3 houra delays and no storm!
On the first leg Flight 720: 1. A Black man sitting behind me was challenged (and humiliated) by a Porter agent who came on the plane before leaving the gate, that he was sitting in the wrong seat. It turns out the agent was looking at his boarding pass for the NEXT next connection flight. That delayed the take off by 10 minutes. 2. Then while taxing away from the gate for takeoff, another Black man on the same flight whose mother tongue is not English nor French, did not understand that he had to remove his earbuds for the takeoff. He said he was confused by the instructions, so the the pilot decided he was "non-compliant" and returned the plane to the gate to have him removed from the flight, bring police on the plane. I am sure he lost a lot of money and will have future difficulty flying in North America. That delayed our flight another 40 minutes, and many of us missed our connecting flights in Toronto. I just have two wonder if a white passenger would have been given the benefit of the doubt.
Was not happy that the flight kept on getting delayed a 1/2 hr for a few hrs
I could not believe that the wine and beer were free
I did not like the landing. Too much delay and I was concerned that I might have missed my next flight to Newark
The waiting lounge was nice and complemented with refreshments
When I got to Toronto I was directed to the wrong lounge for a while before I asked and was redirected to the correct lounge
