I reserved a car, paid for a ride to the airport to pick up the car, there was no car available, the staff was rude and indifferent, they suggested that I sit in the airport for up to eight hours, waiting for a car to become available, they also couldn’t guarantee that a car would become available, I paid for a ride back to my home from the airport. I spent 60 bucks to get back-and-forth from the airport and I did not get a car. I can’t imagine how this could be worse. And I can’t imagine that Avis caresReviewed 16 Mar 2025

No car was available. The desk person said she would have called to tell me, but, according to her, I didn’t enter a phone number on my reservation. She then read my phone number to me off of her piece of paper and didn’t even bother to apologize for the over sight.Reviewed 28 Sep 2024

Went to rental office and no SUVs were available. We had already waited an hour in line and had to leave the office. Went to the airport and had to pay full price for an suv rental. The car had not been cleaned. It drove well. Staff was nice at the airport Avis facility.Reviewed 10 Jun 2024

Car had a screw in the tire and could not call directly to any Avis stores to find a replacement. Came in to the Franklin Tn location ant Embassey Suites and was told there was a car coming in and after two days finally left with no car replacement! Customer service was terrible. The maintenance light came on had to find a Avis rental to bring it in. All the cars were filthy dirty. Many smelled like cigarettes. Will not use Avis again.Reviewed 30 Apr 2024
