Cons: Air in room could not get cool smelled
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great customer service and right next to the train stop so very convenient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a safe area and close to the el, the business area, and numerous restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Oak Park is a beautiful city to visit.
7.7 Good
Pros: Hotel is a wonderful old building. My room was cavernous with a small kitchenette and sitting room. Would have been wonderful if I were there for a longer time with work to do. The restaurant in the hotel is quite good, and there is also a very nice bar with fresh oysters and a good beer selection. Neighborhood is delightful with easy public transportation into the city (though it is a bit far to go).
Cons: Agree with previous post about heating and cooling. The window air conditioner worked fine on a very hot day, but was quite noisy. The remote for the TV needed new batteries, and they could not provide them at the desk; also, only a remote to control channels was provided, so it was annoying to use the TV's "sleep" function. Agree that most people would much prefer the main hotel where I was and not the newer motel portion, which seemed to have "tailgating" like activity in the parking lot. Was a little irritated that I could not receive a full itemized bill, and that people checking in while I was there were receiving rooms for a lower price.
4.0 Okay
Pros: It was convenient because my mom was having surgery at the hospital so it was close.
Cons: When we walked out to get our luggage out of the car, there was a huge roach in the lobby. When I alerted the guy at the front desk, he looked and said “oh wow that’s a big one” and STEPPED OVER IT! There was also dead bugs in my bathroom every time I went in there. This hotel was one of the more pricy ones in the area and it wasn’t very clean. Definitely will be finding somewhere else to stay if we need to come back.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was courteous and attentive. They were excellent!
Cons: Nothing
4.0 Okay

Pros: The place was extremely cozy. Very Serene and very quiet. We picked the Chalet Suites. It had a cozy fireplace and it was so warm and friendly. As a couple we had an amazing beautiful bonding time because we had a lot of privacy. Also, we were at the top most room and so we had all quality time spent in together The breakfast was totally amazing. And the owner plays such a huge role in making sure that all her clientele is comfortable. The soaking tub was also very nice. We enjoyed a restful time. And it felt like we had been there for years. If you are a couple in looking for some private quality time to just get things back together. This is the place for you. We definitely would want to go back. The location is also great if you're looking for restaurants, plus they have discounts as well that they offer in other restaurants. We absolutely loved it and it is the best place to go to. The pricing is also very fair for what they offer.
Cons: There was no elevator

Pros: Stayed here many times. Staff was always pleasant and professional. Rooms were great. Bar food was great.
Cons: I was in a rotunda room. Have stayed in them many times. This time the room leaked cold air in. The heater could not compensate for this. It was either way too hot or way too cold. I talked to desk clerks a couple times to no avail. I left without staying the second night I booked as it was miserable in the room. Now for the rest of the story. I am a retired Air Force Lt Colonel and a retired International Airline Captain. I was stunned to be treated with disinterest this time. My guess is because I don't have short hair and a clean shaven face now.

Pros: Nice lobby, great friendly staff. Quick checkin. Room was very clean, bed comfy. Clean bathroom.

Pros: We were looking for a hotel close to O'Hare for an early morning flight. Four Points was a perfect fit! The staff was attentive and polite from our very first steps into the lobby. Sometimes, you see dust and dirt accumulated in the corners but not here

