Cons: "At the arrival the baggage claim was a mess. Total disorder."
Cons: "Flight delayed four hours. Missed connection. Stuck in El Salvador overnight. Informed that A representative from Avianca would meet me at the airport to take me and others to a pre-arranged hotel. Immigration will not let me pass to baggage until the Avianca representative arrives. Still waiting."
Pros: "We never too this flight as Avianca cancelled our original flight. Your partner in Airfare.com was absolutely zero help in helping us resolve the issue. They told me I had to contact Avianca directly to resolve the matter. The only flights they had available were on different days."
Cons: "I am still trying to get a refund from the airline for a flight that they knew I was never going to take. I will never use any sort of third-party service for booking anything again. What is the point using it if it will be zero help when I did not cause the changes that occurred??"
Cons: "Both my departure AND layover flights were very delayed. And they didn't update the tracking so I could plan accordingly."
Pros: "The food was good, staff in the plane was courteous."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 4 hours. At the time when we were supposed to depart, nobody from the airline was at the counter outside the designated gate. I asked couple of people from Avianca and they told me the flight was departing at the original time, which was not correct. The flight first was pushed to 1 am departure (3 hours delay) and then to 4 am departure (4 hours delay). After several people asked about the flight and an hour after the original departure time, the airline finally had staff at the counter indicating the new departure time and apologizing for the inconvenience. The airline offered a meal at the airport, but I didn't find this through their representatives, but through another passenger. The gate changed about 5 times, which I understand is not under the airline control, but part of this probably could have been prevented with better coordination. My first day in La Paz was horrible, as I couldn't even sleep waiting for my flight to depart. Thank you Avianca!"
Pros: "In Bogota, the attendant rushed me and grand daughter to our connecting flight, very appreciative of that service! We made it with no time to spare, unfortunately no bathroom stop or water. Variety of Entertainment."
Cons: "I requested,water for my 5 year old grand daughter as soon as we boarded. I repeated the request 2 more times. One hour later, we were served drinks with everyone else. I am handicapped and had to walk to the end of the plane to get water the second time! :("
Pros: "A long walk between planes at Bogota airport. I rushed not realizing Bogota was an hour earlier. Typically told the local time in plane after landing.... maybe it was but only in Spanish"
Pros: "Ticket said I had to check in at the airport during my layover while waiting for my second flight. When I tried to check in online, it said there was a problem with my ticket... but luckily staff in the airport managed my baggage transfer quickly and I was able to check in no problem. Unneeded stress, but all worked out in the end."
Cons: "Again no complaints!"
Pros: "The crew was kind and helped with getting bags in the overhead bin."
Cons: "The announcements were all in Spanish and it made it difficult for me to understand what I needed to do. I acknowledge that I was one of a very few passengers who spoke only English, so this was not a problem for many people. The leg room on the flight was incredibly cramped."

Cons: "The lines to check in the luggage in Barranquilla Colombia took long although there was not that many people. Overall not that much time, the boarding process in Boston was fast an friendly ."
