I will not be flying with westjet again. I was uncomfortable in my seat. The position made my back hurt so bad. My wife was able to fit the seatbelt around her with out an extension but was unable to put the tray table down or fit in the seat for that matter. Our bag was smashed and I spent two hours trying to fill out the application for a damaged bag before I gave up. The 80 photos I took would not work and nothing telling me the format to upload them as.. I made the mistake of unpacking the bag before taking photos so no claim for me. Next trip to Canada I will have to use air Canada.
Overall good experience. The wait for baggage at our destination was quite long, but other than that everything was good as expected
Airplane is too small. Crew, especially the flight attendant who looked after our area, was not at all friendly and a touch authoratative. She may have been the most gruff flight attendant i've come across in 40 years of business travel
I selected "carry-on" for a round trip on Kayak, but my return flight on WestJet did not include a carry-on and they would not allow me to add one. My only option was to add a "checked bag" which I had to wait for on the luggage carousel after landing. Not a good experience.
I was seated near a "stinky" person. That's not the fault of Westjet🙁😶🌫️
The only thing I can't give good or really good is the fact that we didn't have food ,just a packet of pretzels or cookies which is normal,and ofcourse there isn't any entertainment. I've always flowen WestJet ..I really like the airlines..this plane was smaller one ,pretty tight seating.
What do you expect from a Dash 8 plane? No seats really comfortable.
The snacks could have been better, and maybe some warm drinks instead of just water cause it was very very cold.
Do not fly on WestJet if you have a connection. It failed to integrate with my connecting Delta flight and I almost missed it.
There was a man who was very rude at boarding. On the other hand personal bag measuring box is too small compared to USA airlines,
My seat was covered in vomit and I will be reaching out to Air Canada
3 hr delay at the gate while they were doing maintenance. Next time, do not board passengers while maintenance is being performed
Baggage delayed we had to catch our cruise without any clothes 😒
Air Canada Rouge is great. Toronto Airport is the usual nightmare
The staff could not have been any friendlier. Lots of usb ports on our aircraft.
The airplane is way too tight, you can hardly enter into your row to sit.. more like kids seats than adults.
First message when all on board was that we didnt have a pilot, then they found one, then it was something about the bridge something not working, they will either fix or do manually. Flight of course was leaving late with all the cruise guests worrying about making it to their ship in time. Then only some luggage made it off the ship. Around 15 to 20 people waiting. 45 min later arrived except mine. I asked the rep at the luggage conveyor, he asked me my name. Then said it was not picked up with the first batch so they put it in a room. I was going to take public transport but now worried about time so took a taxi that cost me $65 USD
Flight was cancelled last minute due to Air Canada strike leaving us stranded and having to stressfully find a way home that cost hundreds of dollars in excess cost added to the trip. Having just experienced our mother's funeral service, this was not a good way to end our trip.
Horrible, experience, 5 hours delay, they changed gates 3 times, the last one we had to wait for 1::30 hre for the door to open to get to that gate. 0 apologies from Air Canada, they don’t care at all about their passengers
Late departing. Late arriving. More worried about limiting bags on board. Free beer and wine a nice surprise.
