Checking in and skipping the counter was incredibly helpful. We loved picking the car, although we really only had one vehicle option unless we wanted to pay more. Returning the vehicle is where Hertz stole the show. Mr. Williams at the Fort Lauderdale airport was amazing! He took the time to personally drop us off at our terminal and assist us with our bags so we didn’t have the bother with a shuttle. It was so helpful, having three small kiddos and all the stuff we have to haul. We will definitely use Hertz again in Fort Lauderdale because of Mr. Williams.Reviewed 27 Sep 2024

Their website is terrible. It was hard to get through to a person on the phone. Our flight was canceled due to the software problem, and we were unable to get a refund for our car rental from Expedia or Hertz.Reviewed 25 Jul 2024

The worst experience imaginable. Rented a Tesla and even though I arrived early - was told my Tesla rental was given up and I would be “upgraded” to another vehicle. This vehicle was a Corolla. because of flight delays and other issues we missed our pickup time such that it was cancelled and they still honored the reservation, then on the way out our flight got cancelled and we had to last minute make a reservation to get a car and they took care of us.Reviewed 5 Apr 2024

The one car I chose that was in the lot I was supposed to select from had a spare tire on, thankfully one of the attendants pointed that out so I had to take the only car left which was a 2 door Chevy Camaro- which wouldn’t have been my first choice. Also, the price of $79 was then I flared up to over $250 at the end of it all. Disappointing.Reviewed 8 Nov 2023

Everything. The pick up location was wrong, they wanted to charge me extra $180 to let me pickup the car at airport but then told me to drop off the car in different location anyway claiming they can’t retrieve the payment to this location.
