Flight was canceled in good weather due to mechanical issue. Rebooked to flight to different airport in area that landed 7 hours after initially planned arrival. We had to jump through hoops to get taxi reimbursement given flight landed in different airport at 12:45 am.
Flight delayed by over an hour…not their fault exactly, but it wasn’t convenient either. Other than that a great flight and STUCK the landing!
Great - i’ve been flying a budget Airlines for the last several times. And this was a breath of fresh air. Enjoy the atmosphere. The complementary drink and snacks, free carry-on. It was a breath of fresh air.
They cancelled the 6am flight around 12:30 AM the day before. I was luckily able to book through another airline. I called for a one way fare refund, the new flight is much more expensive. I lost $$$ in the difference and this caused lots of stress. I intend to take action following my trip, really off to a bad start and I will never fly Alaskan again
My travel mate needed wheel chair assistance getting on and off, and it was excellent. Thank you!

The plane was delayed almost 3 hours. I had a first class seat and there was no food loaded due to the late night departure (no nuts, not meal and no cookie), and the first class bathroom was out of order. Truly a disappointment all around.
Over all it was great. My original flight was canceled but they quickly rebooked me. I was frustrated because I had to cancel my entire plans for the day but all considered, not bad. The crew tried to keep us calm while we sat in the plane for was felt was an hour or so but they could use a bit of a script. The seats were comfortable and I would give it another try.
Having the internet available while flying was great. Better than having to choose from watching movies from a limited selection.
Gate personnel and flight crew were both very good. No problems other than the previous flight being late.
Decent entertainment although my wife was not offered any ear buds so couldn’t enjoy. Real issue was the appalling food. Presentation was unacceptable with cheap hard to open packaged bread, plastic cheese again in hard to open shrink wrap, main course in small cardboard box again hard to open, wooden utensils which lack substance making the whole experience poor. Surprised I didn’t cover myself or neighbour as the food moved all over the place. Breakfast calzone was dry and unappealing with the staff basically throwing them around. Very disappointed
The agents at the Kelowna YLW airport were really grumpy. Same with oversized baggage person. Staff on the plane were great.
Very short flight. No food or entertainment required. Nice crew. Flight left late.
Good, a bit cramped in the seat as my neighbour was a bit large
Get our, as a group, skis on time to their destination. Have more attendants checking people in. There was only one. The line was a block long :( . Also flight change with 5-hour delay
Lost my luggage. Filed a report and there is no response. Received a phone call from another airline that said they had the bag and they did not know what to do with it
Flight left on time. In flight entertainment options were good, but needed own device. Crew were polite.
Bad flight cancellations no notice until 11:00 pm could not call no response from them would not call back chat was not working had too book another flight ask for my money back so far only 97:00 of the 430:00 is pending in my account not sure what too do next
Westjet requires you to check in on your cellular. This takes about 5 minutes compared to when there were live humans doing check in. Ultimately the machine meant to spit out boarding passes and baggage tag went into the pinwheel of death. I also got a sternly worded email telling me I was ineligible to check bags, even though I’d checked one. The dude who eventually checked me in barely grunted at me and didn’t give me a baggage check. Had my luggage gone missing, I don’t know how it would have gone. And then there is the chaos as people jammed huge carry ons into small overhead bins. Westjet is a cattle car.
Plane had a flat tire, delayed boarding and takeoff but one in the air, smooth. Make sure you have downloaded the WJ app before you leave. When on board, you can watch movies or TV shows offered on the app, it passed the time very quickly.
Nice crew - very small plane and uncomfortable, with no entertainment options…
We were given an upgrade which provided more seat room and a meal. However seat designated overhead locker space was used by others.Boarding was delayed with part or the delay due to staff assisting diaablef individuals aboard. Personal observation would suggest that 3 individuals rorted the system. They used wheel chair access to the plane, boarding with family ahead of al other passengers, but required no assistance until boarding occurred. On departure 3 “disabled” individuals were seen walking freely near the baggage carousel. One person even assisted with a luggage trolley! The rorting is most likely widespread and not airline specific
Not good with Kayak … There is no customer service number to call ?? We have stuck at Toronto airport but air Canada don’t help because we bought tickets thru Kayak .. Kayak should have customer service number listed for help .. Very bad .. we will think twice to buy the tickets thru Kayak next time.. Ahluwalia
Headphones for the movies have too much bass and can't be adjusted. Almost impossible to hear. Great movie selections but can't really watch them because you can't hear them. Also the system is very slow.
The entertainment system is very slow. Scrolling through selections is slow.
The food and service were great! The flight was on time and comfortable.
Bumped us from flight without telling us! Booked us for the next day. Didn’t have a hotel, so I had to book a room at the Sheraton and hope I get my money back
Due to change of aircraft, I was moved to last seat on the plan. No seat adjustment, no lower back support. Extremely painful, and the same for the passenger next to me. Plane was old, narrow and most cramped. Will not travel on Air Canada again.
Flight was cancelled. Had to scramble to find another flight home
Video screen did not work. Coffee was cold. Loading process was good& we were only 10 minutes late.
