C$ 436 Find Cheap Flights from France to Calgary – Compare and Save

Due to delays at SFO, my WestJet light missed its connecting WestJet flight. If they had held the plane in Calgary for 15 minutes, 2 families with children would not have been stranded in Calgary for more than 24 hours. I understand the need to be on-time, but when it is the same company, you would think they could make a phone call. Or maybe they could go to a higher altitude to make up for lost time? Instead of attempting to put us on another flight, they rescheduled us for the same connecting flight 24 hours later. We then had to scramble to find a hotel, which they state that they were not responsible for since the delay was not their fault and therefore became an additional out of pocket expense for us. The customer service is severely lacking here at this company. They also mentioned that if we purchased our tickets through a 3rd party site (Kayak) versus WestJet directly, that they couldn't help us. Seriously?? Additionally, we lost 2 days of travel and missed out on tours and taxis that were pre-booked. I will not be using WestJet again,

Everyone was extremely friendly and nice, from the front desk to the cabin crew!

This airline would not refund my money and I had a physician note that I could not fly. They are crooks

I like that we landed safely and that my dog was safe underneath as well. Outside of that, we were 45 mins late for a direct flight that is 1.5 hours long. And 2 of my 3 bags did not make the flight. Only my dog was onboard.

Decent entertainment although my wife was not offered any ear buds so couldn’t enjoy. Real issue was the appalling food. Presentation was unacceptable with cheap hard to open packaged bread, plastic cheese again in hard to open shrink wrap, main course in small cardboard box again hard to open, wooden utensils which lack substance making the whole experience poor. Surprised I didn’t cover myself or neighbour as the food moved all over the place. Breakfast calzone was dry and unappealing with the staff basically throwing them around. Very disappointed

It was generally pretty good, but the check-in and boarding process were a little difficult. Check in was in terminal 2F, but there was a shuttle required to get to the gate, which added significant time. The gate was changed 30 minutes before boarding, which took us by surprise - we did not get the notice until boarding had started. The check in line moved very slowly - the agent was friendly, but did not seem very efficient/urgent given the growing line.

Nice to have free food and reasonable beverages. My seat screen was out. Crew tried to reset it but no good. Would fly WestJet again

Awful food and had to ride a bus to board in Paris, delay

4 hour delay leaving Paris. Didn’t get to board through jetway. All of the passengers had to take busses from the terminal to the aircraft. Once we got to Calgary, we had a very long layover that was shortened significantly by the big delay leaving Paris ( when I originally booked the flights, the layover in Calgary was 3 hours, a month before the trip, WestJet changed the second flight which increased the layover to 8 hours!). The flight from Calgary to Nanaimo (ya, the one that they already bumped back by 5 hours) left over an hour late. So, instead of arriving home in Nanaimo at 2 pm, we arrived at 1am. It totally sucked.
