Cons: "My direct flight was cancelled and rebooked with a connecting flight."

Pros: "The staff were great!! Always helpful and very friendly! The added flight from Ottawa to Toronto had fantastic staff as well. Would've been nice to have someone waiting for us at the Ottawa gate as we all missed our flights."
Cons: "The day was extended by 10 hours. It seemed like each time I was redirected including the added flight to Ottawa I was set up to miss a flight. I was sent to Ottawa because there wasn't enough oxygen on the flight to Toronto. 15 passengers missed our flight to Toronto because we left Fredericton late which put us on a new flight 2 hours later, that had mechanical issues so again a missed flight. I am happy they do their due diligence with safety, but it created a long day. They also had to stop food service before they got to me so I wasn't able to get food."
Cons: "lack of real breakfast and few drinks even in premium economy"
Pros: "crew was great, good service"
Cons: "no vegetarian dinner option plastic cup cracked striaght up the side during normal use and spilled red wine on my pants - this happened to other passengers as well"
Pros: "Entertainment options were good and flight was pretty on time."
Cons: "All was ok. Would like more snack options."
Pros: "Friendly crew"
Cons: "Cramped seats"
Cons: "My tv had no sound even after the reset and New headphones."
Cons: "Luggage didn't make it and it took 4 days (out of a 5 day holiday) to get it to me :-("
Cons: "This flight was two and a half hours late. We lost an hour and 45 minutes due to a mechanical problem with our airplane, then lost another 45 minutes due to a storm in Toronto. Air Canada blamed the weather for our late arrival, my missed connection and claimed no responsabilility for the fact that my trip ended up taking more than 24 hours when it was supposed to take about 9 hours. Also, there was the matter of the lost luggage which was a carry on that I accepted to have checked as the Air Canada staff seemed desperate to check our carry ons on a full flight to Toronto from Montreal. I ended up spending the night in the Vancouver airport without access to my luggage."
Cons: "One hour late"
Cons: "Flight was delayed"
Pros: "Aircraft was clean. Convenient connecting gates. Flight duration."
Cons: "- Poor quality food - Extremely poor inflight entertainment - Flight delayed no real explanation provided"
Cons: "The flight was late."
Pros: "This flight was cancelled; I don't have any remarkably positive comments about it."
Cons: "This flight was delayed for several hours after we had already boarded (due to maintenance, I think), then was unexpectedly cancelled. Air Canada staff did not communicate with us clearly about the cancellation. We asked several staff members for help and some of them simply walked away; seemed like staff did not know what was going on. We over 90 minutes for in-person assistance, only to be directed to a telephone to re-book our flight. We missed an entire day of our trip to Japan. I'm very disappointed in my experience flying Air Canada."
Pros: "I wish my INTERNATIONAL flight on Air Canada had been as nice as my flights within Canada and the US. The international flight had no screen to watch movies, etc. theis flight within Canada was very pleasant. The boarding delay was bad, but the flight was fine."
Cons: "Crowded space at Montreal airport and long delay.seemed chaotic"
Pros: "The flight crew were wonderful to interact with and really helpful in accommodating my disabilities. Dinner was mediocre but at least some was available, which I didn't expect on an overnight flight starting after dark. ("Breakfast" was a slice of really tasty banana bread but nothing else.) I really appreciated the presence of outlets and USB ports for charging electronic devices, and that the seats had adjustable headrest flaps. These are essential features on long flights!"
Cons: "It's almost impossible to sleep in economy class seats, even with the adjustable headrests. I recognize that economy is supposed to be the "no frills" class of travel but sleep is not a luxury. Sleep is a basic human need, like food and oxygen. I don't actually believe that offering better accommodations for everyday passengers (off whom the bulk of airline profits are made) is financially unfeasible or unreasonable."
Pros: "The plane itself was fairly comfortable, and every seat had its own TV/movie screen, which was nice."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed six hours and fifteen minutes, and the entire six hours and fifteen minutes was filled with poor communication. No one could tell us what was going on. There was rarely even an Air Canada representative at our gate's desk area. We were given nothing to remotely compensate for our very long delay aside from a few thanks and a puny bag of pretzels."
Pros: "There were a couple guys sitting behind us who kept asking the stewardesses for more beer and more wine. And the stewardesses kept giving them for what they asked (free). These guys became loud - as drunks do. It was annoying as we couldn't hear the movie we were watching because those guys were so loud. Any alcohol being served out of meal time either should be charged or put a limit of two max."
Pros: "All was well. Thanks"
Cons: "Terrible in Rome, poor organization."
Pros: "The crew was amazing."
Cons: "The flight was outrageously hot the entire time. There were no A/C vents above the seats, probably because the dated plane may have been built before temperature control. It was honestly almost unbearable."
Cons: "Not aconfortable plane"
Pros: "The one good thing about this flight was it wasn't fully booked, so I managed to get an entire row to myself, that and the food wasn't bad, and movie selection was alright."
