The flight attendant said that it’s always warm in that part of the cabin, but in all my years of flying (pretty frequently for the past 8yrs), I’ve never had this issue. If anything, it’s usually on the cooler side. Regardless of the reason, I was in a premium seat (paid extra $99) and to be so uncomfortable for this 5hr the red eye flight was super disappointing."

Cons: "I was given an option to change my seat at the check in kiosk, after selecting a different seat it told me they could not change my seat at that time. As soon as I boarded I asked one of the flight crew in the back if it was possible to purchase a cheese platter as I was really looking forward to it and was already hungry since I was trying to save room for it. She explained it was a first come first serve... By the time the lady got to the back she stood there for a while gossiping with another traveler without even glancing over at us and was holding our commentary cookies in her hand. She finally acknowledged us and when I asked for the cheese platter I was informed they had sold out... At that point I was HUNGRY and tired and honestly irritated that we had to sit there for several minutes without being acknowledged so she could gossip with a passenger. I ended up having to buy a box that I really didn't like but I didn't want to be cranky cuz I was hungry and I needed to eat something. Also, I had a middle seat ALL the way in the back of the plane next to a crying baby, which I couldn't change even though I was "given the option to." I have a difficult time flying if I can't see out the window. That just added to the irritation of the situation :/ I fly Alaska a lot and I was surprised at how bad this flight experience was..."

Cons: "We were on row 33 d,e, & f. Seats d & e would not recline. The button on seat d was broken. As annoying as that was, there were 3 unaccompanied minors sitting in front of us. Two of them were fine. The third one on the isle seat was up and down, in and out of his seat the majority of the flight. I couldn't sleep. This was my second flight of the day after staying in Seattle for 7 hours waiting between my flights. The kid was loud and it seemed like the crew couldn't correct him. He just did as he pleased. I wasn't the only passenger who had a problem with him. And apparently the crew did as well. I paid a lot of money for that flight and he ruined it for me. If they are going to fly children like that, the crew should be able to correct them so the other passengers can have a pleasant flight."

Then to top it all off, I was prevented , by an Alaska man from taking my suitcase after arriving from Kelowna, BC into Seattle, in taking my 6:45 flight to Boise though I had a half hour to get thru TSA. Upon rebooking a flight, it became apparent I would be on the last flight into Boise but that was delayed 4 hours! The topping on the cake was my luggage had 4 hours to get on board BuT did not get there. Why must it be inspected twice? My luggage was still in Seattle Jan. 5. It finally came in late, by that time we drove back to Hailey, Idaho. Thankfully my luggage arrived by 1:00 am Jan. 6 ! Sorry, I was not impressed. On one flight Dec. 18 , to BC, Canada, the Alaskan stewardess said she was sorry but could not even offer us water, reallly? Susan Teed"

She barely slept the whole flight and I had a stuardis in a red dress who whem I asked for for a beverage made it seem like I asked for it right now. Didn't say a word Else to me until it was time to land and my daughter had just fell asleep. She told me. I had to take her out of the baby carrier. My daughter needed a diaper change and there were no places to change her. I tried to change her by the door really fast. The stuardis said no go change in a bathroom I asked which one had a changing station they said none and to just change in my lap. Plus my car seat was broke when I got it back."

Cons: "where should i start? my flight was delayed leaving NC to ATL. after standing in line for over an hr trying to speak to someone about the issue. i was notified on my phone i could keep my current flight or rebook of course i wanted to keep my current flight since it was my birthday weekend. i then called delta (in nc) for help since they told us we wouldnt make our 1030 flight and we might have to stay in a hotel that night until we could rebook the flight. not cool! i was told by a person (in nc)about what i should do once landed in ATL. they were beyond rude. they turned their backs or gave half answers. when asked about the hotel for the night they told me they werent going to handle that and i had to pay for a hotel AFTER i was just told by a delta agent that if i had to stay overnight my hotel was going to be covered. i then again called a delta agent in ATL after being informed that my status on the stand by list wasnt activated and i had less than 10 mins to make it to the next terminal and try to get activated and i would probably not get onto that flight to leave ATL. we were told that we had to stay in the terminal that night. my whole trip could have been ruined from the start from the flight being delayed in NC to talking to rude delta agents in NC and ATL. my flight status being one thing and then finding out it was something else. i never had to deal with something like this."

