Cons: "I landed at Zurich airport at 6am with an 11 hour wait and tried to get onto an earlier us bound flight. The ground crew were awful and rude!. The dint make any effort to smile, look at me in the face or ask how I was doing!. Instead she took one look at my ticket and said “ sorry you bought through an agent, I can’t help you”. When I tried to ask if in future it is advisable to book through Swiss airlines directly, the customer service agent looked at me and said “ that’s your problem”- then she turned to her friend and kept talking! Honestly! . The airport terminal E is grey, drab and boring. No TV and only 2 hour of WiFi. I was told I had to pay to use one of their lounges just to get a recliner chair to lay my head for 11 hours. I felt like I was in a holding cell- and the flight was delayed by an hour, had a gate change that they dint tell us till less than 1hour- boy was I glad to leave Zurich!. If that is Swiss hospitality, they have a long way to go. Save your money and use another airline. You will be much happier- trust me."

I am only 5'7", 150lbs, but for the first time ever could not reach my belongings in the under-the-seat space in front of me. Seriously, it was that cramped."

Cons: "On an 8 hour flight there’s no complimentary meal. I paid for a meal and it was worse than free plane food and starved for the rest of the trip. The chairs were horribly uncomfortable with no lower back support and we were not even given pillows and blankets. There was also no free entertainment. I rented a tablet and had it taken away an hour before landing while I was in the middle of a movie. I might have been ok with that if the flight attendant had politely asked for it back rather than rudely waving and pointing while I stared at her blankly trying to figure out what she wanted. Next time I’ll pay a bit more for an airline that respects its passengers and our comfort."

So they say will wait for us as flight not full. Nope, flight leaves without 7 of us. Got the " don't know what happened" look. So they give us a $60 dollar food voucher, and take us to hotel because now must wait 12 hours for next flight. Tell us to be in lobby at a certain time to catch shuttle back to airport. Time comes, sorry no room, and buggers off. They call taxis, when drivers find drive for vouchers, tell us to load own baggage! Not likely to fly West Jet again."

Upon arrival, I was advised to go to an elevator on the south side of the building, and attendants would help me. No attendants, nothing. Went to an information booth, and they said "oh no, you need to go to the special American Airlines luggage office [at the far other end of the building] and they will have it." Ran down there....nope, no guitar. They said "oh no, you need to go to this elevator on the north side at the other end of the building." Tore down there....no guitar, nothing. Got the attention of an attendant who said he would ride the elevator down and look for it. I was beyond frustrated and worried. Just then, another attendant called out "oh, a guitar just came out on the carousel!" Yes, the regular luggage carousel, which meant that it had been thrown onto a cart and bounced across the tarmac and tossed onto the conveyor belt like a suitcase, which is EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT DO. It managed to survive, but I cringe at the thought of flying with them again."

Cons: "The floor board was literally freezing (a man using the vents to cool his wine bottle). Many voiced their concerns and attendants were responsive, but it never got fixed. Perhaps a plane operation issue. So I was uncomfortable the entire flight along with everyone around me. When asked if they had a blanket to use, the only option was to purchase. Again, not any of the attendants problems - they were respectful. It seems like more of a company issue perhaps."

We over 90 minutes for in-person assistance, only to be directed to a telephone to re-book our flight. We missed an entire day of our trip to Japan. I'm very disappointed in my experience flying Air Canada."

When it was time for passengers who needed help boarding, he took them back one at a time, leaving the gate completely unstaffed. When he came back, he strolled like there was no urgency whatsoever. Every other airline I'm on tries to speed up boarding if the plane is already late. I was amazed that they didn't even add a second agent to the gate."

The guy next to me was an elderly, portly Portuguese man, and because the seats are so narrow, he was spilling over into my seat (no fault of his own). Neither of us could nap And the fare was not particularly cheap at $580 one way. It was truly horrible. I arrived exhausted and am still recovering from jet lag"

Because of the size of CDG and the long wait for our baggage from the Split flight on Easy Jet, we arrived at the Air Transat desk 5 minutes after it closed. We then had to pay MORE than our round-trip tix to get a one-way to Quebec, then taxis and Bus to Montreal, where our car was. We could have gotten on our plane if you were just a tiny bit more understanding and flexible; we were willing to jettison anything in our bags that needed checking in order to bring them as carry-on. Not happy!! The agent who re-booked us said we are at least entiltled to a refund on the trip taxes for the tix we did not use. We were travelling with another couple, Lee and Betsy Lynd, who shared our experience."
