Cons: A in dining restaurant

Cons: I didnt like was when we arrived at 5:30 and our rooms werent ready until 6! I paid good miney for this hotel and should not have to wait....on the confirmation it says hotel check in at 3! not 6!!!...what can kayak or crescent do for me? i would love to stay again but that put a big "?" to stay again....

Cons: only 2 elevators

Cons: For the price of the hotel there wasn't anything "above and beyond". There wasn't coffee in the rooms which was disappointing. We stayed at the hotel zaza last visit and would probably return there. They had small macaroons sitting out with lemon water in the lobby. Also when we checked in there we were greeted with a glass of champagne. They also offered a weekend getaway package for the same we paid at Rosewood and we received a bottle of champagne in our rooms and gourmet breakfast at their restaurant. The spa was very outdated, my massage was fantastic. But could hear the parking garage above a few times. The rest of the spa was clean just very much in need of updates. Something to consider.

Cons: My friends and I scheduled spa treatments. The "spa" is more like a locker room in a basement, complete with outdoor furniture and a tv on the wall with a program going. No soothing music or lounge type chairs. It was not relaxing at all. My friends liked their facials, but I didn't love my massage. For $150 after tax and tip, I expect a lot more. This was probably the worst spa experience for the price that I've ever had.

Cons: I had booked the room through Kyak but the hotel double charged my credit card and I had to call back to get it credited

Cons: Wish there was coffee pot in room or at least coffee avail in lobby. Was told coffee service ends when starbucks bext door opens!

Cons: The pillows were too soft and the view, which I had asked for was non existent.

Cons: Shampoo lotion bottles impossible to use. No instructions in room. Charged for incidentals ahead.

Cons: The elevators were small, slow, cramped, dark, and one wasn't workin. However I did see a repairman working on the elevators. Maybe they will fix this

Cons: Carpet was torn, furniture felt dated and dingy. Overall was very dated.

Cons: Rooms really need updating The bed sheet was old and worn out. It had hair in it and was stained from the previous guest's stay. The bathroom is old and the tub looks like the ones in the cheap 70's apartments. The furniture in the room was really worn out and looked shabby. No bath robes, sandals, etc. like they have even in 3 star motels. For a hotel like that, all the above is really a shame. The hotel needs to be bought by another group and rejuvenated. No wonder it was only $200 a night.

Cons: The formal bar was under construction. The cowboy bar was not equal to the standard of the hotel.

Cons: Would prefer proper cups in room instead of paper cups for my coffee. Also shower caps for the shower for ladies would be useful.

Cons: They need to update the appliances/furniture/bathrooms/decor.

Cons: It would have been close to a perfect experience but for the queen mattress of our bed. It should have been thrown out and replaced at least 2 years ago. Horrible. They have to be aware of it. Rooms are supposedly being renovated this year but mattresses should never be allowed to get to this point. Basically could not sleep it was so bad. The overbite parking of $28 seems too high. We beat that by leaving our car at son's apartment. If it had been more reasonable, we would have left car at hotel. Will not stay here again unless I am guaranteed a good mattress.

Cons: So last weekends stay was all for fiancee....Shes been really stressed lately and i wanted to give her a night to remember.First off partially my fault, but i booked on prom weekend so parking was horrible. I actually ended up parking across the street from Reunion Tower. Then greeted at the front desk i find that they've stuck me into a double queen handicap room, not ok. After speaking with the young lady down stairs she apologizes and gives me a different room. Again its a double queen not the single room. I had booked. Then when i go to wash up before dinner at the five-sixty, the drain to the sink was clogged and water poured on to the floor. Kids at the prom were having fun on the balcony, they were laughing, screaming and enjoying theyre night. Unfortunately for us, we were located right above...

Cons: The restaurants were all closed except the bar. The pool had limited hours. There’s no free parking.

Cons: Over charged, expensive parking, rude parking dude, misleading pool size.

Cons: Sheets were a bit on the scratchy side

Cons: Valet parking is a little pricey so I opted for self pay parking at the Amtrak station ($6 for 12 hours)

Cons: We self parked, and the walk from self parking is pretty long we got lost in the hotel trying to find our way to the front desk. (we parked in the parking lot closest to reunion tower)

Cons: Valet is a joke. Staff is rude. Not pet friendly at all. Terrible location, hard to access. Expect long waits for any service needed and fees that aren't shown online. Make sure to really check your bill upon leaving. Ours was screwy. Couldn't complete a quick check-out, because we had to go to the desk to get it fixed, which took forever.

