Cons: "My Mon couldn't fly because I never have noticed that she needed a Canadian Visa. She came from Mexico with her American visa and the experience buying a ticket with this airline was a nightmare."

Pros: "The food was very good and they serve drinks and water many times. The crew members were very efficient."

Pros: "Very good food. Great range of entertainment -- much better than United, which last year gave no selection for the long rides between Beijing and Chicago"
Cons: "Boarding process. We had four flights on Air Canada, and were put in the last boarding group on every one of them, which makes it hard to get overhead space. It seems statistically impossible for them to assign the worst boarding group to the same people every time, but they did it."

Pros: "Big and spacious plane, plenty of room although room for carry on bags was limited."
Cons: "It took a long time for the plane to take off and we didn't have much communication as to why this was happening."

Pros: "The only positive was the initial price, but even after opting for a price increase to lessen travel time failed with the delays and flight changes."
Cons: "3 out of 4 flights were either delayed, changed, boarding radically changed. An attendant actually had the audacity to sarcastically ask who I was voting for (president) once he new I was American. The customer service rep in Toronto further blamed us for not checking flights 48 hrs in advance, although I checked in 20 hrs earlier and received false flight info. The crew also stated in flight "that those continuing on the the USA, did NOT have to complete customs declaration forms" ....WRONG!"

Pros: "The passenger beside me was nice."
Cons: "Week long convention and showed up 2 hours early. Fell asleep at the gate. Last flight of the night and I was the ONLY person around. None of the 5 staff members thought to wake the middle aged lady asleep by herself. Woke in a panic and they said my flight left a few mins ago. Said they paged me. When I took off my hearing aids they all stood there stunned. They put me on the next flight home 12 hours later. Asked for my bags, no one took them off the plane. Against policy and illegal. Had to sleep at the airport. Very poor experience with the Air Canada staff in Las Vegas."

Cons: "The process to get thru customs was horrible. If there would have been more people working the wait would not have been so bad."

Pros: "EXCELLENT LEG ROOM AND SPACE"
Cons: "THE FOOD SUCKS....EAT A DECENT MEAL BEFORE YOU BOARD. THANK GOD I WASNT HUNGRY OR I WOULD HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED."

Pros: "the flight was on time, without any delay"
Cons: "Variety of movies needs to be improved asap A bag of Pretzels or any type of snack would be a plus"

Pros: "Great service (Business Class)"
Cons: "Delayed 1.5 hours due to fueling issue in YYJ (not Air Canada's fault) Breakfast (business class) never varies and is getting somewhat boring"

Cons: "The person checking me in to getting seat assignment must have been having a bad day. She was downright rude."

Pros: "Boarding went smoothly. The entertainment (monitors in the seat-backs) was excellent. The crew was friendly and helpful. The food was much better than I expected on a flight."
Cons: "I flew economy, so I didn't expect luxury, but that's a very tight fit for an 8-hour flight. I understand that industry standards have gone in this direction and that it's necessary to remain competitive, but at some point the industry needs to take into account the actual size of passengers. What are the seats now, about 16" wide? With so little leg room that I couldn't cross my legs if the seat in front of me was reclined. I'm a slim woman, about 130 lbs., and I was very (very) uncomfortable. I can hardly imagine the discomfort for the poor woman next to me (a plump post-middle-aged lady). I would definitely fly Air Canada again, as the staff was great and the overall experience was good. But I'm looking forward to the end of this trend of reducing space per passenger."

Cons: "Trying to take off twice and warning lights came on. We had to sit in the plane for an extra 1.5hrs and an additional hour in the terminal. Third time was a charm"

Pros: "Good selection of viewing content. Wide variety. Like the NFB channel."
Cons: "The food was the worst plane food I have eaten in 25 years of traveling. It wasn't even edible!! Overcooked, dry, tasteless, awful food! Shocking at how bad it was. Bathrooms were very dirty right from beginning of flight."

Pros: "nothing"
Cons: "everything-the food is horrible, no space, no monitor so what do you do on an 8 hour flight overseas? When we booked, we were not told that we would be flying Air Canada Rouge, but were told we would be flying a different type of plane with amenities. Talk about Bait and Switch. Will avoid Air Canada in the future."

Cons: "Very long line to get to security"

Pros: "See my response to the trip from Denver to Barcelona. I'm not repeating myself. Terrible plain, terrible food. Cabin crew not as bad as gong from Toronto to Barcelona."
Cons: "See my response to the trip from Denver to Barcelona."

Pros: "There was entertainment on board although it was very limited. All of the crew were very helpful and professional."

Pros: "Because of a plane malfunction I ended up meeting 3 very good friends. The flight was okay"

Pros: "The crew in Orlando was efficient and kind to waiting passengers. We were boarded and in the air in record time. Surprisingly, my baggage was unloaded in Toronto in record time. I would hope that that it always the case."

