Cons: "The day was extended by 10 hours. It seemed like each time I was redirected including the added flight to Ottawa I was set up to miss a flight. I was sent to Ottawa because there wasn't enough oxygen on the flight to Toronto. 15 passengers missed our flight to Toronto because we left Fredericton late which put us on a new flight 2 hours later, that had mechanical issues so again a missed flight. I am happy they do their due diligence with safety, but it created a long day. They also had to stop food service before they got to me so I wasn't able to get food."
Cons: "We were sitting in the exit row 27 and it was extremely cold to the point where my 79 year old dad had to put on a sweater and a jacket for it to be barely tolerable. "we froze". After numerous requests to raise the temperature we gave up."
Cons: "Headphone socket broken on this older airplane. Only purchased food available so n/a."
Pros: "A customer service agent rebooked us on a flight 2/4 via Boston to YYZ."
Cons: "The rebooked flight was also cancelled and the counter staff in Boston were not helpful. We were stranded in Boston and never made it to Toronto. We had to find our own way back to NY Air Canada, meanwhile,was still selling seats at exorbitant prices while thousands of passengers were left stranded I travel several times a month and will ensure that I avoid travel with Air Canada. I will also let met friends and colleagues know not to use Kayak or fly with Air Canada. Because I booked with Kayak, Air Canada would not resolve the problem"

Cons: "Plane was late leaving. Food was served around 2-2:30 am. Realize this budget but still 750$... Movies - player kept stalling Check in ... Crazy on bag drop at check in #5 lane in departures in Toronto. Perhaps one more staff at high volume to make sure the folk in the bag drop line actually have bag tags. Travel to same route last year at this time and it was the same experience."

Cons: "With an hour delay out of Paris due to waiting for missing aircraft flight documents to be completed and delivered to the airplane on the holding ramp, we ended up arriving in Toronto an hour late. With only an original connection time of 90 minutes, it was not possible for me to make it thru Canadian and US customs to the connection gate. I was to learn that no other connection to a Kansas City was available until much later in the afternoon / early evening. As a result, I ended up arriving in Kansas City 6 (six) hours later than originally scheduled, three quarters of the time it took to travel from Paris to Toronto. To say the least , I was not at all thrilled having lost that time."

Cons: "Six years ago we flew Air Canada from Athens to LAX with no seat back screens. We thought they were in the process of updating. Here we are six years later and still no seat back screens on an 11 hour flight. What are they thinking? Food and service were also very mediocre. Will not fly Air Canada again."

Pros: "The ONLY part of flying Air Canada that I used to like was your partnership with SAS, over the past ten years I have lost more airtravel points through Star Alliance troubles than I could have made in the decade before. Luckily when I fly from my birth place of St. John's NL, you're ground staff are the absolute best! I can give "shout outs" to each and every one of them. From those ready for retirement to the new staff just in from "who knows where", they get the whole "customer service" priority that your airline needs to focus on. Your management in Halifax "Sharon" is out of this world too, other than that whether through Lufthansa, Air Canada or anywhere I would travel, seeing that red leaf on your wing would make me ashamed to be Canadian."
Cons: "I paid extra for a seat to ensure leg room, all I got was ear ache! The flight - although half empty had no place for my briefcase, but I was "ordered" to push my sealskin bag under the dirty greasy seat in front of me. When I requested they store it upfront for take-off & landing - the french female steward started flirting with the man sitting next to me and didn't even offer a response. When drinks came around - I was handed a half empty glass with juice on it's exterior and borrowed a napkin from the next seat. Later I did get a napkin "thrown gently" over the person she enjoyed speaking with. I was happy to wait until connecting passengers disembarked before the local traffic, but was appalled when the more senior female steward stopped a local passenger who I know has anxiety about flying - to insist she let the other passengers off first. Air Canada needs to be educated on what human behaviour entails, before they can graduate to customer service. Together with my first name, you can know my last name is Floyd"

Cons: "No snacks offered with drink. Boarding wasn't well organized. Toronto airport is horrible... long lines at customs and security caused me to miss my connection for the second time in a row."
Pros: "Air canada needs a serious serious overhaul of the way they treat their customers especially those working at the Toronto airport I find their employees have an "entitlement" mentality that other carriers do not Customer service seems to be a priority not talking to your coworkers about the weekend while serving your customers"

Cons: "The flight was considerably delayed, so that we missed our connection, the airport personnel at Newark sent us all over the place attempting to pass off the problem onto somebody else- even encouraging passengers to go to Montreal and "figure it out from there." Bags were taken off the plane and then put back on...the subsequent flight (the next day) was also delayed, and required half he plane to sprint through Montreal to their connections. It was not worth it. Especially considering I tried to call Air Canada for some of my refund and the number they gave me was a fax line."
Cons: "I will never fly Air Canada between Detroit and Toronto again. Both ways the crew looked exhausted and like they were rather be anyplace but working our flight. Both times they took our carry ons without giving us a choice. For our flight out this was a stressful nuisance because we had to catch a connecting overseas flight. This involved my husband and son going to baggage claim and then having to go back through customs and TSA. The whole point of carry ons is to avoid this. Luckily we didn't miss our international flight but not a good way to begin a trip of a lifetime. Flight was completely uncomfortable and it seemed like no one cared. Should have driven"

Cons: "The gate signage and control at Toronto was not good at all! I accidentally got onto the wrong plane!!! Luckily I didn't fall asleep immediately and heard them announce prior to takeoff that they were going to Nashville, and also luckily the Syracuse plane had not taken off yet either."

Movies were OK. Mostly old hat. Bring your own I-pod. They only come around once with beverages so you have to ask."

Cons: "Due to Air Canada's I missed my flight to Amsterdam. I missed out on a day of sightseeing and having fun and Amsterdam instead I spent a day in Toronto. I was able to get on a flight 24 hours later. This missing connection happens routinely with Air Canada, for some reason they have not managed to fix the error."

Cons: "We didn't like all the walking to get to and from the plane in Terminal 2, Heathrow. Anywhere else in the world would transport people by bus if it was going to be a twenty minute walk to the departure gate."

I classify them as the worst airline I've ever used in my 30th ears of travel and if they are the only airline on earth I rather never travel"
