Pros: "nice but slow in business class"

Pros: "Room"
Cons: "Entertainment"

Cons: "The gate in Calgary took approximately 45 minutes to allow off the plane . We arrived early but by the time we were able to leave the plane , boarding for our next flight had already begun. We had to go through customs and other planes from the US had similar problems. Therefore many were delayed."

Cons: "Leaving Montreal"

Cons: "Lil late"

Pros: "On time. Smooth."
Cons: "Cramped seating"

Pros: "Slick and direct"

Pros: "Easy to change flight same day to one flight earlier."
Cons: "Forced me to check in my (undersized) duffel bag carry on. Then forgot To load the bag onto the plane. WestJet cited a questionable and unlikely reason, that the bag was not loaded due to baggage to passenger weight ratio for safety reasons, even though flight was far from full with multiple empty rows. Plus there was a grand total of only approximately 12 pieces of baggage at the carousel. Also the plane’s auxiliary power generator was broken, which meant no a/c while on the tarmac before and after takeoff. Cabin was warm though not intolerable, however led to delays at both origin and destination airport due to having to wait for an external power supply truck. No in flight service due to supposed turbulence. Which would have been fine, except there really wasn’t much turbulence. Didn’t affect me, but my neighbor’s entertainment system was broken. However, these multiple issues and the broken power generator makes me wonder about what other maintenance issues have been overlooked or not addressed. Most of all I was offended by the clear lack of honesty about my baggage. If there really was a weight limit safety issue despite the plane being far from maximum capacity, then there are much bigger issues with the plane that makes me never want to fly WestJet again. But don’t insult your passengers by lying to cover up your carelessness. My baggage arrived on the following (my original) flight, but that which was delayed by nearly two hours. I’ve flown on United, Delta, Southwest, JetBlue, WowAir, AA, Alaskan, Virgin, American Airlines, United Airways, China Air, EVA, and Air Canada. So far, WestJet has been by far my worst experience."

Pros: "Smooth. On time"

Pros: "Friendly crew"
Cons: "No entertainment and bag charge."

Pros: "Crew was funny."
Cons: "Flight delayed 3 times, ended up being a 4 hour delay after a delay on our first flight already. No help at terminals until just before flights. Employees seemed spread thin. Need more help."

Cons: "Did not like flight attendants attitude, my row of TVs did NOT work for the whole flight, leaving me bored for the whole flight"

Pros: "For a low cost carrier, the service and cleanliness were on par with the more expensive airlines. Crew were courteous and professional."

Pros: "We upgraded to Plus when we checked in and it was totally worth it. Extra space, food, drink. It was great!"

Pros: "Joesph air host was amazing! Took care of numerous people with kindness & professionalism on our morning fright from Toronto to Vegas!"
Cons: "Lots of kids on the flight. Parents did a great job coupled with the staff. I very grateful! I needed a nap ! Iol"

Cons: "No entertainment on the return flights Yeg/Yul !! Makes for a long flight."

Cons: "Electrical was out so not able to charge my device"

Pros: "I always use Kayak to book my flights! The website is user friendly and the prices you see are round trip. WestJet is fantastic! Service is great, the seating is spacious for the price. Always seems to be on time or early arrival."

Pros: "Great staff. Fast boarding and deplaning."

Pros: "Quiet ride, got to sit with my friends again, fast loading"
Cons: "No entertainment, tv. Seats are very uncomfortable, as well"

Cons: "We didn’t like having to take the red eye to meet our Costa Rica connection. We"

Pros: "The plane was clean, and seating is very comfortable with enough leg room. Its one of the best domestic rides I had."

Pros: "What can you say -They were their usual great !"

Pros: "The Flight Attendants were excellent!"

Pros: "Quick flight"
Cons: "Seats were too narrow, plane was changed to what looked like a smaller plane. Everything else wasn’t WestJet’s fault. Red eye flight and jerk behind me left his light on the whole flight and giy beside me kept rib checking me, preventing me from sleep. By the time plane landed I had been up 23 hours."

