Cons: "When I bought my ticket last Nov , I paid extra to select seats, only to discover no aisle seats available for the 15 hour flight from LAX to Guanghzou. I tried many times to call CSA LA office using toll free and regular number, but could never speak to a human. Last November 7 I missed my flight home due to the Thai King's motorcade causing the road I was on to be closed for more one hour. I arrived at the CNXairport nearly one hour before the scheduled departure time, only to find CSA check in counters already closed. CSA Bangkok made me pay for a one way ticket home on Nov 8 even though all 3 flights were not full. I arrived well I'm advance and checked in. CSA began boarding 30 minutes before the time shown on my boarding pass and closed the aircraft doors shortly aftethe boarding time listed. No wonder I missed my Nov 7 flight! I wrote CSA LA a letter including the receipt for the one way ticket and requested a refund or at least a reply or home call. I never received a reply. I have flown CSA/Delta from Detroit, MI to Chiang Mai, Thailand 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years. It seems they don't care about customer loyalty. In the future CSA will not be my first choice and I will pay somewhat more to fly another airline."

Or, you can see flight details like ETA, altitude, and speed from clicking on the top-right of the page.)"
Cons: "I didn’t like that the flight attendant didn’t even ask me if I wanted to buy a snack pack. I was starving, and had read the menu in their magazine in preparation to order food. She came by and asked me if I wanted something to drink. I said Coke please. She gave me a tiny cup of Coke which contained a little more than a swig of Coke, and then handed me a tiny pack of pretzels before turning away to serve the next guest. This was a 2hr flight. So, no big deal really. I wasn’t going to starve to death. But, I never got to eat. By the time the food service cleared and they were making their rounds to gather trash before landing, it was really too late to address the issue with them. So, I just sucked it up and spent my $9.99 elsewhere."

I asked an attendant if it was okay for me to move and she stated that it was okay, but United switched a lot of passengers flights around so there wouldn't be any empty seats. I was stuck beside the man, all hanging out of my seat, because there wasn't an open seat available. Thank goodness the flight was only 2 hours long. Overall my experience with United was terrible and I will not be flying with them anymore."

Never in my life will I ever fly with united again. My plans got ruined, I was forced to sleep on the cold dirty floor of LAX. This cost me a lot of time and money, and I am upset about it. I will tell all my peers about this horrible experience and encourage them to never fly with united ever again. I do expect some sort of compensation over this horrible experience."

Cons: "Boarded and waited for 35 minutes in 95 degree stifling hot airplane air! The crew made one small apology saying that the captain could not make it cooler until the engines started. EVERYONE was pissed and soaking wet miserably hot. If we were dogs or children in a car this would be a felony. UNACCEPTABLE and INEXCUSABLE!!!! Need to have emergency cooling system... this was almost a health problem for the older folks on the plane."

Cons: "Very rude lady working at United desk at LAX. I am a veteran and I have very bad anxiety and PTSD and my wife (who is active duty) were split up for the flight so we had asked to be seated next to one another since we had picked our seats online prior to flying. The lady was very rude rolling her eyes saying that there was nothing she could do for us besides us asking people to possibly switch seats even though my spouse had the United app open and showed two seats to upgrade too and she didn't even ask if we wanted to upgrade to be next to each other. At this point I had to take my anxiety medication and as we were taking off one of the flight attendants said we could ask about upgrading but yet the lady at the desk said nothing."

Cons: "The seats are a little too close together they do not recline and there are not any monitors on the back of the seats to watch shows or flight path or movies or cartoons on the flights I was on . But overall I liked it the flight went well"
Pros: "Spirit was on schedule, actually... they were a bit early in landing upon arrival in Los Angeles which was amazing. I had a smooth time boarding, finding my seat and waiting for the plane to land."
Cons: "My seat was dis-comfortable... somewhere around the middle part of the back, you could feel the table from the passenger behind me. Not only my chair, but all chairs across my isle had the same ( I asked). Aside from that, I found the staff on board being a bit crude. Otherwise, all was fine."
Cons: "Was stuck in LA because Spirit told me it I shouldnt have a problem making my connections. WRONG. They had no other flights out. I had my 2 young kids with me and we were not going to sleep in the airport, so we had to book a hotel. I lose a night of hotel in seattle and my car rental because i was a no show."

Pros: "I, overall, enjoyed everything. There wasn't one thing to complain about and the negative things I've heard about the airline never happened to me. I only rated the food and entertainment three stars because they didn't exist. If I could have said N/A I would have. They also did a drawing and one lucky passenger won 5000 free miles from the airline. That's pretty awesome!"

Cons: "Did not like the fact that i was on time to my flight but my flight didnt not leave for an hour after it was schedualed due to a "computer" problem. It didnt seem like much was wrong since all the mechanics were just sitting around talking to the flight attendants. Also the plane kept making this unusual grinding sound before we even took off as well as while we werr in the air. The flight attendants were very rude to alot of people, careless with the credit card machine dropped it very roughly on the ground and laughing about it. I am pretty sure the older one of the three was drunk because she reaked of alcohol , I didnt not catch her name but she was the ruddest of them even to an elderly man and a small child. Then Liz was also very rude to customers as well as having an attitude that was as if she didnt carr about her job. The man Gustavo was not to bad he just spoke over the intercom as if he was new. My mother who was traveling with me asked for a seat belt extender twice and the third time was finaly given one and laughed at by the staff and the during the flight she discoverd a roach in the pouch in front of her. Also back to a referance to the bad staff a woman sat next to us asked for a pain killer or some sort and was told " i cant give it to you before we take off, and if i could we dont have anything other than our own"-liz then twords the end the poor girl was sweating drasticaly and holding her stomach and the older attendent whose name i did not get came up and said " WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?" and laughed. Over all i was NOT haooy woth this flight i do understand the fact that i GET WHAT I PAY FOR BUT THAT WAS JUST RIDICULOUS."

Cons: "After unexplained delays the flight was just canceled. Everyone was told to leave the terminal go pick up baggage from a baggage carousel and get in line to re-book. There were 1 to 2 Spirit representatives available to assist in re-booking the entire plane. Getting through to anyone on the phone was impossible. This was on a Tuesday and many were told there were no flights available until Friday. I booked with another airline and 4 hours later when I was checking in for my new flight there were still at least 30 people in the Spirit line waiting to rebook."

Cons: "Flew United to our destination, then spirit home. The overall cost of flying spirit is more than their competitors. They charge for everything! Spirit bag prices: 35$, before online check in only, for up to 40lbs. Price goes up for bags you checkin 24 hours before your trip and goes up again at the desk. United: 25$ For up to 50lbs. United offers a free movie onboard the flight through their app. (download the app before your flight) and complimentary drinks and snacks. Spirit: no movie option, 3$ for a bottle of water! By the time I paid for my tickets, a seat next to my daughter, hot tea on board the flight, and the expensive baggage prices, it would have saved me money to fly United. Also, the kicker, when checking in for my flight we had to wait in line almost an hour because there were only three workers at the check in booths and the line of people there to check in was all the way down the lobby! I showed up 90 minutes before my flight, as recommended for domestic travel, and nearly missed my flight because the check in process took so long! Going through security didn't take as long as the check in did. I also had to pay extra to assure a seat next to my daughter! Are you kidding me! Will never fly spirit again. United did not charge extra to pick my seats. People want to feel they got a good deal, and something for free. Even if it's only a bottle of water on a flight."
