2 hours flight delayed ,crew was awful and rude. Not great customer service Not recommend United airlines

Cons: "Ensure parents are being honest about the ages of their children. Couple next to me had a wailing, thrashing, kicking, screeching, punching 3 year old who should have had her own seat instead of sitting on her parent’s laps for the duration of the 5 hour flight."

Cons: "I would have liked if the crew kept us a bit more in the loop about what's going on - I took a Southwest flight earlier the same day, and the crew all seemed to be having a lot more fun than the crew on United. Which is more likely more a management/structure issue of United than the crew themselves"

Cons: "The crew was not very nice, the flight had duplicate seat bookings, attendants kept bumping my seat and waking me up, the crew was not strict on take off/landing policies, so the guy in front of me was basically in my lap when we landed."

Cons: "Flight was late close to one hour because of catering. No prior notices - we were left to stand for more than an hour in front of gate. Surely and nasty elderly citizens made up the flight crew including pilots. About the same service you get from a Siberian gulag prison guard. No communications from pilots. Despite delays and turbulence we were kept in the dark."
Cons: "Told the gate attendant I was flying home for my dad's funeral and if there was anything they could do to move my seat from a middle seat to aisle seat he said not without charging me but I could ask when I boarded the plane. Once the doors were closing I asked the flight attendant if I could move up one row to an open aisle seat she said no not without charging me. I said there's no one in that whole row and I'm flying home for my dad's funeral and could they make an exception I would show them the obituary and funeral brochure if needed I just wanted some space. She got another gate attendant I explained the same thing and he said no. He said the seat will have to remain empty if I wasn't willing to pay for it. I told him r u serious? U r that inconsiderate and heartless as a company. I've already booked 2 flights w United and u can't make an exception as I was in tears he said no nothing. And walked off the flight. This airline is heartless and deserves all the bad publicity it's getting. Horrible horrible service. And the flight attendant Beth did nothing about it after he left."
Pros: "I fly about four times a year if not more. Always delays, missing my connections or running like a maniac trying to get to my connection. BUT. This was the first time in a very long time that I actually boarded on time."

The two/ plus hours in the plane , not one cracked a smile..One,literally threw a tiny bag of snacks on my tray, which bounced off and she proceeded to step on them .... oh well. I'll take a not-so-nice hostess over delays and missing connections . Maybe I'll find an airlines that can give me both?"
Cons: "Very negative about this company they did two times cancelation, at first was problem with lights in plane and we stay over an hour, then they say that the airplain has mechanical problems and we waited about one more hour, then they returned us to airport and we waited one more hour, finally after 3 hours they start to board us but service was horrible so rod boarding people. So I hade meeting with singing contract in the morning, I was late contract cancelled and I lose my money..... The company did not any compensation. I'm so Negative, negative, about this company, not recommended will never have again"

And then there were beans and peppers (can't eat those) if im paying for first even if im in row 5 it shouldn't mean I dont get what row 3 has..."

Cons: "I am young but I am in heart failure and have an artificial heart. I had requested wheelchair service so I didn't overexert myself at the airport and was wheeled right up to the gate. There were two other older passengers in wheelchairs, one on either side of me. When it came time to pre-board flight attendants came up to both men and helped them on board. They ignored me. Then they announced regular boarding. I had to remove my bags from my lap and get up out of the chair and go to the gate to say I needed to preboard. The man looked annoyd and said they had announced it. When I explained how no one came to me but they did the others he said I could go now. I said I needed help with my bags and he acted VERY surly and put out. He did help me but I felt like they assumed because I was young I couldn't possibly be sick and treated me like a liar."

Cons: "my girlfriend and I were removed from the plane. she had received troubling news from her family that kept stacking on, not to mention we were tired from traveling all day thanks to delays making us miss our flights. and when we gestured for an attendant to come by, light dark skin, facial hair, glasses. he had customer service come by and we reiterated the question if we decided we would like to get off the plane would it be possible to receive a voucher for the flight. but we told him that we were just trying to consider options and we were good to go, and the customer service told us that the attendant did not feel comfortable with us on the plane, and that my girlfriend reached out and touched him and he did not feel safe. we never even raised our hands our eye brows. they caused us all kinds of hell, we couldn't get another flight till 2210, they embarrassed and humiliated my girlfriend because she was crying. unacceptable."
