Lufthansa made no effort to pass along their connecting flight information, they just drop all responsibility and say it is a United flight so offer no help. First and last time with Lufthansa."

Cons: "The whole trip was a nightmare. I go out of my way to NOT fly United, In this case Lufthansa somehow just sold the ticket and United was flying it and as usual it was horrendous. We had to be re-routed via 3 separate flights jus to make our international connection thanks to our initial flight being moved up 2 hours EARLY. They closed the door in our faces. That added 8 hours of travel time to our trip which I had booked to minimize travel time as I was traveling with pets. United is the WORST."

We then had to wait another day to have the bag delivered to Granada. Terrible customer service, the bag was missing for four days causing us to spend time shopping for clothes rather than experiencing the city."

My husband and I were seated in two different rows even though we requested to sit together in an aisle and window seat and checked in the day before the flight This happened on all four legs of a trip to South Africa. Extremely narrow seats and little leg room. Felt like a cattle car. An aggressive woman with disruptive, screaming children was allowed to Torture passengers for a good five hours of the flight before the bursar finally moved her. This was after several hours of complaints from other passengers. She was eventually moved twice due to passenger complaints. The situation should have been handled after the first complaints which occurred two hours into the flight before the situation completely detiorated Food was terrible and meals ran out."

Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Good travel

This American Airlines strike is wack. Our flight was delayed 2 hours because the flight crew didn’t show up. Extremely disappointing.

Compared to other US airlines, American is the worst. The planes are tight. Seats are uncomfortable and there was no option to buy food on a 6 hour flight. Also the free wifi didn’t work.

Cons: "Jam Packed flight.Felt like there was not a lot of precaution taken.You can thoroughly sanitize the plane but if passengers are packed in like sardines...it doesn’t make much of a distance.Needed to travel for essential reasons and was nervous as it was...The airline overbooking didn’t help"

Cons: "This flight was miserable. Seriously, one of the worst flight experiences I've ever had. The leg room was absurdly small. I'm not a tall person and I only had one inch in front of my legs. When the guy in front of me put his seat back it pressed into my knees. There wasn't enough space to bend down and untie my shoes, let alone get something out of my bag. My shoulder and knee were touching the guy next to me (a complete stranger) for the entire flight and there was nothing I could do about it. This was a red-eye but I absolutely could not sleep because it was so uncomfortable, so when we landed I had a terrible migraine and was nauseous and disoriented going through customs. I actually had to sit down in the airport because I though I was gonna pass out while trying to carry my bag, that's how shitty I felt after this flight. On top of that, not being able to sleep on the flight really messed up my sleep schedule and so jet lag from the time change has been made even worse, so I'm completely out of whack and its so much worse that it otherwise would have been because of the horrible flight. Also the food was gross and there wasn't enough of it. Even now, I don't think I have really communicated just how shitty this flight was. I was actually angry when I saw my seat upon boarding, and I'm still angry about it now."

IT WAS 20 FEET AWAY FROM ME IN THIS TINY AIRPORT. MY CO-WORKER WAS ABLE TO GET ON, BUT I WAS A COUPLE OF STEPS BEHIND BECAUSE OF RETURNING THE RENTIAL CAR."

I didn't worry too much about charging my devices at my layover because I knew I could charge them on the plane. When I got on it was clear that there was no outlets, no video on the backs of seats, no devices being handed out for purchase. Nothing. I'm definitely used to more updated planes, but I would have been ok without the misinformation. I ended up on a 4 hr flight bored out of my gourd—which could have been avoided."
Pros: "- The boarding process went very fast and smooth for such a packed plane."
Cons: "- food was HORRIBLE. I asked for the chicken dinner and it was COLD and disgusting. There should always be a pasta option on a flight. Also, they ran out of red wine before dinner. - the staff skipped over me TWICE when handing out beverages. I had to remind them that I existed twice and they didn't apologize for skipping over me."
Pros: "The crew kept us informed as to why we didn''t leave the gate on time; they served beverages and snacks in an efficient manner. Once we got to Dallas we were early, he made up time in the air and the captain informed us that the gate was not ready to receive the plane. We waited about 15 minutes and then we got to the gate."
Pros: "Not a good experience so nothing"
Cons: "AA failed to allow me to check in at initial arrival in Grande Prairie airport so I had to rush to get a boarding pass in Calgary where the AA agent told me it was not an AA problem and sent me back to WestJet. WestJet discovered that it was an AA problem and returned me to the AA counter where it was resolved. Then I had to rush to catch the flight and missed any opportunity to have a decent lunch between flights. Then there was no food offered on the AA flight to Dallas."

