Pros:car was niceCons:-cars have been moved a long distance away, -extremely long wait to get car because not enough attendants, especially with disruptive customers in front of me -first car given had the check engine light on and made noises every five minutes. This was immediate -- it had a check engine light ten minutes after we pulled away -confusing process to exchange the car that was not streamlined and took longer than it should have.Reviewed 8 Sep. 2020

Pros:Had to wait an hour in the cold standing in the lot waiting for the car. The attendant just came once and said we have your car in a few and the. Disappeared back in his booth and just ignored when ever I asked how long do I have to wait.Cons:Have my car ready and provide a discount, communication about the vehicle. Pros:The car was nice/cleanCons:I reserved a car for 12pm ET. Upon arrival, I was told there were no available cars and would need to wait a few hours until other drivers return their vehicles. I was stuck at the airport with nowhere to go, finally got a car around 2:30pm but didn't arrive in the evening until late Saturday evening. When I originally inquired about how there were no cars available despite confirming a reservation the week before, the front desk employees got a bit defensive. In the end, I made it to my destination. But it was a pretty bad experience overall.Reviewed 27 Dec. 2020

Horrible ServiceCons:Everything with the car itself met our expectations. The representative that assisted us at Louisville KY airport was horrible, disrespectful and extremely rude. She gave a vibe that she didn't feel like working or assisting us. I didn't get her name I was just so upset and on a tight schedule for our family trip. Anyways, I had two car rentals and the plan was to use one credit card which when I called Alamo for verification they said that was fine and a lot of people do it all the time. So the lady assisting us got us the key for the first car rental I was driving and then when we went to add the driver for second car all she said was she's not eligible to drive with Alamo. So i guess my mom was banned because of a previous accident she had with their sister company or something. She was so snarky on how she said it and addressed the situation at this point I was getting upset because she already had an " I don't care" attitude from the beginning. Either way I got my fiancée so he could drive the vehicle. When we arrived back at the airport a different representative was assisting us and moving forward with rental then she waltzes over and says "we just confirmation that we are no longer able to use one credit card for multiple car rentals". Seriously in 15 minutes the entire rules changed for a company and no one knew about it but her? It all got me upset because I called Alamo customer service and they said this is something that can be done. So the company overall was not on the same page and I feel she was taking it out on us for no reason because I was never rude to her. She was feeling some type of way and took it out on us. At the end of the day I was only able to rent one vehicle and it really messed with our family vacation plans and changed the way I think about Alamo. This representative is on the top of my worst experiences I've ever received and will keep me from using Alamo ever again. I even used the company after friends expressed how displeased they were with the service they received. Alamo should consider customer service training refresher. Im officially against Alamo and will see what other companies they are associated with so I will no longer do business with them and will tell anyone to beware! To many this might not sound like a bad experience but I don't appreciate people who work in a field of their choosing and act like they don't want to work. I'm a team leader for a call center and I have to deal with customers on a daily basis so when I don't get treated with respect or at the very least good courtesy it's really disappointing.Reviewed 22 Jul. 2017

Cons:I had a problem with my tire and took the car back to have it looked at. Instead of switching the car they filled the tire with air. A couple of days later the tire pressure gauge went off and the car was handling poorly. I had to pull off in a remote area. I called the roadside assistance and was on hold for half an hour. Finally the utter genius I was speaking to told me to drive to a location that was 70 miles away with a flat tire! In the end I had to call a service provider and pay!