Edward Hotel Chicago - Rosemont - Bedroom

7.9 Good (1,386 reviews)
C$ 169+
Overview Reviews
Located in Rosemont (O'Hare), Edward Hotel Chicago is within a 5-minute drive of Allstate Arena and Rivers Casino. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary at scheduled times.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Bed bugs. And I told them and they never called me back. We couldn't sleep from itching
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was really comfortable, and the amenities in the room are perfect for an overnight stay for a weary traveler just coming in to O'Hare from a long trip.
Cons: It might be helpful to have more than one shuttle van to go to and from the airport. The 7:30AM shuttle bus filled up before the 7:30AM departure time, so I had to wait wait for the 8:00AM van, which was a little bit late, and I didn't end up leaving the hotel until 8:15AM, which is the time I was supposed to catch a bus to go on for further travel. Perhaps at peak times if there were more than one van or some sort of sign up the evening before to get a sense of how many people need to use the shuttle, it would allow guests to take the shuttle they need to arrive (as close as possible) to the connections they need at O'Hare.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bedroom and bed comfortable
Cons: The waiting time for transfer was too long 28 minutes
9.4 Excellent
Pros: I stayed here during a conference that was being held at the Westin O'Hare about 1.5 miles away. It was clean, comfortable, and most of all, affordable - even with Ubering to and from the conference every day, I saved a good 30% off of what I might have paid had I stayed at the Westin. Staff were great, the room was nice enough, and I really enjoyed the gym and pool. Lots of good delivery options via UberEats and other local restaurants, so I didn't go hungry. There's also a Target about a 10 minute walk away, which is basically heaven for me. I'll be staying here every time I head to Chicago, assuming the price stays this low!
Cons: The bed wasn't super comfortable, but they made up for it with lots of varieties of pillows. Breakfast was a bit sparse - think super thin microwaved bacon and boxes of cereal - but for $10 I wouldn't expect much else.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It has an old Chicago cool feel. Unexpectedly . Close to decent food and casino. Clean. Staff is well trained and friendly.
Cons: I didn’t notice the hotel shops on checkin so I bought 3.00 waters from the vending machine s all week and they were half price at the store. My fault. It was my sons 21st birthday so rehydration was paramount . It got exspensive. Wow, still hung over. Thanks Chicago!

8.0 Excellent
Cons: everything was closed for Covid-19
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great location close to the airport
Cons: The room was very warm the Ac didn’t work and hence terribly unpleasant. The restaurant was closed and shuttle didn’t work due to the covid lockdown and so a taxi cost me money.
7.0 Good
Pros: They were unable to serve their normal complimentary breakfast due to COVID19, but the Grab-n-Go offerings were sufficient. Room changed on request.
Cons: It is really close to the airport with planes constantly flying directly overhead. If you can sleep through the noise, not a problem. I'm a light sleeper, so I asked to be moved to a different room to minimize that distraction, and the staff happily accomodated me.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Although they couldn’t have their restaurants open due to covid-19 they still served grab n go breakfast which was decent.
7.0 Good
Pros: Close by
Cons: The web site said 24 shuttle. I was not told it was not running until after free cancellation ended.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Front desk Staff members were very friendly.
Cons: TV wasn’t working, front desk said nothing the hotel could do. Wasn’t aware there wasn’t a tub/shower combo in room - only shower. Was told only after I arrived for check in that there was a $75 pet fee. The HVAC system was incredibly loud and rattled.

Cons: No.

Pros: Liked several things. Best of all was Shirley, the van driver who picked us up at the airport. We were coming in late. I was waiting at the gate at airport in Boston to catch my flight to Chicago and my phone rang. It was Shirley wondering when we would arrive. We told her and she was there waiting for us when we got to the shuttle pick-up site. Went to the bar for a drink after check-in. Bartender was very friendly. Room was nice and breakfast was good.

Pros: Surprisingly updated for a chain hotel/motel. Still, NOT a 4 star range, more of a 3 at best. Fairly updated but, still not up to date.
Cons: No food offerings near by that's affordable, aside from Mcd's
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: The hotel extremely disappointing. I booked this hotel because it was listed as having an airport shuttle. I emailed them to arrange a pickup twice before I arrived in Chicago with no response. When I arrived in Chicago I called to inquire about the shuttle. The front door clerk simply said “the airport shuttle is not running “ then hung up the phone. She offered no apologies or explanations. My whole reason for booking this hotel is because they offered an airport shuttle. When I finally arrived at the hotel, I was struggling with my 4 large suitcases to get in the lobby. The front desk worker (who I assume is the same lady who answered the phone ) did not offer to help me nor did she greet me. She was not friendly and she did not bother to stand and welcome me. Then, the room smelled like smoke and Old Spice. The TV remote has some sort of gum stuck to it , Yuck. The wall next to the toilet looked as if someone had rubbed boogers across it. All in all, I was not happy with my stay here.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: No eggs, nothing fancy!
Cons: Nothing could be better. This time is no good at all!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff respected my privacy and accommodated me with everything I asked

6.0 Good
Cons: Air in room could not get cool smelled
4.0 Okay
Pros: The historic feel of the hotel is very nice. The lobby is beautiful, and the staff were nice. Rooms are very spacious, except for bathrooms.
Cons: The rooms are very dated, and the furniture has dents and nicks in it. There was a roach in my room that had to be removed by staff, but there was no follow-up or discount offered.

Pros: Room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was good. Night time noise level very low. Convenient to everything.
Cons: Glasses/cups in the bathroom sink area. Parking a little cramped but adequate.
