Cancelled flight, had to rearrange plans independently and no vouchers offered

My experience was good. On my return my screen had a glitch but the movie, show and internet options were good. Seats were comfortable, as comfortable as a plane could get in economy. Friendly service. Only complaint would be high price.

Not the greatest. Our initial flight to Tokyo got cancelled due to mechanical issues, which was unfortunate however they worked quickly to get us on another flight and refunded my seat ticket. We flew with Air Canada back home and it was not a good flight. The crew never gave us our second meal and I was awake the whole flight so I know they did not come by. The flight itself was rocky and seats were uncomfortable. In general, for an international flight, I do not think it is fair that we have to pay extra to pick our own seats. I’ve been on many international flights and always had the option to pick my seat during the booking or at online check-in. Furthermore, if the airline is going to automatically pick your seat, it should seat groups together instead of seating them apart. If I already pay thousands of dollars for a flight, I should have this option included.

I cancelled my flight in March and have been waiting for 3 months for the refund. Both flights have taken off and returned now and still no refund.

great flights both ways on time both ways.staff(ladies) where great at check-in.

Food was great, I wished there was better options for movies.

737-8 Max is an awful design. Toilets in the rear are inaccessible for most of the flight due to service carts.

Flight was first delayed for 1 hour, then was cancelled. Communication was poor. I ended up booking a new flight on a different carrier to return home. I heard people in my gate area on the phone with Air Canada customer service who had to inform them that the flight was cancelled and they weren't being helped because the system hadn't caught up with what was actually happening.
