result, we have to spend 1.5 hours in the baggage claim area, because "there are no baggage agents in SFO available". THAT WAS THE WHOLE REASON WE ONLY HAD CARRY-ONS! By far, one of the worst flight experience in the last 10 year."

Cons: "Delay with boarding for about hour without a good explanation. All monitors in airport shows plane on time when it actually was not. Boarding process also took a bit of time perhaps due to many elderly on the flight. Seating was also confusing as the middle seats did not correspond with aisle seating. This caused delays as passengers had to figure out where they were sitting. Checked in luggage at gate since flight was full and we were asked to volunteer to check-in luggage. At baggage claim, bag delay to retrieve luggage after already hour delay in departure. Bags was not labeled or categorized correctly causing an extra half hour delay to claim bags."
Cons: "Air Canada shares a trait with many other incompetent organizers: everything is fine if nothing goes wrong, but there are no contingency plans in place in case something goes wrong. So, things get more and more delayed. Can't you predict roughly when the plane is going to land (once it is in the air!) and arrange for some gate to be open, so that we don't have to sit on the ground for 45 minutes once it has landed, for example? People who know how to organize are ordinarily capable of doing that. Furthermore, the lack of transparency is really frustrating: we just sit on the tarmac with no indication of how long we're going to be there, and the estimates of the delays are completely wrong when we're given them."

Cons: "if i knew the name of the man i talked to at checkin i would make a complaint specifically about him. i lost my passport a few days before coming home and went to the united states consulate where they told me to bring a printed copy of my passport and the united states boarding patrol would let me back into the united states. the man at the checkin didn't want to let me through to even speak to the united states border patrol and told me the consulate was wrong. i almost missed my flight because of his stubborn arrogance. once past him i was able to explain what happened and show what identification I had and everyone was very nice to me."

It is ridiculous considering, the purpose of my flight choice was to ensure that I saved time and in return I paid for the convenience, ironically it didn't work out that way. There was no form of compensation."

Cons: "food should be part of the ticket and not extra payment. In a 5 to 6 hours of flight there should be at least some snacks offered."
Cons: "Food offerings were really mediocre and poor quality. For the staff and crew, I did not get the feeling that they had a service oriented mentality in their communications and attitude. It felt more like I was being processed- just one of any number of faceless people that needed to be dealt with as quickly as possible."

Cons: "Air cananda made me go crazy... They didn't prepared anything after I missed my flight. Because of immigration. They just said to me that was not their fault. But you know, I arrived at air port 5am. My flight time was 8am. I asked aircanada clerks to get into gate quckily. But they had me wait for a long time, and they said everybody was waiting, so that's not problem. But when I got into gate at 8:45, My plane already had gone. And I went to Air canada service center, I had argued for 5hours... because they just prepared my flight from Toronto to San Francisco. They didn't care about Connected air plane was Asiana. So I Had to call three company.. Asiana, Kayak, air canada... that was horrible time. Air canada didn't want to have responsibility about missing air plane. That's why I had to contact with Asiana...the first time Asiana didn't want to prepare air plane for free... I had to try to explain my situation and problem three times.... Finally I got a ticket for free from Asiana. I could departure at 9pm from Toronto. I stayed in Pearson air port for 15hours... because of Air canada's GOOD!! customer service v^^v..... I will never use Air canada !!"

Cons: "That i showed up in maple time and the plane was oversold, then they put me on another flight which made my pick up at another airport costly!"
Cons: "1. I ordered kosher meal, and we haven't because it finished. 2. The flight was full I couldn't findo a sit with my kids. I sit separately."
Pros: "It was a short flight so even if it was bad I wouldn't have minded that much but the plane was clean and smelled nice. Flight was very uneventful which is good."

Cons: "air canada moved the flight time up an hour earlier, so I missed the check-in cut-off. I never received an email from kayak or air canada that my itinerary had changed. On top of this, air canada wanted $150 to book me on a later flight (which, after protest, was rescinded). My guess is that air canada is vastly overbooking some flights, and this is a technique to shake some passengers loose and force them onto less-full flights. Shady."

Cons: "Only bathroom on the plane was closed due to issues. Plane was cold and cramped."
Cons: "Flight was on an older CRJ 200, which was a little cramped and grungy-appearing."

Cons: "The experience was poor due to a flight delay that would have resulted in a missed connection. This resulted in a very negative effect because I won't be able to make an important business meeting."

Cons: "Had to cancel my trip due to family illness. But, not acceptable to United for a refund. And wants to charge me as much as a new ticket to save my ticket. Why penalize me for a sick relative? Unbelievable! And very disappointing."

Cons: "My seat assignments were changed and we were at the end of the plane next to the bathroom. I know I didn't put those. I don't like the fact that you have to pay for baggage and there is no food provided other than a drink and some really poor substitute even for peanuts. Southwest at least allows you to have a free baggage. It's not the fault of the pilot but it also is very bumpy. The flight crew was fine and it's just the uncomfortable aspects of having my seat assignment changed and the extra charges for anything that makes it comfortable."

We were repeatedly and rudely dismissed 3 times, at 3 different levels, as if we were in the wrong to ask. If not for the kindness of a fellow passenger we would not have flown together. Very poor hospitality training."

Cons: "Dried throw up on the floor in front of my seat.disgusting. SO MANY FLIES IN THE CABIN!!! Crew seemed like they hated their jobs, were NOT attentive. wasn't cleaned at all. Plane smelled. Charge port didn't work. Tray was extremely dirty. It was the worst flight I have ever had and is making me dread flying United back home."
