The move to foreign ownership (well, 49%) plus a new CEO that comes with a mainline carrier’s mafia mindset of shaking down his customers for cash has degraded Harbour Air’S once stellar service. The front line staff (though lovely as always) have little autonomy now. Layer on higher fares, more restrictions, up to $5/lb for extra luggage… the list of awful changes goes on. I, with others, travel for business and financially supported the airline during the pandemic, only to see the value of Quick Tickets go steadily down the drain. Examples: $300-ish one-way ticket is now non-refundable, mega restrictions on changes, and lowered baggage weight. Really? I could fly Vancouver-LA for about the same price and Air Canada would have fewer ticket restrictions. It’s a shame.
Great ride. Much easier than the Ferry. Loved the view.
Service was great from start to finish. Pleasant attendants, timely luggage to carousels.
This airline is never a disappointment. Always on time. Short haul from YLW to YYZ , best way to travel.
Boarding was fine, and flight was on time. During the flight however, you aren't even offered a drink of water. The carts never leave the galleys. All the attendants said the whole time is take your headphones off and buckle your seatbelt. For the price I wouldn't expect 5 star service, but maybe a drink would have been acceptable

The employees at the counter when we first arrived were very helpful and kind. The flight attendants were are very pleasant and helpful. I appreciated we departed on time.

Not the greatest experience everything was pretty mediocre. My seat was by the washroom in the aisle and was not located well as everyone past each other people were right in my seat and space.
Lots of overhead storage, good crew, good service, smooth landing.
Terrible decision to take a night flight. Not enough time to sleep and premium seat has no foot rest ao couldn’t get comfortable!

WestJet was able to re-book us to the next available flight at no charge when air traffic controller staffing shortage delayed our inbound flight
I am a tall woman and could not move my legs enough to reach down under the seat in front of me to retrieve anything I put down there. I sat in both aisle and window seats and felt extremely cramped. In the aisle seat, if the stewardess was heavy, it was impossible to pass, and she would knock my arm shoulder and thigh every time she went by. If I can avoid it, I will not be flying this airline again.
We never had an experience they canceled the flight and they did not offer us an alternative flight. I had to book one on my own expense. They offered us food voucher and we could not use them at the airport it kept saying not attached to an existing flight. The people at the counter were rude and cold and they did not care about our situation
Get our, as a group, skis on time to their destination. Have more attendants checking people in. There was only one. The line was a block long :( . Also flight change with 5-hour delay
First flight out in the morning is often the best chance of running on time. Not in this case, which unfortunately is now what passengers can expect as what is common. - If you are late for a flight, too bad for you. - If West Jet is late, too bad for you. - Bags don't make it? Too bad for you. - Flight change by 1+ days, too bad for you Prices continue to increase, while customer service nosedives. This is backwards and in any other develop country would be considered unacceptable - except for Canada. Too bad for us.
Enjoyed the flights with Air Canada. Friendly, courteous staff and flight crew - kept us informed and efficiently got us boarded and to destination on time. Seats were reasonably comfortable and good room in the overhead spaces.
In flight WiFi not working. entertainment system not functioning Food was mediocre poor for business class Service was ok but not excellent Crew were pleasant. Announcements were made at a ridiculous volume.
Had the same two cabin attendants and Darren and Lea are exceptional

Service and crew very organised however the plan and seat seemed very dated and not enough space
Plane was smooth. More of a YVR issue, but the gate at departure was JAM PACKED with people and departing flights. Literally standing room only around the gates... This should be staggered or spread out better. Other than that, the flight was fine.
The boarding staff was extremely rude and disrespectful to multiple passengers. I would advise to avoid Air Canada at Comox airport unless they take steps to improve their airport staff.
Was delayed twice- sat on the tarmac for 1/2 hour. Seat space is very cramped. Overall not impressed. Crew was lovely though!
It was all great! Everyone was pleasant and cheerful! I was happy to find that the seatbelt fit me....I found last year on another non-Air Canada small plane that I had to request a seatbelt extender and, as a fairly 'normal' menopausal woman who is definitely medically 'obese' and yet not unusually overweight, having to ask for a seatbelt extender was very uncomfortable. I was happy that Jazz, being also a smaller plane with smaller seats, that I did not need to deal with the discomfort and embarrassment because the seatbelt did fit me! I am grateful as even though this seems like a small thing, it has had an impact on me and I've since chosen not to go with that other carrier. I'm sure that Jazz personnel would have been very polite in accommodating me if it had been necessary, just as the other airline's stewards were, however it's in the 'not having to ask' that I have felt much more welcomed and taken care of. Thank you Jazz.
