Flight delayed, luggage delayed. I am still waiting for my luggage after 2 days arrival of Lima.
It is not a good experience with Copa Airlines: flight delay, luggage delay, etc.
We where skipped for this flight will not head to Panama until tonight..
Seats were awful. Media should have been included for such a long flight.
Simply as follows:- First, there was no vegetarian option for the meal Second, only 2 washrooms for the entire economy class.
I was supposed to have a lay flat seat but they switched planes and there was only a chair
Captain and Crew were excellent. The Boeing 737-800 was showing its age. In flight entertainment system was sluggish and my Business Class seat on the outbound flight had some mechanical issues. Only real problem was the location of the Gate in Panama PTY. It was a 40 minute hike from Security to the Gate. There should have been some sort of warning about the distance.
Left my bags in origin city on a business class ticket , spent about 2-3 days in the same clothes plus the flight .
Horrible experience from start to end. Copa costumer service is non existent. They treat you bad. Everybody tells you different information. We didn’t received our luggage in the 1 day stop we did even we they said if was not going to be a problem. They didn’t respect the seats that we had and spread our family leaving in between of two big people who didn’t leave any space for me and crush me from side to side. I’ll never recommend Copa to anybody.
I liked the friendliness of the crew and comfortable flight. All good.
It was great. Expect that we left a bottle of whiskey which was a present for someone in the overhead bin and when we called the airline to see if they found it they told us we need to talk to the airport lost and found. We told them we called them and they said the airline is responsible for that but the airline kept saying it’s the airport. We told the airline agent on the phone that we want to speak to the manager and she did that the manager will call us the next day and that never happened. So please do better with this in the future. We use Discover a lot and we pay business class tickets and the lack of assistance on this matter is just not great customer service.
Boarding time was delayed in more than two hours. Then another hour on the ground before take off. Wi-fi was not working throughout the flight. Business class in even rows by the window are not so comfortable. And space for feet always feel tight. Had a meeting in New York early the following day with multiple people and had to request a delayed start.
Flight cancelled instead of leaving Friday am now, maybe, leaving Sunday
Check in was chaotic with only one counter for business class and first class. The luggage conveyor belt at JFK airport was broken so the flight departure was delayed which made the flight stressful as I had a tight connection. Although the captain said they could make up the delay, they didn’t do so.
Lost of requested seat assignments. Lost my husband's meal choice
Staff were not attentive, wifi did not work, cut my head in the bathroom due to the position of the soap on the sink, had blood running down my face, told staff, they had no expression no sympathy, didn't even say "sorry", they said "oh we will have a look at that" about 10 mins later the purser brought me a bandaid, still no sorry.... Shocking
My food prefer was confirmed by email 2x and still the crew claim they had no pre-order. I taken ill while in India so I needed to avoid Indian sauces and spices, so the problem with the preorder was unacceptable. Additionally, is there a new rule to automatically not to disturb passengers? I would like this as an option. Lastly, for breakfast I needed to avoid Indian and I’m allergic to eggs.. therefore the only option was pancakes and guess what was not available!!!
Terrific in every way. On time, professional staff, multiple movie options to select, great food and drink.
Crew was friendly and competent. Food, wine, and entertainment were excellent except the raw tuna on the flight to Split. Recommend against serving that - at least as the only option. Many medical conditions do not allow people to eat raw fish.
It's a long flight and I would have liked better snacks between lunch and the arrival meal. It's fine to have fruit and nuts but I really don't like ramen because it's salty junk soup. I'd suggest sandwiches. They're not expensive nor are they hard to store for a long flight. The FA's had a couple of big services and they were super busy preparing, executing and then cleaning up. Then they disappeared.
It is stupid to have to go to Atlanta in order to get to Rochester NY. I was up for 36 hours because who can sleep on an airplane. I'll next do tht again.
Always a pleasure to fly with WestJet. I am however frustrated about the rising costs. We have started to resort to Ultra Basic fares to afford but really missing the extra bag but too costly.
The crew were all helpful, kind, and effective. There could have been more space under the seats.
