However, this leg of the trip was so late that I barely made it to third leg of the trip. A huge problem is that each of these international airports require that you go through the security check again. For that reason, connecting legs of trips through these airports should not be scheduled so close together. Heathrow is the worst, with security staff that, at best, don’t care that you have a close connection to make and just ignore your pleas to speed up the process, and at worst, are just plain rude."

Then we waited for security to arrive at about 4:30 am to get through and it was quite a slow shake down. One through there were no restaurants open until 5-5:30 am. The flight itself was fine. Facilities at Frankfurt were minimal with toilets offering only one stall each. While standing in the long queue a lady and her young daughter were rudely ushered out by the male custodian for cleaning, and then it could not be used for another 10-15 minutes."

Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Slightly better than Turkish airline's which isn't an achievement by any means. Old aircrafts which don't have air vents. They really don't offer anything to you except charge you a lot for the busiest routes in the world. Try other airlines."

I understand that industry standards have gone in this direction and that it's necessary to remain competitive, but at some point the industry needs to take into account the actual size of passengers. What are the seats now, about 16" wide? With so little leg room that I couldn't cross my legs if the seat in front of me was reclined. I'm a slim woman, about 130 lbs., and I was very (very) uncomfortable. I can hardly imagine the discomfort for the poor woman next to me (a plump post-middle-aged lady). I would definitely fly Air Canada again, as the staff was great and the overall experience was good. But I'm looking forward to the end of this trend of reducing space per passenger."

It would have been nice to leave the airport with my boarding pass. Then in the morning had to stand in line for an hour before I could get a boarding pass for a flight that was again delayed. Luckily it was the last leg of my return trip."

When most of us fixed this problem ourselves on the plane, we got lectured by flight attendants about the "wisdom" of checking in early. Boarding was very delayed because of overbooking and confusion; some people did not make it aboard even though they had been guaranteed a seat. Crew was apathetic, at best. The food was deplorable."

Confusion as right beside it was an AC direct flight to Toronto also boarding so lines were mixing. A hot meal provided which was good except for a stale roll and awful "salad". A hot wrap provided later in flight that was awful, should have used pizza pockets. Good crew and good flight. Always carry active noise cancelling ear buds or headphones."

We had a passenger who had to be removed from the plane ... after that we tried leaving again, but due to a potential security risk went back to the gate a second time for a security sweep of the plane. This unfortunately caused us to be on the tarmac for two hours, but the crew did a wonderful job of keeping us informed, offering water, calming nerves, etc. Beautiful comfortable airplane as well."

Luckily I took a few small snacks, but that was a little bit of a bummer all the same."

Much later, when the food cart came by, the attendant at the front told the other one to reset my light. The second one then asked if I had a question -- but didn't know what the wifi problem was. Hours later I did manage to get onto unitedwifi.com and learned that it's impossible to connect to using Chrome. Why did the crew not know this?! Then I was confronted with the $20 price tag to get on the internet. I started to pay, but the transaction took so long to complete that I realized it would be pointless to connect if that was the speed I could expect."

Cons: "The dinner, Thai Chicken Curry, contained nuts. Nobody communicated that to the passengers. I ate the Curry, not knowing there were nuts in the dish - I am allergic to nuts. Spent much of the flight feeling sick, being physically sick, feeling ill and not being able to think about anything else. After reading the Curry container cover, it did say the dish contained nuts. But the flight staff, I think, should have communicated this. Also who puts a dish with nuts in it on a plane, with all the allergies that passengers could have? I was not going to die from the experience, but some people are more allergic than I am. I think this choice of menu was very inappropriate."

Your attendant then tried to put me on standby all day the following day with a guaranteed flight at 8pm. I then asked him to check other airlines and was able to get an 8am one. The sheer lack of customer service is impressive. PS if your airline screws up, the least I deserve is a seat upgrade or some free sky mile points."

The other crew man was older and made me very uncomfortable. He was yelling at people constantly and made it very clear that he hates his job. This was the coldest flight I've even been on. Literally everyone was wrapped in their blankets and it still wasn't enough. The staff was told several times but refused to do anything. The guy in front of me had his seat row 39 middle left fully reclined back for the whole flight. Not once did anyone tell him to put it up during takeoff and meal times. He kept rocking the seat and spilled my drink in my lap."

Pros: "The staff at check-in at Terminal 2 at Heathrow airport were lovely... friendly, helpful. My suitcase was overweight so I had to remove 4lbs from my suitcase and redistribute it into my hand luggage. The staff were so polite and patient and had a very supportive attitude."
Cons: "1) The staff at the gate were mechanical and had an air of snootiness...non-genuine behaviour. 2) Cabin staff were not attentive and also very abrupt and short when approached for anything, despite the flight being at 30% capacity. 3) My arm was bandaged from my fingertips to my shoulder but when I asked staff to assist me with my hand luggage they refused 4) Food quantitiy was EXTREMELY low and the quality was appalling....there was less food given than in a MacDonalds Happy Meal."