Cons: "Flight delayed for no good reason"

Pros: "There was nothing to like about the flight, other than the fact that the crew was compatent."
Cons: "As far as I'm concerned , I didn't fly Air Canada, I flew Air Canada Rouge. Air Canada Rouge is a VERY poor representative of the Air Canada brand. There is NO legroom!!! My seat mate, who is Canadian told me that they reduced the distance by 3 inches from the Air Canada standard. I am not a tall person, I only have a 30 inch inseam, but my knees were touching the seat in front of me. Anyone over 6 feet tall would be VERY uncomfortable."

Cons: "From LGA to Toronto the input jack for the headphones was all messed up and I kept having to fiddle with it to get good sound."

Pros: "Everything was well organized and we were able to depart sooner than scheduled."
Cons: "There were some items on the menu that were not actually available."

Pros: "The flight from Tel Aviv to Toronto was excellent and the food was great. I'm definitely using Air Canada in the future!"

Cons: "No free movies. Tight leg room for an international flight. No complimentary beverages. What a huge difference from Lufthansa which we used to fly to Europe. Would avoid Air Canada Rouge of overseas travel."

Pros: "Everything"

Pros: "Good landing ahead of scheduled arrival time"
Cons: "Airplane is Too small :)"

Pros: "frankfort to Toronto was Lufthansa. Excellent."

Pros: "Comfy seat, good food, great attentive service and wonderful safe take offs and landings! Also we received extra treats for their inaugural flight from Brussels to Toronto."
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "Two bags plus a carry-on."

Pros: "The crew appeared overworked and understaffed. I feel that there should have been at least 2 to 4 more to help with the large number of passengers on the plane. It appeared to be more than full and perhaps extra seating was added."
Cons: "The plane was overcrowded. Seating was extremely uncomfortable and much too narrow. I am a relatively thin person but the person to my right was large and kept on pushing into me during the entire flight. Plus it took us over an hour and 30 minutes before we left the airport because we had to wait until the entire plane off boarded before a wheelchair could be brought for my wife. After the wheelchair was brought and we picked up our luggage, (2 bags), which by the way were the last 2 on the carousel, there was only one line through customs for people with special needs. By the time we left the airport I spent at least 45 minutes trying to find the cab which had been sent from Rochester, NY to pick us up and when I finally found him he wasn't allowed to stop in the taxi lane to pick us up in the taxi lane because he wasn't an authorized cab in spite of the fact that I told the security person that my wife was in a wheelchair and the weather was close to 0 degrees celsus and it was snowing."

Pros: "My legs barely fit, but it was possible to sit without my knees hitting the seat"
Cons: "No movies, no air vents, reading lights only work sometimes"

Cons: "Late boarding not enough options on their menu since were I got to my hotel at 12:30 after my car rental to listen to please overall how late they were"

Pros: "Had extra legroom but paid for it"

Pros: "Air Canada has the best food, most leg room for economy class and super efficient. I will be using Air Canada often in the future."

Cons: "I didn't like the fact that my flight from the United Kingdom came in late and that resulted to missing my flight to Indianaplis and ruined my entire plan for the day."

Pros: "Flight attendants were very accommodating despite the full flight. It was comfortable and we received updates from the pilot and flight crew throughout the trip. Love Air Canada!"

Pros: "I had a missed connection due to a problem with the US visa on arrival system being down (mainly my fault for not being adequately prepared). Air Canada staff were very helpful and courteous, they rebooked my flight for the next day and helped me find a hotel for the night. Greatly appreciated!"

Cons: "My 10:10 flight got cancelled snd AC put us on an earlier flight so that my layover was over 6 hours in Toronto to catch my flight to Tokyo Haneda. That was very painful."

Pros: "Crew was very pleasant and helpful."
Cons: "Flight was late without explanation making it difficult to make the connecting flight. The Toronto airport is a mess - avoid it if at all possible (I.e. Don't fly Air Canada)."

Pros: "Air Canada service was wonderful for the Mtl-Toronto keg of the journey. Comfortable, efficient and pleasant"
Cons: "the electronic self booking is a bit unclear and stressfull. More staff on hand to assist and help with questions would be good."

Pros: "the seats reclined better than most in my experience"
Cons: "it was too hot. the vegetarian food was vegan. it was not filling - very small portion and no protein or fats to make you full for dinner! flight was delayed about 1 3/4 hours"

Pros: "Overall fair experience."

Cons: "Flight delayed after boarding for 2 1/2 hours. Gate agent was condescending. Gate agent trapped us behind hate when trying to leave delayed flight to catch another leaving on time. They weren't accommodating to providing a refund or better flight. Worst airline experience I've ever had."

Pros: "This was my first Air Canada flight, and I was beyond impressed with the service overall. The plane was extremely nice and very spacious. The flight crew was very attentive and helpful, and had great attitudes. I had trouble with my entertainment screen early on, and a flight attendant went out of her way to reset and make sure it was working for me. The 12 hour flights both ways were comfortable and enjoyable."
Cons: "I honestly can't say anything negative about this experience!"

Pros: "Free wifi in airport, easy boarding and disembarking"
Cons: "Limited movies on wifi, limited sandwiches"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Air Canada service"

Pros: "Overall the flight was good. The crew was informative and attentive."