Pros: "I liked the fact that all the movies food and beverages were included in my Plus seat."
Cons: "This was my first time booking a PLUS seat and never realized that row 2A seat sucks. Its a bulkead row seat that is by the window. This seat was worse to sit in than any other seat on the plane. This seat is located were the plane starts to curve in toward the front of the plane reducing the seat width, I have a 33" waist and it was tight. The arm wrests in this row don't come up as they stow your table, as well the leg room is only as good as a regular seat because of the bulkhead location. So FYI do not book this seat on a long flight."

Pros: "I got to my destination with relatively no hassle and the crew were friendly and the coffee was good."
Cons: "There was NO entertainment at all.. no radio.. no movies.. no music channels nothing.. the fliplane did have WiFi.. but the catch was the WestJet app needs to be pre-downloaded. I’m"

Cons: "I flew Toronto-Calgary-Palm Springs and then Las Vegas back to Toronto. Only the Calgary-Palm Springs flight (the shortest leg) had seat back entertainment including satellite TV (although it cut out half way there). West Jet should have such entertainment available on all of their longer flights (consistent with the likes of Jet Blue that has had it for years). I would also point the disaster at the West Jet recommended Airport Lounge i Toronto. I almost missed the flight because there was A. No flight information available in the lounge like everywhere else B. The TV available in the lounge was on the information channel which included the time but froze up at some point (I checked the time and though I had about an hour before the flight and had hour til boarding. When I looked up again about twently minutes later the time was exactly the same. C. The Lounge was 20 minutes from the gate and this distance was a total surprise. I provided my boarding pass and the receptioist said nothng about the distance (unlike other airport lounges that I have visited). Note that I stopped into the Chinook Lounge in Calgary to see if they had addressed all of the complaints. I asked how far away my gate was and what steps I had to go through to get there and they had no clue. It turns out that one must take a shuttle bus, go though security again and then go through US customs so bottom line is that one needs the adviised three hours and the Chinook Lounge is essentially useless for travellers connecting to a US destination in Calgary. I would suggest that perhaps your CEO or senior staff should go through the experience of using the above Lounges and believe me this would result in A. Demanding significant improvements or B. Recommending Alternative Lounges or C. Advising that these lounges not be used (and certainly not featuring them on your web site). One additional comment. I arranged to meet someone on your Toronto-Vegas flight at McCarron (last Tuesday nite). There are 26 different luggage carousels so I positioned myself in the middle and monitored the flight arrival information. Officials at McCarron Airport failed to indicate that your plane had arrived. As a result, I was delayed in making my way to meet the individual at Carousel 26 and we missed making contact. Most Toronto passengers were already leaving with their luggage so I approached one of your staff who to put it lightly was useless (not sure why she was there). She would not tell me if my party was on the flight or even when it landed or provide any solution. The McCarron Flight Info Board still did not indicate arrival of your flight even after basically all the luggage was gone. I finally got someone who worked at McCarron to contact the PA Announcer and ask my party to meet me at Carousel 26. The PA Announcement came over a few minutes later ... but said to meet at Carousel 16. Gross incompetence all the way around. Dennis Egan 519-513-1025"

Cons: "Not any bodys fault the crew were trying to be supportive. multiple babys all around the area beside accros and a few rows down. maybe set them all to teh back would be better"

Pros: "It was nothing I liked about it I asked to move to empty seats they told me it was against the safety rules"

Pros: "Flight attendants were awesome"

Cons: "It was delayed."

Cons: "WestJet needs more checkin machines and shorter security lines. I arrived at the airport with a boarding pass and it took over an hour to get to the gate"

Pros: "Crew was great. comfort very good. service good."
Cons: "flight delayed 2 hours. Updates on app were slow (notifications)."

Pros: "Flight staff"
Cons: "Had to disembark. So left and arrived much later than planned."

Pros: "On time departure, early arrival"

Pros: "Westjet staff are consistently *way* friendlier than Air Canada"
Cons: "-Inbound flight arrived late, our flight departed even later. Not the staff's fault that two separate parties had ID/security issues, but I've seen staff at other airports walk along the line and review ID before boarding starts and it prevents those issues from delaying the flight. -Short flight = crappy snacks. Nacho sticks or dry coffee cookies, both pretty unpalatable."

Cons: "I was really tired. Long line getting into the USA section. Argh. Let's just say I was grumpy and wanted to get home. Staff wss really nice."

Cons: "Flight kept getting delayed other then that was great"
