Landed safely. The stewardess was very nice and engaging.
My plane took off late from Wichita, and missed departure to LA in Denver by five minutes. Despite their being several of us, they didn't hold the plane. It's 7:39 before I'm guaranteed a make up flight because I'm told by customer service that united flies fewer flights during holidays periods despite being the busiest season of the year. United did nothing to make up for the night with family they have taken from me on vacation.

Flight was delayed and no one could tell us why or for how long we would be delayed (not even on the kiosk) ... turns out it was delayed for 3 hours ... didn’t get a phone update until 1/2 hour before boarding. people were very rude about it. Turns out the plane had issues, so they had to send another one ...

Service personnel at Air Canada were very helpful and re-booked me several times and when none of those flights left, they said they would refer me to refund department.
Online checkin failed, airport kiosk couldn't handle how names are written on Japanese passports (it's English) and had to wait 2 hours on the line to check in because they were down to 1 agent toward the end. Made it to the gate just as boarding started. Very limited entertainment options for modern day airlines. Uncomfortable seating.
They have good entertainment system and library
The plane delayed for almost 90m due to a mechanical issue. Of course, we missed our connection in Vancouver. Upon arriving in Vancouver, there was no help at all or guidance. Customer support desk was manned by one agent even in the presence of long queues.
The Air Canada app to have access to the entertainment on board did not work.
Staff were friendly and worked hard.
Seats were very basic and not as good as the low cost carrier I normally fly out of the UK. Very old and noisy aircraft. Seemed little control over how much hand luggage passengers were bringing onto the aircraft.

The Delta check-in at RDU was terribly understaffed with only 2 agents handling baggage drop-off for a fully booked Boeing 757. I waited over 1 hour and got to the gate at the last minute. Poorly managed! The flight crew was great though! Very attentive service even in the economy class!
The food could be better.
Entertainment and crew were great- comfortable seats, got to watch a couple of movies with headphones provided by Delta; forgot mine so I assumed I would be miserable thru the whole 4 hour flight. so glad I was wrong! Would definitely take another flight with Delta... looking into the frequent flyer program as we speak
