Pros:I had a terrible experience with this company. There was nothing good about it. I complained both to Thrifty and their parent company, Hertz, and did not get a satisfactory reply to either complaint.Cons:I was travelling unexpectedly due to a family emergency and needed a rental car to get home as soon as possible. When I reserved the car, I was quoted a reasonable, fair market price. When I got to the airport and actually rented the car, the amount was about triple that amount due to extras like liability insurance, extra driver, I-Pass charges. It was late at night, I had been travelling all day and needed to get home to deal with the emergency and not thinking clearly, I accepted all the charges. After I got home and had time to review the charges, I realized that I didn't need any of the extras: my own insurance policy covered the liability, and I could have paid the I-Pass fees on-line after the fact. The credit card used to pay the rental was my mother's, who was with me, so they counted me as an extra driver, even though my mother, (who is 86), does not drive. When I called to explain the circumstances, and ask for a partial refund, they said the charges could only be changed at the site of rental, back at the airport 4 hours away. I tried to speak to an attendant when I returned the car and that was impossible. There was no one to be found. I complained to both Thrifty and Hertz to no avail. They are not sympathetic to their clients' circumstances and seem to care a less about your customer experience. I consider that Thrifty engaged in fraudulent, unscrupulous behavior. I will not use any of the Hertz companies again and I urge you not to do the same. I would ask Kayak to remove them from their website.Reviewed 21 Apr 2021
