Service was great, and the premium economy seating was very comfortable. The food was good.
This flight was even more crowded that Singapore to Taipei, an extra row of seats and an additional 4th seat in the middle made it extremely crowded. No leg room, no width for room. Terribly uncomfortable flight. The food was disgusting. We will never fly EVA Air again.
Movie selection was not as good as recent flights I've taken (EVA and other airlines).
Very smooth flight. Superb crew, great food and service. Slept most of the way. Excellent airline.
The boarding was organized and efficient. The crew was very thoughtful and did not wake me up when meals were served. I was totally exhausted after 2 weeks of vacation with a tour group. So sleep was more important to me. The crew just left me a sticker telling me that food had been served and if I woke up hungry to contact the crew. I did have the last meal scheduled on board. Food was very mediocre. The scrambled egg and minced meat were too salty. The porridge was passable. I was disappointed because I have high expectations of food from Taiwan. I thought EVA being a Taiwan based airline would have served its customers better tasting food.
delayed and the cabin crew was like trainees.. a bit careless and not so pleasing to their job
Crew's attitude can be better. I asked one crew member to help to put carry on baggage into overhead bin, but he was not willing to help. I needed help because my height is short. His attitude was bad.
The hygiene of the bathrooms were terrible. Urine smells leaked out into the cabin and the seats were really tight, even for a petite woman like myself. Flight attendants did not go through the cabin enough to offer refreshments.
The quality of the food is pretty good. Thank you, EVA Air.

I would like to commend the staff from this flight. They all looked happy and I can tell they love what they are doing and constantly smiling while serving the passengers. Special mention to the guy FA in our section. I did not get his name but he is so far the best F.A I have ever encountered!
Didn't like on this return inbound flights (from Hong Kong to Vancouver) Outbound to the Hong Kong was good.

Liked that I could pick my seat and have a special meal without an extra charge. Luggage is reasonable for overseas trip. What could have been better is boarding and leaving on time.
Staff is friendly, great variety of entertainment, check in a little messy but due to people not listening. Overall a pleasant experience. Would use again in the future.
It felt like a new plane. Decent leg room in economy, food was fine, and the plane didn’t feel super dry and uncomfortable.
Better training to have qualified crews and services. My flight was from around 12 midnight Friday Taipei to Vancouver. After two hours first meal (2:00 Am -8:00 ) no crew available for even asking for some water. I was even willing to pay for water. For breakfast after 8 hours the only drink was tea and coffee no water or juice.
Flight was delay almost 2 hours from Hong Kong to Taipei. Last minute gate change from 24 to 66. Long way walk. We need to run in the Taipei airport to catch our next flight from Taipei to Vancouver. That is so suck!
Paid for seat upgrades but the seats were broken so had to move to seats with no leg room. Overall, service was poor. Asked for a blanket, which everyone received but there wasn't one on my chair--told that there wasn't anymore, but then saw them give out extra blankets to people and saw a huge stack of extra blankets.
I didnt experience it but i saw them and heard that some are not good in customer service. They dont know how to talk with respect and in a nice way.with persons who needs it. Especially with seniors and people who does not know how to speak english that much.
Excellent service from check in/ bag drop counter staff to flight attendants. Food was great. Seats are nice. Excellent airline.
A shameful national carrier. Service has gone down from the highs of a decade before. You don’t feel the Filipino hospitality. It’s an aging fleet. Nil comfort, and I flew premium economy.
Everything was great, except for the inflight entertainment, which wouldn't work on my Samsung Zflip. The flight was smooth despite the heavy rains exiting Tokyo. The cabin crew were very attentive and friendly. I had the pork katsudon, which was very tender and flavorful.

We did booked shorter layovers but flights changed and layovers are too long good thing Philippine Airlines give us a hotel in manila but here Vancouver to Calgary too long layovers and there is enough sets to wait closer to air canada and they will open 4am.we were here 1 am .our flights schedule for air canada 8:10am.we paid expensive flights but not happy of lay over Vancouver to Calgary.
Good one is its safety. Taking off and landing are good. The bad parts are the managements at airport, especially in Manila. It's horrible.
Need to upgrade the lavatory it was very filthy and disgusting. Very poor hygiene.
When on flight the crew was great. The checkin was also great. What Philippine Airlines need to improve is the boarding process and being on time it is bad when the times I have flown with them they are always late which costs me more do to additional parking fees missed connections.
Plane was late. Too many announcements during the flight. Made me pay that deposit. Uncomfortable seats.
My only issue was the cost of the flight. I paid close to $900, and I’ve never experienced that before. Plus I had to pay for wifi on the flight. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
This was the best Air Canada experience i've ever had! We didn't realize we could switch to an earlier flight and I asked the attendant as they were boarding the 8pm flight. She kindly let me know to make such requests prior to boarding in the future, but she was very understanding that we just came through security with young kids and was able to make the changes for us. When we got on the plane, the lady in the back was super friendly, welcoming, and kind. She was great with our kids and with the other passengers and we just enjoyed her presence so much!.
Received an email a few hours before boarding that wifi and seatback entertainment would not be available. There was no explanation for this. We were served 1 x 20 gram granola bar as a snack (not even a full granola bar) which was really embarrassing. The crew was lovely (none of this was their fault) and the flight was successful, but the aircraft itself was falling apart on the inside. Overhead comfort control panels were worn and some were hanging out and non functional, This aircraft needs to be upgraded.
It was very cold in the beginning; then I asked stewardess to do something about that, and she did something, so for the rest of the flight the temperature was closer to normal. It is typical: by some reason the pilots or whoever is in charge make the cod in the cabin unbearable. The seat is better than on WestJet or Flair, but is is very tight. No leg room.
Terrible, luggage’s with b/p and diabetes meds including insulin and ozempic. I’ve in them had dissolved and rendered useless

Awful. As we were boarding we were told the flight was cancelled. Then had to stand in a queue for 3 hours to talk to someone at the kiosk of Air Canada. They were not helpful at all. No empathy. My issue is not with them striking but the total disregard for the chaos and distress late notice caused. No thought on the impact this has caused.
This flight was canceled at the last moment and I was stranded in the Vancouver International. I spent the night there without compensation and the staff looked annoyed and wanted to get rid of the passengers without offering much help.
