Air Canada every time!
As per my submission and other part of the flight, rushed and stressful transfer at Pearson airport. Baggage delayed.
Boarding was seemless. As for the flight itself, we deiced the wings twice. Had to come back to check for mechanical issues leading to our flight arriving 3-hours late to destination. As for food choice, do not choose the pancakes as it was similar to eating sweet microwaved porridge.
The landing was a little rough fit the size and weight of the plane we made it .
Pros: "Nostalgic plane ride"
Cons: "Use more modern plane for these short trips. No drinks offered due to turbulence. Old Bombardier plane had no way of storing carry-ons other than beneath seat, thus limiting leg space"

Pros: "Crew was friendly and boarding was fast and easy."

Pros: "Overnight flight so slept. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful."

Pros: "There seems to have been improvements to the check in and boarding for disabled disabled passengers like myself at Pearson. Much easier to drop off luggage and move quickly to the wheelchair pickup area. Staff were courteous and efficient."
Cons: "Spacing between seats continues to be a problem especially for disabled clients. Because I was travelling alone, I was asked if I would move to accommodate someone with a pet carrier that would not fit under the seat they were in. I declined but wondered how they were allowed to board with an oversized case. Also seemed strange to ask a disabled passenger to move."

Cons: "6 hour flight no food included. Came by twice for beverages. No entertainment. Probably the first time in 10 years I've been on a flight without any screens for entertainment. Goes without saying, no USB plug in."

Cons: "they always start at first class with drinks and food , by the time they reach further back your flight is half over, can they not do one cart from front and one from back. I realize we were not in first class but please don't ignore us"
Cons: "My 5-hour flight was delayed 5 hours. Missed all my scheduled events. I had planned for up to 3 hours of issues (delays, traffic, luggage issues, etc.) and it was still not enough to allow me to make my meeting on time. Additionally, the in-flight entertainment system linked to my seat was defective and only provided sound in one ear."

Cons: "The fact that I paid all this money and yet I couldn't get a decent meal. Unbelievable. I've been flying for years -- long enough to remember when flying was less expensive and we actually got more. Today we pay all kinds of taxes and fees; we pay to bring our luggage (as if we could pay for a ticket to go abroad and do so without clothing), and yet we get get less for our dollar. I wish someone in the offices actually thought about that AND did something to make flying with Air Canada what it was."

Cons: "It was cold throughout the flight and everyone was shivering, we asked for blanket and they didn't provide it to nobody! It's a 4 to 5 hours flight, come on! I paid for the salad that was not fresh The screen confront of me was not working I will definitely avoid buying air Canada and it's a shame as I am Canadian and would like to have my business with them. However I am not happy with their service."

Cons: "Quando embarcamos, quase todos os espaços para as malas já estavam ocupados, o espaço lateral das poltronas era muito apertado, a reclinação era péssima, praticamente inexistente. Quando decolamos, começou a cair água na nossa cabeça. O funcionário responsável disse que era do ar condicionado e era normal. A comida era ruim, sem gosto e com acompanhamentos que não combinavam, por exemplo no meu caso era frango com uma salada de vagens e pepino. Fora o horário das refeições, quase não era oferecido bebidas em um voo de 10 horas."

Cons: "No overhead bin for centre section of row that my seat was in made it very inconvenient. It seemed to take far too long to offload the plane at the gate; we waited over 10 minutes for the door to open."

Cons: "I tried to call your airlines to reserve a spot for humanitarian supplies. I run a rescue for dogs in Cancun. I could never get through to anyone and there is no info on your tickets about the cost of a third bag. I was charged an extra $500.00 for two extra bags that were carrying donated supplies to help the animals. But your airline made it a useless endeavor because they ended up costing more than they were worth. The people at the gate were unbending and I'm so disappointed that it is more important to you to make money than help non-profit organizations. I have run Isla Animals for 15 years and have had much help from kind airlines, I won't be flying yours or recommending yours to any dog lovers."

Cons: "stupid automatic kiosk, they force us to take it even it wont work because of my name is too long. Have to wait in line and get bypass when using kiosk. Damn it we are in 2016, can you have smarter computer? I mean, I don't have a first name with 1,500 characters in it, when you FORCE us to take it, can it be useful one time?. And, the check-in was terrible improvising."
Cons: "My luggage had not being delivered yet. Somebody decided not to located it to my conexion with COPA in Los Angeles. I am wondering if I could have access to my stuff before going back home in Vancouver. My family is waiting here for the gifts that I bought for them. I am feeling really embarrased with this situation."
Pros: "I appreciated the varied entertainment options available for such a long flight."
Cons: "The cabin was absolutely freezing! Everyone in the area I was seated was complaining, wearing coats and blankets and still very uncomfortable. The crew was surly and not at all helpful. The flight was very, very late, which caused me to miss my connecting flight in Toronto. If that were an isolated incident, I would be able to look past it, but every leg of the trip I took was late. The boarding process in Rome was so completely unorganized, it was like being in a giant herd pressed against one another and nobody could move to allow the boarding to proceed as called. It was complete chaos from the earliest part of the trip to the very end."
Pros: "I had a five year old and an eleven year old traveling with me and was able to board early and get them settled before everyone else got on."
Cons: "We didn't see much of the flight attendants and my grandson became ill. We could have used more water throughout the flight as that may have prevented him from getting sick."

Cons: "Getting checked in London was a pain. Air Canada had changed my original flight over (a change I wasn't happy with) and then when I got to LHR had marked my record for a change fee! Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Crew was generally inattentive, absent, and hardly friendly. At one point I was instructed how to load my (tiny) food tray properly after the meal. I am sorry but you are working for the airline and I am paying for service, which I didn't get."

Until we found them all in a back room with a room full of everyones luggage. We dont recommend air canada. And we will never fly with them again when we get back. Food was disgusting."