Cons: "There were major delays taking off, and landing. I was supposed to have about a 3 hour layover in Toronto, due to multiple delays, flight plan changes, and mechanical failures I ended up getting booted from the 2nd leg of the flight, and having to spend an unanticipated night in Toronto. To begin, my 3pm flight from Seoul to Toronto was delayed to 6pm (the day before the flight was even scheduled, and for no apparent reason.) I wasn't even notified of this change, the only reason I found out was I tried checking in online the afternoon of the day before my flight (only because I remembered to do so myself, never received a check in reminder notice) and found out of the change. So my connecting flight had been bumped, and my ETA to my destination changed. This wasn't terrible, just an annoyance. Second, the flight was stuck at the departure gate for over an our. I'm not 100% sure why, however, after delay after delay, and then a flight plan change, we finally took off over an hour late, this too was was an annoyance, an nothing notable. It wasn't until we landed, where we were delayed on the tarmac for yet over another hour, due to mechanical issues that was the problem. We were stuck for about an hour (the pilot promising we'd be moving in "just 5 minutes", every 10-15 minutes) before the pilot decided to order buses to unload us, to then turn them away once they arrived so that way we could get towed to the gate. It then took an additional 40 minutes for the plane to get hitched, and towed to the gate. Once we arrived at the gate, I tried running through the airport to catch my connecting flight (which I had 10 minutes till boarding, and 40 minutes till departure) only to find out that I had been bumped from my connecting flight (despite having no checked baggage) and would have to stay the night in Toronto. Apparently this is not a rare occurrence for Air Canada to screw up flights. There were other people both on other original fights, as well as mine who were bumped from their connecting flights to various destinations, as well as having lost luggage. Again, individually these weren't exactly huge issues, collectively, they're the reason this has probably been my first and last time flying Air Canada."
Pros: "Boarding process was good"
Cons: "No free snacks offered"
Pros: "The ONLY part of flying Air Canada that I used to like was your partnership with SAS, over the past ten years I have lost more airtravel points through Star Alliance troubles than I could have made in the decade before. Luckily when I fly from my birth place of St. John's NL, you're ground staff are the absolute best! I can give "shout outs" to each and every one of them. From those ready for retirement to the new staff just in from "who knows where", they get the whole "customer service" priority that your airline needs to focus on. Your management in Halifax "Sharon" is out of this world too, other than that whether through Lufthansa, Air Canada or anywhere I would travel, seeing that red leaf on your wing would make me ashamed to be Canadian."
Cons: "I paid extra for a seat to ensure leg room, all I got was ear ache! The flight - although half empty had no place for my briefcase, but I was "ordered" to push my sealskin bag under the dirty greasy seat in front of me. When I requested they store it upfront for take-off & landing - the french female steward started flirting with the man sitting next to me and didn't even offer a response. When drinks came around - I was handed a half empty glass with juice on it's exterior and borrowed a napkin from the next seat. Later I did get a napkin "thrown gently" over the person she enjoyed speaking with. I was happy to wait until connecting passengers disembarked before the local traffic, but was appalled when the more senior female steward stopped a local passenger who I know has anxiety about flying - to insist she let the other passengers off first. Air Canada needs to be educated on what human behaviour entails, before they can graduate to customer service. Together with my first name, you can know my last name is Floyd"
Pros: "Seats are comfortable and I had plenty of leg room."
Cons: "No snacks offered with drink. Boarding wasn't well organized. Toronto airport is horrible... long lines at customs and security caused me to miss my connection for the second time in a row."
Pros: "Air canada needs a serious serious overhaul of the way they treat their customers especially those working at the Toronto airport I find their employees have an "entitlement" mentality that other carriers do not Customer service seems to be a priority not talking to your coworkers about the weekend while serving your customers"
Cons: "There was one employee who suggested to take an earlier flight and was very helpful Little things go along way"
Cons: "Staff was rude. And I was seated next to an alchoholic"
Pros: "The crew was really nice and on top of things. Prompt service and very pleasant."
Cons: "The wifi movies and tv were not captioned in English for the deaf and hard of hearing. Accessibility was not provided."
Pros: "Flight attendant, as with all the AC flights, was great!"
Cons: "Seats were old. Not great for business but it was a smaller plane and older, so understandable. My United Frequent Flyer number was not used on this flight and the counter agent did not know how to add my number so I never got credit for the miles."
Cons: "I almost missed my connecting flight due to AC delaying departure in Vancouver. I received no solid information from the stewardess on the flight on whether the connecting plane in Toronto would wait. I mean, really. There was never any explanation as to why the Vancouver flight was late either."
Pros: "The flight was less than an hour. So I don't expect anything."
Pros: "Lots of leg room. Friendly and helpful staff. Smooth flight and comfortable seats."
Cons: "We didn't like all the walking to get to and from the plane in Terminal 2, Heathrow. Anywhere else in the world would transport people by bus if it was going to be a twenty minute walk to the departure gate."
Cons: "I didn't like that there were no screens to watch and I didn't know I needed the app on my phone to watch movies until I was already in e plane and too late download it."
Pros: "Boarding was pretty quick, efficient, on time"
Cons: "Seats had least legroom of any plane I can remember. I'm not that tall and my knees were in the seat pocket the whole 5 hr flight. Also, the seats could stand to be a lot cushier. I felt like I was sitting on a piece of cardboard after the first 2 hours."
Cons: "Too much late. I missed all my itenerary planned by Campus France. I had to pay for a taxi and a new train ticket."
Pros: "Good onboard entertainment"
Cons: "Overhead cabin extremely small compare to US planes"
Pros: "Great wifi ap entertainment feature"
Cons: "Being delayed twice- once for late passengers then for door problems"
Pros: "No hassle about size and dimensions of carry on luggage - yeah! On time departures and even early arrivals! Very polite and great customer service! Enjoyed the bi lingual (english/french) aspect of announcements! good movie/entertainment choices!"
Pros: "The flight crew was amazing. I have been flying internationally since I was 2 and this was one of the best crews I have had since TWA closed up. They were policy, considerate and very friendly. After 2 weeks abroad I was dreading spending 8 hours on a flight home but as soon as we boarded I knew we had a great crew which we all know can make or break a flight. Once beverage service started they gave us both a huge glass of ice and can of soda which we were very grateful for after a long night and early morning. The flight attendants stop by frequently to see if we needed anything, I would definitely fly Air Canada again."
Cons: "Cabin space was small and uncomfortable. The individuals in front and behind us were very inconsiderate which of course Air Canada can't control. Food was hot but not necessarily tasty."