Cons: Food options very limited, no room service, pool sucked, hallway carpets dirty, too many low class guests

Cons: I didn’t like the parking lot nor walking up a hill from the parking lot after a night out on the town.

Cons: Elevators are slow.

Cons: We had a problem getting the bathroom door open and so I called front desk before stepping out for dinner. They said they'd get an engineer to come out to take a look. When we got back, the sliding door opened once before getting jammed again. I kind of gave up and decided not to even bother another engineer since we were not there to engjoy our time and not get things repaired.

Cons: The train is a little noisy, even on the opposite site of the building.

Cons: The shower was designed poorly, you would generally want to turn the water on before you get in, so not to burn or freeze your body. The place was under construction, it would have been nice to know that prior to booking. Or, give a discount for those that suffer through this with you.

Cons: The elevators and confusing levels and entrances from outside.

Cons: My husband took me to the Westin Downtown Dallas for our anniversary. We are not wealthy and my expectations may be too high for today's lack of standards...I don't know. Parking: Self is $26, valet is $30 (only options) Bed: Like sleeping on the floor with only a thin down blanket to cushion you. Room Service: Not only did it take forever to get, but we called 3 different times before we made a choice that they actually had!! They had "run out" of the first 2 choices, and the third choice we were informed, although it was already on the menu, it was new and wouldn't be actually available for another 2 WEEKS!!! A 5 stat hotel shouldn't run out of everything or misrepresent a darn thing in my opinion! Staff: Cleaning lady flat out walked in on us twice! So we had to leave the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door the entire time with the extra lock on. However, the front desk had to call so we could open the door for the towel guy because he couldn't knock with the sign there (maybe the maid could learn from him). TV: Only a handful of channels and the programs/actual episodes, that are the same everyday! I'm talking not just the same program but the exact same episodes everyday we were there. Noise: Although on the second to highest floor, 31 floors up, we heard sirens, traffic, and construction (the entire time)! I understand we were in downtown Dallas, but seriously, I even had to listen to the delivery truck trying to back up and park for almost 5 minutes a couple times a day. We heard every door that opened and closed, and although we were as far away from the elevators as one could get, we heard it EVERY time it moved! Checking out: We requested a luggage cart/dolly THREE times over a total of 35 minutes and still NEVER saw hair of it nor any attendants! We waited until the exact minute of check out time and then hauled it all down by ourselves with no apology or anything. Misc: No vending machines, and the gift shop is an over priced joke even in gift shop standards. However there is a nicely stalked, friendly staffed Seven Eleven around the corner within comfortable walking distance. All of that said.....would I own the bathroom, yes! Would I ever stay there again, NO.....but that's just me and my opinion.

Cons: The maid service was lazy. The staff only cleaned the room once in three nights in spite of our repeated efforts to have it cleaned daily.

Cons: I didn’t like all of the hidden room service fees. Was not told a 22% gratuity was included so i tipped on top of that

Cons: I don't want to ask a bottle of water every time I want to drink water. no toothpaste, mouthe wash or brush. no shaving cream

Cons: Paper thin walls - can hear noise from above, both sides of the rooms, and especially the hallway!!! I can hear clearly worded conversations from the hallway. The door to the bathroom is barn-door style, so it doesn't shut securely, doesn't lock, leaves a small gap, and can hear everything going on in there (not too awesome for friends or acquaintances who want to share a room but have loud bathroom manners).

Cons: As nice as the rooms were, we were given a 4th floor room that faced the main street through the Cedars district of Dallas; Lamar St. And that was what really put a damper on our stay. The noise of semi trucks and dump trucks going by with their loud exhaust was enough to wake you up many times during the night. There also were several potholes or bumps in the road that made the dump trucks rattle very loudly. This is not really the hotel's fault but it did sound like the trucks were coming through the room. I would think a brick building would be more sound proof. Perhaps its the old windows and some sort of acoustic film could reduce the noise a little. It is unfortunate because it really is a nice hotel, perhaps a room off the side street or rear of the hotel would be quieter. I really hope they can fix this because its a great location and well executed.

Cons: Service was terrible! Ordered two salads from menu and it took well over 30 minutes to finally get the order! Once order arrived, food was very salty and not prepared well.

Cons: The bar upstairs was too expensive and didn't allow us to bring our own drinks to the pool. I wish there was some sort of breakfast provided. The little Keurig coffee machine in our room left grounds in the cup.

Cons: They were undergoing renovations, only one elevator worked, smell of sulfur.

Cons: The food was way over priced and not that good.

Cons: The police presence outside the hotel at 2 am pulling everyone over made it hade to sleep, but that’s not really a knock on the hotel. Just be aware you will know when the bars close.
