The guy behind the desk was very good at managing the customers. Especially the difficult ones who were ahead of me in line. When I booked the car on the Kayak app it gave me an option to purchase insurance. But it did not show up on my reservation at the Hertz office when picking up the car. It would be easier if the 3rd party insurance policy would be attached to the reservation somehow so that Hertz knows about it.Reviewed 14 Nov. 2022

Cons:The car wasn't ready for pickup on time. RX drugs from a previous rental had been left in the glove compartment. The car had a strange odor, like someone had smoked in it and they tried to cover up the smell.Reviewed 25 Feb. 2018

When you don't have a choicePros:I liked that I was able to get a car and get to work. Was relatively painless to get vehicle.Cons:The young man who checked me in first thing in the morning was late (it was around 8:07 when he came in. May not seem like a big deal but it was raining hard and i have to get through the city to get to my job). He also was wearing shoes that were literally falling apart and a jacket that was busted. Dress code? I wasn't told anything about how I had to drop the car off except with a full tank of gas and no pets. Nothing about filling out a form when dropping off the keys after hours. Boy, was I ever surprised. I heard him calling someone on the phone and complaining about his coworkers when he did get in and start the day.Reviewed 14 Apr. 2017

if you under 25 with a credit card this is the thePros:Nice car, easy pick up and drop off and a decent weekly rate. They were also fine that we had to drop the car off early. I chose this place because I had to find a place that rented to under 25. All the airport places had a 25 yr old rule.Cons:I didn't know that I couldn't rent the car with the debit card. I had to drive back home, a fair distance to get a credit card. I also didn't know about the deposit they take off the card. Just fine print I didn't know about that extended the pick up time by and hour.Reviewed 23 Jan. 2017

Pros:Nice car and clean. Very good rate.Cons:I felt like I was scammed in purchasing the insurance beforehand. Found out my own insurance covers driving in a rental and couldn't cancel. For future renters: don't buy the insurance beforehand.Reviewed 3 Jan. 2017
