Iceland, being part of the Schengen area, allows visa-free travel for Canadian citizens. This exemption applies to stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period, encompassing visits to any Schengen country. However, for extended stays exceeding this duration, a visa is required. • What are the child seat laws parents should know about when flying to Iceland?

Iceland requires that all children 24 months of age and younger ride in a rear-facing seat and then ride in a forward-facing seat until they are four years old. The Air Canada AC1 flight from Toronto to Tokyo on May 16 was great overall. Service, crew, food and entertainment were all excellent and everything ran smoothly. We had emergency exit seats so legroom was amazing, but the seats themselves weren’t very comfortable and the plane feels like it could use an upgrade for a long-haul flight. Aside from that, everything else was perfect.

Air traffic delay meant boarding started, then plane was evacuated and passengers sent back to the terminal for 1 hour. Very little information shared.

The long delay was the worst part of the flight.

Baggage check is an aggravation. We had four 4 bags, if a bag is just .10 of a kilo you cannot check it on AC self baggage check. It is not possible to check the weight of the bag at the self checking. Should you check a bag that is under the limit it will go right through and you can’t get it back to redistribute weight from a heavier bag.

I cannot think how they could put more seats together but they did. So elbow to elbow leg to leg for these long journeys they should consider leg space at least. Since they did not offer to check people's carry one space was tight and if you did not get on first people used your assigned overhead storage so now your doing these same to another. Cascading inconvenience.

Despite exit row seating, which gave leg room, seating was so narrow, the next passenger spilled over onto my seat. WiFi did not work.

It was okay. The seating didn’t give you much space especially when you book a premium. It was still pretty close. The seats had no screens which was a disappointment. The crew was awesome though. Again I wish the wait between families with children boarding and general boarding was a little longer to give families some time to get situated especially those bringing a stroller like myself or for solo parents travelling like myself who has to do everything. The time between boarding zones especially with chilling is so short, I had to gate check my stroller and did not have enough time to pull it down and transport my luggage inside all while having my infant strapped to me or to even ask a flight attendant to assist as they’re busy with the the general boarding going on

Flight itself was not bad at all. However: my checked bag (checked in Calgary) did not make it onto this flight as I found out after I landed at EWR. I still don't have it but it appears that it is on its way to me.

The crew was amazing! I was a bit surprised and disappointed that there was not wifi available for personal use. The only thing I would change would be the seat cushions. They are not comfortable at all for long flights.

Flight and attendance were very good we had 2 hour delay that took the shine of it