They also lied to me about taking care of my other friends who were coming from the same connecting flight as me but was hung up in customs. My friends were traveling with small children but were denied entry to the gate because they were a little behind. I could keep going but never again on Air Canada!!!! Never!!!"

Cons: "if the connecting flight from Vancouver to Toronto was not 5+ hrs, and then told one of my luggege was lost, from Vancouver, to go though Security/Immigration and had to wait was not good. It was found and I was able to get to the gate but only 20 min. left... because the flight was late arriving from Montreal. Phew! Two customers had been waiting for a baggage for 24 hrs, there, totally frustrated. Compared to their ssituation, mine was not so serious? Two men at counter were not sympathetic, no emotions showing. Until I paid attention to their problem, a woman showed up, tried to amend the situation. AirCanada's corporate image was damaged by those two men."
Cons: "They had nothing together. My first flight was delayed so I got in late and my connecting flight was rescheduled for 5 hours later. Their "free meal voucher" for rescheduling amounts to one slice of pizza and no drink. The airport then lost my checked bag and kept me waiting in one room for 4 of those hours to where I was still rushing to catch my next flight. Air Canada then forgot to assign a plane to my new second flight so I waited another 2 hours to board. Once boarded, the airline made us wait another hour while they loaded bags, then unloaded some of the wrong bags thy put on. They then tacked 25 minutes in the wrong direction and we went all the way back. I have never seen so many people rushing the customer service desks because they missed their connecting flights, throughout the entire time I was stuck in Toronto. Additionally, their "in flight movie system" doesn't work unless you rent one of their iPads. It prompts you to download Java Flash player even if you already have it instead of asking to run it. Then once you allow it, you get a 1-2 second animation then the movie breaks. There are similar errors with their music and tv show features, I tried all of these in my laptop and phone."

Missed the flight to Toronto, checked at the counter and was told did not need to pick up my luggage until I got to Atlanta. Well at Toronto, my luggages didn't go through. I had to pick them up and went thru immigration on the USA side again. Missed my flight again! It was so frustrating except all the employees were very nice and helpful."

The airlines apparent made several changes between my trip and I was threaten with additional bag fees when my ticket was very clear for two carry-ons and to checked bags, which also confirmed when I confirmed my seat request. After I was required to check my bags, I realized my earbuds were in the bag and the flight attendant did not give me a pair and actually told me I could purchase a pair...REALLY!I just did a 15 hour flight from Dubai, you were delayed by 2 hours on my last connecting flight and you can't comp a pair of .25 cent earbuds."

Cons: "Lines were confusing to me. Kiosk machines for boarding passes clogged lines. Only 3 staff working security lines after a long weekend! 3 sets of married couples that I knew of couldn't be seated together! Airport personnel not very helpful and rather cranky!"
Pros: "The customer service desk at Lufthansa/Air Canada did help us set up additional flights for the next day."
Cons: "Since we missed our first flight to Toronto, we missed this flight to Atlanta."

Pros: "I bought Business Class because the rate was very competitive. Seat was comfortable enough. Flight departed nearly an hour late, but arrived early at the destination, which helped."
Cons: "The flight attendants in first class honestly seemed overworked and had no time for anyone. A request for a mixed whiskey beverage brought a Diet Coke instead. The attendant didn't seem to care at all when the mistake was pointed out, nor did she fix it. Snacks and drinks were essentially flung at us with the care of throwing slop at farm animals. Which pretty much describes the quality of the meal."

Pros: "The comfort of a Dash 8 was surprising. The seats have a suitable amount of leg room which I'm actually scared to mention so they don't add an extra seat to each row to take it away. Not too much, not too small, just right for a 6 foot man to not have his knees pressed against the seat in front for the whole ride"
Cons: "Where to start? Dash 8's shake, rattle and roll for the whole trip. Felt like we could fall out of the sky at any time. Staff don't care. Split our group after rescheduling due to aircraft issues despite seats available on both connectors. Said to wait until next stop to fix. Next stop said nothing they can do since we checked a bag. Put 2 hours between arrivals just because they can. Blamed it on the computer. Did provide a $10 meal voucher. Good to know Air Canada values my total trip delay time at $2/hr"
