Cons: "Over 2 hours late, and this flight has been late 6 of the last 7 days"
Read more about Lufthansa
Cons: "Over 2 hours late, and this flight has been late 6 of the last 7 days"
Pros: "None of the above. I actually liked nothing about this trip. Took off at London in time for Frankfurt, arrived early, but missed the connection to Tel Aviv. So I had to be routed to Munich to catch a 10:30 pm flight, which arrives at 3 am Sunday. So I wasted the entire day, starved, exhausted."
Cons: "Proper connection time. I lost the entire day, and now have to get a cab for $100 instead of my colleague meeting me. 3 am is impossible. And I am still not in Tel Aviv."
Cons: "The entertainment system broke down completely on the whole plane and the crew was sort of grumpy."
Cons: "Boarding by rows would avoid people rushing to line up ahead of time."
Pros: "The crew were super friendly. There was plenty of space and I slept for a few hours"
Pros: "Lots of entertainment from music to podcasts to movies and tv. Food was good!"
Cons: "The flight was quite cold! More teas and coffee instead of cold drinks. Couldn’t tell if there was WiFi or not :/"
Cons: "Delayed flight - but it’s ok since I got to my final destination safely. It wasn’t a very long delay."
Cons: "There was not enough room for all the people’s cabin size luggage. They allowed people to get on board with big coats once they’re in the plain they take off the coats and place them up. Those coats take the same space as a small suitcase. I asked the fly attendants for assistance and they didn’t even pretend to care about the situation. I had to put my luggage under the seat for the entire flight, which ended up reducing the very reduced legroom. What this airline is trying to do is; to charge passengers twice for cabin size luggage. This has been my worst experiences with airlines. Lufthansa is definitely an airline to avoid."
Cons: "Online check-in did not work. When I checked in at the airport, I received only a middle seat."
Pros: "Once again, the in-flight crew was excellent. The flight was good, but no entertainment is provided."
Cons: "Another late take off, probably because the incoming connections were late. So it was good that the airline delayed the connecting flights. However, this leg of the trip was so late that I barely made it to third leg of the trip. A huge problem is that each of these international airports require that you go through the security check again. For that reason, connecting legs of trips through these airports should not be scheduled so close together. Heathrow is the worst, with security staff that, at best, don’t care that you have a close connection to make and just ignore your pleas to speed up the process, and at worst, are just plain rude."

Flight late …60 minutes No food No wifi No entertainment system A disaster!!!

All good on a new plane. Only issue was seated next to a large lady that physically took up a third of my seat. I had to sit turned to one side for the whole flight. Not comfortable and difficult to eat dinner.

It was very pleasant to fly with WestJet! I would recommend to my friends. The crews were very nice too!

The plane was dirty and parts were broken. Really run down. My table kept falling down because the latch was broken. Flight attendants were just plain old mean. Don't waste your money going to Canada unless you absolutely have to. It's a hellhole.

