Cons: "I was in the last group being boarded (D) - by the time it gets to this group it seems a kind of controlled pandemonium starts and the staff just do their best to herd people in. I have an Alaska Air credit card and one of the selling points was to board earlier, but that has not been the case, as they reserve this for their higher level customers, whatever that means. Also, on this flight, I was very unimpressed with the crew, there was a younger African American man, who was particularly unfriendly, he clearly needs remedial training in customer service. I was disappointed with my experience this time as I have mostly found the crews to be very professional."

Everyone had connecting flights. Off the plane onto a bus. then through customs then shuffled outside with no guidance from employees. Finally I found someone to ask bc 15-20 people were around me in the same boat. Where the f do we go we wondered. The employee was insanely rude. I’m attentive and I listen. he was saying pay attention I told you go right blah blah blah. He was literally standing there with his arm out pointing right and never said a word to anyone. So once we figured out to go outside and right we had a stressful ten minute wal hoping we were going the right way. We were! We get to tsa and have to go through screening again. Which is insane bc we just got off a plane. The tsa agent told us this happens everyday with a smerk. On top of her attitude, her and the two other lazy ladies on her line were painfully slow. The other two lines went at least twice as fast(no exaggeration!) made it to gate 66 to find it was changed without notice to 63. Made the flight by two minutes or less sweating from running around!"

They provided a peaceful setting with their warm smiles & welcoming greetings. She commented about being greeted as she boarded the plane & being thanked as we said our good-byes. This was a trip she'll always remember. Thank you, Alaska Airlines!"

Pros: "Air travel in the US is a disaster. People are cattle. Food is overpriced. Some airlines have policies that out to be criminal in how passengers are treated. The good news is Alaska and just a few other smaller airlines are far less terrible than the rest of the industry. The product is still cramped, unapitizing and not always smooth... but the crew is consistnetly awesome... and their policies are customer friendly"

I also enjoyed seeing our flight attendant serving some serious unimpressed face to a woman who was being an entitled diva."

When a whole flight of people has gotten up to get to the airport at 4am for a flight that early, this kind of logistical snafu is incredibly frustrating -- plus, most of us wouldn't choose a flight that early if we didn't have somewhere to be."

The driver quickly took all our boarding passes and checked us in at the gate. We left just a few minutes later! The crew helping us make that flight were so quick and took care of us. The other travelers and I were impressed and very grateful to barely make that flight. We were all sure we would miss it when we first landed. Thank you to all you wonderful people who made that happen!"

Alaska employees showed great disregard for helping stranded costumers that lose their flight even when it was not passengers foul. I will try NOT to flight on Alaska anymore!!!!"

Cons: "We booked tickets to Costa Rica with Copa and they just changed our flights to two days later than the booking. They didn’t even bother to inform us of the change we only found out because we booked through Kayak and they let us know. Apparently Copa expects you to frequently check your booking just in case they’ve changed anything and don’t feel the need to inform their customers of any changes they make. Then we were told we could get a Copa voucher to use for other Copa flights for having to cancel our booking and rebook with another airline as a 48 hour change to our flight made flying with Copa not doable for us. But the website kept telling us we had a voucher that was sent to our email but despite repeated attempts it never came through. And spent hours trying to get through to someone on the phone to sort it out with no success ever getting through. My advice. NEVER EVER FLY WITH COPA."

Pros: "My flight was delayed, causing a lot of stress at the terminal because many people had connecting flights. The Copa staff could not have been more helpful. Copa even put me up for the night at a Sheraton in Panama City when I missed my connection, provided free transportation to and from the airport, and gave me a free dinner voucher. All in all, a well handled experience in the face of disaster."

Now almost 11 hours later we arrive in Costa Rica and because my passport was ripped they wouldn't let me in the country and sent me back. Why your airlines couldn't have told me this before I got all the way to Costa Rica and passed two check points I don't know. So you guys said you would send us to Puerto Rico but I would have to by my own plane ticket home... Very disappointed in your airline. And to top it off my boyfriend and I had very expensive osprey packs we were traveling with .. We used a copa plastic bag to wrap them up in Vegas so the strings would not get caught .. When we received our packs in Puerto Rico YOUR employees had taken the bags off and cut my boyfriends 300 dollar bag! I will never fly again with your airline."

Super frustrating if one of the most popular luggage manufacture makes a “carry-on” bag, airlines should realize people will be arriving with the expectations that they can use it as a carry on. Anyways I’m out $58 both ways ($116). I will not fly with AeroMexico again because of this simple fact."

Flying is a demeaning experience where the airlines nickel and dime you for everything. Seats in economy are miniscule, your neighbors are in your laps, the food is objectionable and costly, entertainment non-existent or costly. Customers are cash cows who can be sucked dry for every amenity."

Cons: "Both flights were INCREDIBLY delayed. First, the flight from San Jose was delayed 1.5 hours because they were "waiting for the aircraft." After everybody finally boarded the plane an announcement was made that somehow the luggage crew had damaged the cargo hold, and that everybody would have to deplane. It would take 45 minutes for maintenance crew to arrive to assess the situation. People got up, got their luggage out of the overhead bins, and started moving to the front of the plane. The pilot then came back on the intercom and told everyone they would have to return to their seats. Roughly an hour later we finally took off. It would have been the decent thing to do to AT LEAST offer the passengers something (i.e. comp drinks or snacks), but the cheapskates at United DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE. Multiple people missed their connections. Fast forward to IAH--> SAT. Another late flight. This time, everybody boarded the plane only to be informed that due to a problem with the plane's computer everybody would have to sit on the plane while they "rebooted" its computers. This was done TWICE. UNITED AIRLINES, GET IT TOGETHER. There is a very good reason you are consistently ranked one of the WORST US-flagged carriers, which makes you one of the MOST HATED AIRLINES ON THE PLANET. I really and truly pray that the US airlines and their lobbyists lose their battle to prevent foreign flagged carriers from operating within the US, because you all deserve to go bankrupt."

Cons: "The service, entertainment, boarding, comfort, and crew haven't changed at all ever since I've flown with united. The crew just seemed to be there to get their pay checks not serve the customers."

I get bad weather, I wouldn't want to go up in a plane in a thunderstorm regardless of the circumstances....but I spent almost a day getting to my destination that should of only taken9 hours tops. Delay upon delay, arriving right when my next flight was leaving. Very rude staff, I saw an attendant yell at a mom and daughter like she was their mom. Non-apologetic to anyone. Their goal is to shove you in the plane and shove you out. Are they safe airline? Yes, they will get you to where you need to be...but not before they make your life hell. I don't normally do reviews on anything, but United still has me frustrated even a week later. I almost forgot, they did give $20 to eat. Do you know how expensive airport food is?"

They had all passengers board the plane and then decided to refuel, so everyone sat in the airplane for 1 hour at the gate before leaving. We didn’t even get a drink of water on the plane. We were sitting in the last row in the back of the plane and when the attendant got to us it was time to land so she just skipped our row. I highly dis recommend Volaris."

Everything seemed disorganized. No food was offered or even a glass of water. I am 86 years old and travel handicapped all over the world with excellent service. I was shocked that I as dumped in a seat at the Volaris gate from the wheel chair by the attendant; and, who never returned to help me board the plane. I made the mistake of tipping him well. No ramp was available and I had to beg for help with my carryon as I have to hold on with both hands to go up the stairs. Cancun’s attendant for handicapped was much better and truly helped me and stayed with me until my transfer was found. Tijuana’s airport service was horrible."
