I picked up the car for a weekend and after driving it, the steering was screwed up, warning lights were coming on, oil change needed. I called and they said they’d bring a new car and it took over 12 hours to get it. The new car was better, but overall, rough experience.Reviewed 1 Aug. 2022

My car was double booked and the other customer refused to come inside with me to sort the problem out. The staff handled it well but the fact that I lost almost an hour of my time waiting for it to be resolved when it should not have happened in the first place impacted the rest of my schedule.Reviewed 13 Jul. 2022

I liked the vehicle choice, for sure. What could have been better? The vehicle windshield had a small crack in it which I couldn't see when I picked it up at night, but was visible in the morning. On my trip I had to take it to get an oil change because the notification on the Nissan Rogue wouldn't stop. I went to Valvoline to get the oil change which was $80. Since I prepaid for the vehicle they couldn't credit me back I was told. Which isn't fair because the oil change should have been taken care of before I even picked the vehicle. The person who retrieved the car during my return was impatient in receiving my email address, which was understandable, but still was rude. The location was an Avis and Payless so there wasn't really a separation in who handled the return. All and all, the vehicle experience was good and safe, just the cracked windshield, oil change, and service I recieved when I returned the vehicle wasn't the greatest. I was told that I should have brought the vehicle back for an oil change, I was already in mid travel I'm not going to turn back and head hours away just to get an oil change.Reviewed 2 Jul. 2022

I didn’t even rent the car. I showed up at 1 pm to get to a wedding by 4:30 that’s an hour away. Any other company I’d have plenty of time. The line was 40+ people out the door. I waited for 30 minutes and the line barely moved. I ended up walking over to Hertz and getting a car from them. I think Kayak or Payless overbooked irresponsibly and I lost out on money because of it.Reviewed 8 Sep. 2021

Pros:Pick-up and drop-off was a fairly simple process.Cons:When we received our car, the tire pressure light was on. We connected with an employee who filled the tires with air. When finished, the light was still on, but the employee said that "it's because the tires need some time to warm up" (it had snowed two days in a row previously). We had a car for a total of three days and two nights. The tire pressure light never turned off. I wish the employee had taken more care to look into the issue and/or escalate the matter so that we could receive a new car.Reviewed 22 Feb. 2021