Bumped from my connected flight, we arrived earlier than scheduled and I was bumped 4.5 hours later. There was no reason, they said my time I wouldn’t have connected in time. I had 41 minutes. None of Westjet customer service in airport could figure out why me and my 5 year old were bumped from flight we booked. We had 10 minutes to get to next gate after we got off the plane, one lady mentioned that’s not enough time to get to next gate. I was there in 3 minutes. Was originally suppose to fly out at 6:50 pm And was re scheduled to 11:45pm.
Everything went well, smooth flight, arrived on time, no lost luggage!
Food was not inspired but was satisfying. Same for infotainment selection. You’d think business class would come with complimentary WiFi. Crew was uniformly attentive and excellent.
Flight left on time. The crew was very friendly. I had to buy a proper meal. Small cookie and a drink just doesn’t cut it for a 4.5 hours flight.
Did not like the seat selection which was poor.? My daughter and I never did get seats together because it all took place at the last minute and we had to accept whatever seats were left

The staff and flight were great! The inflight enteretaintment did not work from EZE to MIA. They attempted to troubleshoot but exhausted all options.
Flight took additional prep time since plane came from Mexico, which resultrd in boarding and plane prep being delayed for additional cleaning procedures. Once boarded, plane tire was identified as being low on air and needed to be replaced, which creared the need to deboard and further delays for what was already a late night flight. Would have expected a better scheduled turn around and prep buffer that would have not created that degree of delay and deboarding
Primary flight attendant in FC wasn't that engaged throughout the flight. All other aspects of flight were good.
I am absolutely furious with American. they shut the door in my face when I was trying to board the flight and kicked me off of it. They made no attempt to call my name or contact me or anything. They just said they gave my seat away. The customer service response has been atrocious. I will never fly this airline again as long as I live.
Confusion at boarding with my seat (there wasn't one) that I had to have corrected using my status; then because of that had to check bags. And then a very long delay on the tarmac with no air conditioning on a very warm day. It was just a miserable experience all around.
American Airlines put the food on the wrong plane which had already taken off by the time we took off so we had no food on the plane.
With weather and severe delays it was disappointing we didn't receive any compensation for the 5 hour delay. Not even a food voucher.
British Airways canceled our original flight and rebooked us on Air Canada one day later. As a result, we lost one day of our Geneva trip and incurred financial losses for a prepaid hotel night and a day trip that we were unable to use.
Sat on tarmac at arrival at DFw for more than 30 min waiting for a gate.
Old dirty plane but great lie flat seats in business class
Seats are absolutely not comfortable and large enough. There’s a limit and you stepped over it. I understand that there’s a business class, however for the price it costs, it’s just plain stupid for a 50 minute flight.
The crew was great! They waited for me as Air Canada flight was delayed by 1:15 hours from Ottawa to Toronto. I am a bit disappointed that we could only use wifi for entertainment but I survived! The only thing I would of liked is a more comfortable seat. The seat cushions are not thick enough for flights longer than 3 hours. Aside from that, everything was great.
I had bad experiences before now was excellent I am glad they have business class again
Boarding was late due to the company’s that cleaned the aircraft (very poorly done) and the catering company. The entertainment system was not working for this six hour flight, uncomfortable seats in business (barely any cushion or recline). The airline staff is very good but the planes are horrible and not well maintained.
Deplaning was a mess, I sat in business (seats are horrible) and the front door had a problem so we had to deplane from the rear exit. The stairs were not tall enough to reach so there was a large step down from the plane to the top of the stairs.
Staff are the rudest in the industry … awful customer service … will never fly Avianca again
Last seat of Bussines Class it does recline but passenger seating behind kept pushing since they did not have space once my seat was reclined
Flight to Bogotá delayed by 3 h Missed connection from Bogotá to Guayaquil. Avianca unable to bring us to Baltra on time Overall delay 36h. We missed boat departure from galagos. Overall 10 day trip needed to be cancelled. Avianca was completely un-professional.
Purchased a business class ticket and got a economy seat with center seat blocked they call it business. 3100usd ticket on a flight where economy costs 500usd The biggest scam insult have had on a regular airline. Avianca should be in the low cost category and kicked out of Star Alliance. I want the difference to be credited. Ets see what Avianca does. No reply so far. Avianca = low cost airline. Beware
The seats were very uncomfortable. I would have upgrade or got different flight if I knew. I usually sleep in the plane but I couldn’t sleep at all. Very uncomfortable. Also no food or drink everything was to purchase, and that’s u usual for international flight.
