The only sort of tricky thing was the distance and number of turns to get to sixt. It's probably better than a shuttlebus. At ORD, you go down to baggage claim, up to ground transport, down to the tram, ride to the rental car stop (2 or 3 stops), down to the floor, outside, up to sixt. Totally understandable and doable, there are signs all along the way. Outside of that, everything was great. Where to START? My husband carefully researched this and we paid ahead of time with your service. We get to Ohare at 5:30 a.m. and expect a car, ready for us? NOPE. No car for you...you have to get 23 miles all the way downtown Chicago and pick up your car there. Nothing we can do about it, says the SixT agent. No help whatsover. NONE. I wait 5+ hourse for my husband to hire a Lyft to get downtown (23 miles there at CONSIDERABLE cost). He finally gets back to Ohare to pick me and our luggage up about 11 a.m....making a long trip from the West Coast an even longer trip with major headaches, too. Would NEVER recommend SixT to anyone. Nope. No offer of shuttle to get said car. No offer to help at all. Absolutely horrid customer service.Reviewed 1 Oct. 2022

Staff at counter were friendly. It's impossible to get ahold of anyone at customer service if there is an issue with something. When I arrived at the counter they told me they couldn’t do the one way rental I had booked. They even said they didn’t even have an office at the booked drop off location (MSP). After trying 5 other agencies we went back as I had canceled my family’s flights after securing the booking and I had no way to get to my destination. Then they acquiesced and let us have the booking at a higher price. Turns out they do have a full scale office at MSP. If you don’t want to provide the service don’t allow a third party to book it. Pros:Staff was friendly but did not help me when I called in about the car being dirty on the inside.Cons:The car was in disgusting condition and clearly had not been cleaned or sanitized at all. Was not helped when I called into the store to report this. Also, the iPass did not work in the tolls. Pros:Staff at pickup were friendly, and the person at their 24/7 help line was empathetic when we had a problemCons:Extra fees & car model restrictions for younger drivers not clear online. No way to see how much insurance would cost before you book. When our car's tire was damaged, we had to stand on the side of the highway for 30 min on hold for roadside assistance, only for them to tell us the best they could do was send a local shop (60 minutes away!) to put on the spare. So the roadside assistance isn't really any help. Because they have so few locations, if you have any car issue outside of Chicago/Indianapolis, you're stuck with taking the time to repair the car, paying for repairs upfront and being charged for any extra time you have to rent the car in order to get those repairs.
