Pros: This is just the most amazing hotel ever , I have travelled all over the world and I have never experienced such fantastic service and attention to detail . Nothing was too much trouble plus the food was outstanding . They even packed us up a breakfast for our train journey without even asking . The roof top bar was amazing and the cocktails were too amazing . I definitely recomend this place and if you w at to be the centre of the hussle and bustle it’s perfect .

Pros: We love this hotel. This was our second stay and it more than lived up to our expectations. It is the staff who really make this hotel as they always go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. Breakfast buffet is lovely and the rooms are great too. Mentioned that the bed was a little hard and we had two extra toppers on it within an hour, which made a huge difference. Fantastic spot in the Old Quarter, very easy walk to the night markets and one of the streets that shuts to motor traffic on the weekend so you can really wander around and check out the amazing night life.

Pros: Awesome hotel! Greeted by the bellboys and concierge and welcomed with tea and fresh fruit. Good location with everything in walking distance. The room is great and was recently renovated with a rain shower head in which I could easily stay in for an hour. Breakfast is great that ranges from pho, sushi, yogurt to your choice of eggs. Hotel has a nice rooftop bar that overlooks the city. Massage services are good just make sure to make a reservation early. Laundry services are excellent too, comes delivered to your room folded and packaged.
Ling is great and was coordinated our tour to Ninh Binh with our excellent tour guide Alex. She also made our cruise to Ha Long Bay effortless and smooth.
Definitely recommended as you will not regret staying at this hotel.

Pros: I travelled with two of my friends. Since the time we arrived until we left that hotel, the staffs were awesome.
* The rooms are super clean and very modern designs.
* The staffs are genuinely positive individuals and very helpful with anything from tours and extended for our stay.
* Very professional and fancy Hotel.
* The food was sooo good, their breakfast was everything, specially their sweet yogurt.

Pros: The room and restaurant were top notch but what made La Siesta stands out was its staff. We had trouble with a tour booking (separate from the hotel) and they helped us call repeatedly to negotiate pick up times and payment. They took care of our luggage in switching to a different hotel after the tour too. It made travel easy and they treated us like family. Had we known, we would never have changed our hotel when we're came back to hanoi. Hands down, would recommend as a first pick.

Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful and had a nice French charm to it, but the breakfast gave us food poisoning the second day. The staff manager was kind enough to not charge us for it but then the third day, we came back to the room to find that the cleaning staff had gone thru our luggage and threw away a Starbucks travel cup my friend uses for tea every morning. I believe they meant well, and didn’t realize it was a reusable cup but it didn’t feel great to know that the staff had dug deep into our luggage to find it. Pretty universal rule of thumb that whatever is in a closed laughed should remain that way. No need for staff to go they it or tidy it up. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Also love the gym facilities!

Cons: It was very cramped in the room and whilst gorgeous not great when you have a child. Also not too many activities for kids although it was christmas season. One of the staff also gold our son to keep quiet at the pool although the management apologise later it was a bit rude. Also with grab around so cheap the hotel transport was way too expensive to and from the airport. I still think Manila sofitel is top notch although not so gorgeous furnitures.

Cons: The hotel is advertised as being the oldest and fanciest hotel in Hanoi. We splurged and booked a room for one night with a small child. When we arrived, we were told that we would not have a room in the original hotel but would be given a room in the new addition. We needed to pay an extra 60 dollars to stay in the original section. They should make this policy clear to potential guests. We also requested a rollaway bed and they stuck it in the very tight living room, which was about 5 ft wide. The staff at the pool restaurant got our orders wrong--forgot my sons drink, and brought my husband the wrong beer

We enjoyed hotel SPA center a lot - good quality and a very reasonable pricing for a hotel. Hotel itself is located in a very central location, so many of Hanoi attractions are in a walking distance. That was pretty convenient.

I would recommend staying here if visiting Hanoi. Pros: Staff incredibly friendly and happy to assist. Upon check in, you are given a very detailed explanation of the area, places to visit as well as the room features. Very good breakfast spread - selection of hot cooked meals as well as buffets with Vietnamese and continental options. We also ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Staff were always very attentive and helpful, food was excellent and very quick. Perfect location - right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the old quarter. Pros: Staff incredibly friendly and happy to assist. Upon check in, you are given a very detailed explanation of the area, places to visit as well as the room features. Cons: We chose a hotel in the Old Quarter, so we knew space and natural light would be tight, but really, it was worse that NYC. We stayed at the hotel 3 different times and stayed in 3 different sets of rooms. All were clean and safe and quiet and worked for our family of 5, but the rooms were very small and had zero natural light. It was a bit like being in a cave. Made for good sleeping because it was very dark and quiet, but it made being in the room unappealing except for sleeping. The last time we stayed there they "upgraded" us to a different set of rooms that did have windows, which helped, but one room literally only held a bed and these rooms had 1 bathroom instead of 2. Definitely trade-offs. I would stay there again -- food was good, staff was great, location was great. But I would look around a bit at more options first, especially given the price.

The beds were like sleeping on Cloud 9, enormous room with big, well equipped marble bathroom. Breakfast overlooking Hanoi with it’s super selection and impeccable service was the icing on the cake! Cons: Although the entire old quarter area is bustling and loud, there are two bars directly across the narrow street from the window our room faced. The noise on the weekend did not quiet down until after midnight.
There was also a minor issue with the hot water not getting very hot, and although the staff was apologetic, they could not remedy this issue before we checked out.

We had 2 separate stays, the final one we booked in the lobby for the same night, however, the wrong dates as default by google. The duty manager couldn’t do anything for us so we paid for an additional night. So it was a poor experience.

Cons: Breakfast. It includes breakfast but the options for breakfast are very limited. I would suggest booking rooms without the breakfast option and eating in one of the nearby restaurants

Pros: Hotel location is very good. Very 3 minutes by walking to the old town and lake. Hanoi city is usually lot of noises by vehicle horns and motorcycles but the hotel gets advantage because not locating within the noisy area like the main old town. The staff is very good by providing very good service quality even better than some of five stars hotel in my experiences. There are lot of good restaurants and street food nearby and small minimart nearby.

Pros: The location is just outside the Old quarter. And the staff are very helpful. Especially Thu who really helped us in booking our day tour and our bus to Sapa.. Breakfast restaurant although quite small has a homey feel, you can order food from the menu and they will cook it for you

Pros: The staff is amazing, people very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time there, it is easy to walk and we find everything, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and a great Vietnamese culture. The hotel helped us book our trip to Halong Bay, moving everything with fair and good prices