Pros: "This was an older plane with no upgrades including no Internet and the very small poor quality Monitors in the back of the seat in front of each passenger. The seats were very uncomfortable. The transfer in Vancouver after customs involved going outside in the cold to and from the bus. There was no warning. The customs area red jacketed help personnel told us that it was just as fast to go throught the general customs are instead of using our Nexus cards and this turned out to take forever. So very disappointing."
Cons: "Better communication at all levels. Remember that the overall strength of a chain is only as strong as its weakest link and this trip had many weak links for us making it a challenge."
Cons: "Flight was delayed over an hour and that added to an already for a very long day. We also ended up waiting a long time while aboard. There apparently was a weight balancing issue. It took them a long time to let us know why we were sitting there. Otherwise everything was okay."
Pros: "Crew was fine...but, 2nd trip with WestJet and 2nd time my luggage didnt arruve with me. Beyond inconvenient."
Cons: "Having my luggage!!!"
Pros: "We got stuck in a line up to check in and the line was over 2 hours long and by the time it was our turn, it was too close to departure ( an hour to go) and they wouldn’t let us board so we didn’t get to take our flight at all."
Pros: "The staff at the airport in Cancun are amazing! Wonderful service from the time you enter the terminal till you are checked in and through security. The flight on WestJet was excellent."
Cons: "Getting through YYZ is horrible. Two CBSA clerks checking the customs forms at the exit of the baggage area (twelve pickup areas). Really? Get a grip CBSA."
Pros: "Took off on time and it was a smooth flight."
Cons: "The boarding process was unorganized. Once your ready to board you should call out seat numbers starting from the back of the plane to the front and if someone tries to board before their seat has been called they should have to wait. This would eliminate all of the passengers to rush on line in order to get to their seat and to have space in the over head compartment."
Pros: "The crew was very attentive and willing to assist with everything."
Cons: "They charge for coffee and soft drinks and have no snacks complimentry"
Pros: "Ability to quickly board the plane"
Cons: "You had to pay for snacks and drinks on this flight"
Pros: "The air hostesses were first class. Pleasant, efficient and professional."
Cons: "The tv selections. Could have had more variety"
Cons: "On a flight to Budapest, budapest airport had issues that forced us to land in Austria. 5 hours later we’ve been completely abandoned in an empty airport while all the other planes that landed paid for their customers transport. It’s 4am, we have not been given food water or a plan as to how we will get to our destination. The plane crew basically told us we are on our own and left. This is straight up cruel, unjust and completely unacceptable considering we paid more than 2000 dollars for these flights"
Pros: "The flight crew was amazing. The entertainment system was great"
Cons: "Landed almost an hour late. Food was HORRIBLE. worst pasta of my life. The crew while kind, we busy chatting in the galley most of the flight. Never came around (besides the initial drink cart and the meal) to offer water or check on passengers. They forced me to close the window while we were flying and I bought a window seat so i could look out. The boarding process was very slow and disembarking took ages. Problems with loading the baggage led to an issue at baggage claim where they were stuck."
Pros: "Six years ago, after a very bad experience with this airline, I swore never to use BA again. However, this year, because of my children, I found myself on this airline again and had a very positive experience. The flight was on time, luggage was transferred without a hitch, the food was excellent and in-flight entertainment had a great variety to choose from. The 747 provided a very steady flight experience. Personnel were reasonably helpful. Continue this kind of service - it will help you remain successful."
Pros: "Leg room. Direct flight from Europe. Drink services were a lot better than our outbound flight."
Cons: "Plane was incredibly old for a long haul flight, with no power socket and extremely outdated TV's. Seats were dirty and small. We were in row 34 (middle of the plane over the wing) and when they got to us with the food options, they had already run out of the second choice on both occasions. On the first service, we asked the attendant if the food had any fish/seafood ingredients (due to allergies) and she said no. We then read on the lid of the food tray that there was a possibility of fish traces so my husband could not eat it. When we told the attendant about it she told us they didn't have anything else. Hard to believe there was nothing they could do, we've never experienced this issue before. We then asked another flight attendant if there was any food available for purchase but she said no. Luckily, she was able to find a vegetarian dish that my husband could eat. We're grateful that she found this as the next food service was not until 6 hours later. Sad that we had to ask again, we were expecting that they cared a little more. Overall, BA didn't meet our expectations unfortunately. This was a trip to Europe in which we took 4 BA flights and overall, the experience was of that no better than a low cost. Would have a hard time thinking of choosing this airline again."
Cons: "The BA crew at the check in needs improvement. BA has different standards from other carriers that make it confusing. Bag sizes for on board carry on luggage accepted by other carriers are not accepted by BA. So you can fly in with one carrier and then BA says that the bag cannot go on the flight. In a different flight our flight was cancelled and rescheduled to the next day. I have been trying to find out how to get compensated for this as it says on their website and have not been able to do that yet."
