Overbooked flight led to a 30 minute delayed departure trying to get 3 volunteers to accept $1000 vouchers and a next day flight. This was an older configured aircraft without charging ports and with headphone plugs in the armrests. Bathrooms were tinier than most. Crew was friendly. Food was limited to a small snack bag and a mini cola.

Cons: "Nothing was mediocre about the crew or delta. The other passengers around us made a 4 1/2 hour flight feel like 8 hours of hell."

Cons: "It was the most mediocre flight I've taken in a long time. And I still had to pay $100 for an exit row instead of a regular seat. Really? $100 for no recline, no underseat storage, and nothing more than cliff bars and goldfish crackers? Delta.... You can do way better"

Food especially thinking this dinner time in business class fare very small portions! Wi-Fi paid for full flight but it was turned off in the mid of the air!"

Cons: "This was the longest part of a three flight trip back to DCA and there was no movies. This was completely unexpected, so I wasn't prepared to entertain myself for 5 very long hours. It would have been nice to have know this ahead of time so I could have brought a book with me. Early notification thru the app is the way to go."
Pros: "We loved Jaimie and Dana with Delta, two super nice ladies working at check-in and bag drop counter. We were running late and a bit confused, both of the ladies helped us with the whole process, re-assured is that all will be well. They did so with a great genuine attitude. Thank you again Jamie and Dana :)))"

Pros: "In flight entertainment is nice but only seems to happen on shorter legs of the trip. Also, too many useless interruptions from crew during movie. You don't have to keep thanking the passengers throughout the flight. And the volume through your headset is way too loud on crew announcements compared to regular listening volume of your program."

Delta claims it doesn't have to compensate for a late flight - just a cancelled one so guess which this was The baggage fees are obscene and the gouging of the customer is immoral. No wonder people hate the airlines."

It seems so simple but with the morning I had, this simple act had me in tears! The kindness and patience she showed me was amazing and definitely the reason I will always fly Delta to any and every destination they are able to take me! <3"