Cons: "The entire HUGE MESS from booking til sitting on our last airplane. The “new reservation” system is a horrible joke. The right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing so you get completely wrong info and they won’t do anything about it. I’m a wheelchair assist and had to call 6 times to remind them to put it on my ticket even though each time I was shown that it had been added. They kept seating on the back row of the plain and blamed me for not calling ahead to “let them know I was wheelchair assist so they could reseat me” BUT...they won’t answer you call unless it’s 24 before your flight and then to check at the airport who then tells us it’s out fault cause we didn’t call more then 36 hrs ahead...YOU CANT CALL THAT FAR AHEAD...and ...get this “they don’t have wheelchair assist on my ticket/file”. I about lost my mind over the hours on hold and every different answer as to what what to do and in the end blamed us. ASTONISHING TO ME. THEN THEY HAVE THE NERVE ON-BOARD TO ANNOUNCE THEY ARE THE BEST AIRLINE IN NORTH AMERICA 2019...HORSE PUCKY!!!"

Last leg missed as well, and had to wait another 4 hours for the last flight out. Just an incredibly frustrating trip"

Despite the captain announcing that WIFI Internet was available for purchase. There was no WIFI on this aircraft. I am a tech guy. The flight attendant said just use your credit card. NO there was no WIFI available."
Pros: "Flight was late leaving and I had a connection flight - they changed my seat so I could be at the front and get my bag easily and run to get my connecting flight. Everyone was very helpful."

They offered very little help, citing that they couldn’t control the weather, meanwhile WestJet is finding & paying for rooms, shuttle buses and taxis to make the delay more tolerable and less stressful. Unknown to me I could not find the flight because it had been changed to an AC reference flight. With a very short time for the connection I did not know where to get my boarding pass as my flight with Lufthansa was nowhere referred to ! Not which gate to go . Why not put it in the ticket that Lufthansa and Air Canada work together and that both flights ref should show !! It would avoid a great deal of anxiety . Only offered 1 round if hot drinks over 9 hours ! Departure delayed by nearly 60 minutes"

Cons: "We were already running late when during take off, one of the engines malfunctioned and we had to emergency break on the runway and go back to the gate. Because it was unexpected, we had to wait even longer for a gate to become available. We then had to re go through customs and get our bags then wait in line again at the counter to schedule our flight for the next day. Thankfully we were given a hotel room and money for food. Very scary experience overall on the runway, but they tried to handle it as smoothly as possible under the unusual circumstances."
Cons: "The prop aircraft that Air Canada uses for the YYC-YEG route are old and cramped. They do nothing for the Air Canada brand."

Cons: "I was stuck in immigration for about an hour. The screening process at this airport is so laborious. You have to wait on a bench until they call your name and they don't care if your flight is about to be boarding. I understand that immigration is necessary but they could at least have people form a queue instead of having us wait for our names to be called. I told them that my flight would be boarding in 25 minutes and they told me "Oh, don't worry, they'll just put you on the next flight". But when I got to my airline to check in, they charged me $150. I needed that $150 to pay some bills when I got back home."

Cons: "The flight was delayed which is fine. I attempted to go to the desk for a food voucher but they didn't have enough workers and were focused on getting people with connections onto another flight and told me to wait. When we reboarded, we were offered vouchers for the airport we were leaving that would expire the next day, which is essentially useless."
Pros: "This flight was cancelled; I don't have any remarkably positive comments about it."
Cons: "This flight was delayed for several hours after we had already boarded (due to maintenance, I think), then was unexpectedly cancelled. Air Canada staff did not communicate with us clearly about the cancellation. We asked several staff members for help and some of them simply walked away; seemed like staff did not know what was going on. We over 90 minutes for in-person assistance, only to be directed to a telephone to re-book our flight. We missed an entire day of our trip to Japan. I'm very disappointed in my experience flying Air Canada."

Pros: "This was the absolute worst experience of my life. Out flight from Calgary to LAX was on the complete other side of the airport than our connector to San Diego. After a delay we had a short amount of time to get to the next flight. We literally were told to just cross the parking lot. Well... that ended up being a 25 minute run across the airport to only have to go thru security again. After navigating construction and parking structures we got to our gate 10 minutes late and would not be let on the flight. There was zero communication, sympathy or help from the United Airlines staff. We were told it was not their problem because we came in through Air Canada- BUT we booked through United! All in all it was an absolute nightmare that ended in us renting a car at 12am and driving back to San Diego with zero compensation from United Airlines"

Cons: "The flight came in 20 minutes late, and managed to leave 1 hour late -- I've never before seen a flight become even MORE late because of the boarding agent. There was no communication whatsoever. There was only one agent working the gate. When it was time for passengers who needed help boarding, he took them back one at a time, leaving the gate completely unstaffed. When he came back, he strolled like there was no urgency whatsoever. Every other airline I'm on tries to speed up boarding if the plane is already late. I was amazed that they didn't even add a second agent to the gate."

Cons: "The lady who checked us in caused a major problem with seating. The person I was traveling with was blind and I was her guide. We specifically asked to be seated together and the lady told me we were. I even confirmed with her and she told me yes again. When we boarded we found out our seats were 17 rows apart. I found out that she did this for the connecting flight as well (not as far apart but still not together) this caused a great deal of stress as I couldn't help her when I needed to."