Cons: "For the 2nd time, neither me or my husband got our food choice...it has happened everytime we have flown. And we purchased full fare business class seats! I can understand once and maybe for one of us but it has happened EVERY time. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I sadly left my laptop onboard and I called the number for SFO BA Lost and Found for 48 hours....every 20 minutes. NO ONE answered and no one returned my messages. I finally had to drive back to the airport to talk to a human....a 5 hr round trip. No laptop turned in and it didn't turn back up in London. So clearly, cleaning crew stole it. That in its own right is a problem but NO ONE returning my calls. Completely unacceptable. I got the duty manager's email and emailed him TWICE over TWO days before he returned my email. I highly doubt I will fly BA again, I'm afraid."
Pros: "The crew was amazing, the flight was fast and easy."
Cons: "New seats are very cramped."
Pros: "All the crew we encountered were very efficient and helpful. The food was hot and really good, and we were well looked after, particularly on the Heathrow to Ottawa leg of the journey."
Pros: "Crew as always with air Canada were very accommodating. Always smiling!"
Pros: "Excellent pods on business and very good food and service"
Pros: "New plane in the excellent condition. Leg room in economy not bad. Crew friendly and efficient. Boarding worked well."
Cons: "The main meal was pretty dreadful. Grilled chicken with what I think was mashed potato, but it was difficult to be sure. Watery and tasteless. Accompanied bizarrely by a tomato sauce (which did taste of something). Hard to identify the ethnicity."
Pros: "Really nice comfortable seats, amazing windows larger then usually with new technology. Food was ok. It was nice that crew constantly was offering drinks"
Pros: "nothing"
Cons: "See above - seats worn out, entertainment worn out, Crew battling old tired aircraft. Massively overpriced. Bring on WestJet direct to Ottawa."
Pros: "Clean, friendly crew remembered how we had our tea/coffee from the earlier service"
Cons: "Economy is never very comfortable but was better than a lot of other airlines"
Cons: "Food is tasteless and it is too crapped. No leg room on planes"
Pros: "Air Canada is a respectable airline but the plane is not spacious at all. I mean, yes you pay for what you get, but damn the aircraft seats are so small. Then for people taking the morning flight, who probably haven’t eaten breakfast, you give them a measly omelet with a nasty side of spinach ? for the entire flight ? and a measly bag of pretzels ? Your starving the people which isn’t nice at all. Getting through baggage and getting in the flight was quite smooth and the air hosts were excellent. Entertainment was ok, there’s way to many Asian inspired films on there that I find are uninteresting, but hey, to each his own. Now coming back however was far better, the food was good, although can we stop putting soggy food into the mix, I know the food is premade but the mash potato is always so soggy and the vegetable mix has no flavour. Drinks are always great on the flight, entertainment was the same, hosts were great, pilot knows how to fly the plane, thank goodness, and overall it was a good flight back. Make the tiny adjustments I suggested and you’ll be at the top of your game Air Canada ! Merci !"
Cons: "Tiny sandwich after 9 hours. Would it kill them to add a bag of chips?"
Pros: "Crew was attentive. Seats were reasonably comfortable. Good selection of entertainment."
Pros: "Came close to missing flight because of gate delay because of connecting flight, but one of the flight attendants saw I was flustered and sweaty and gave me a cup of water before the flight even took off. Very thoughtful and nice."
Cons: "My name was on both reservations, i did not notice this until my wife and i tried to check in. They would not change the name on one of the tickets to my wife, Kathleen. So we had to cancel the entire reservation. I have trip insurance with Allianz, and am trying to get a refund for the tickets. If"
Cons: "Checked luggage took more than 45 minutes to arrive. Tough with little kids to keep waiting."
Pros: "Helpful crew and loads of space on bulkhead with bassinet (had to pay extra for the seats though but worth it when travelling with five month old)."
Cons: "Misinformed about luggage being checked all the way to Auckland - like other US airports all luggage must be collected and handed over again for onward journeys. Also travel cot was lost in transit."
Cons: "Flight was late due to mechanical issues. Couldn’t exit the plane in Chicago bc of JetWay malfunction."
Pros: "economy seats"
Cons: "non veg option for snack. all other food was good option"
Pros: "Crew was attentive....lot's of water rounds.... temperature and information while inflight...good"
Cons: "Food was really bad....though didn't expect much"
Pros: "At boarding there were delays which the boarding personnel updated as they had information. After boarding flight crew passed out water while we waited on the tarmac for hours while a maintenance issue was reviewed. Safety protocols that had a engine issue looked at on the ground prior to putting us in the air. Curry chicken was good."
Cons: "Several issues that caused this flight to be late. Part of the issue was the plane was not available to be in the gate on time. The longest delay was on the tarmac for over 2 hours as an engine was analyzed. Does this suggest need for more regular maintenance? I don't know. Given the delays I think United could have done more in recognition of the delay to its customers on the flight such as not charging for some of the services they normally charge for like wifi access and such. As it was I was delayed on both legs of my trip by a minimum of an hour. United should do better."
