Cons: "There is a toilet for the main cabin right behind row 5. The door was constantly banging due to a long flight from Orlando to SFO 5hrs 23 mins. Very old uncomfortable first class seats with very little reclining due to the toilet being so close. Not good!!! No real entertainment unless you brought it with you. If this is the standard of United first class now think I will give it a miss in the future."

Pros: "Captain and crew were brilliant, kept passengers informed throughout as to the delays, as a result all passengers were patient and understanding. Not much more could have been done to improve the experience as the snow and conditions at Dublin airport were out of their hands."

Cons: "A United supervisor at the Leon terminal informed me that my 'smart' luggage was not allowed. I have traveled with it all over the world for the past 2 years, including to Leon in a United flight 2 days prior. I have also disabled the battery with a clearly marked OFF switch inside and never actually use it. However the memo I was shown was unambiguous and logic was not an option. So I asked for a screwdriver to remove the battery, The supervisor said no and proceed to treat me as a criminal. After one of the staff lent me tools and I removed the battery the supervisor asked for my name but off we went to board our flight. Before boarding however, my wife and I were called in for a 'random' security inspection. The experience was very unpleasant. It was discrimination and retaliation by someone abusing their authority. Very dissapointed on the United staff and their customer service."
Pros: "Flight attendants were very pleasant and helpful. Food selections were very good. Lavatories were well maintained throughout the 14-hour flight, which is very much appreciated."
Cons: "Movie selections could be a little more current, but the options presented were fine."
Pros: "The landing was one of the smoothest I have ever experienced on the Belize runway. And that is saying alot, as the runway is very rough!"

Cons: "They didn't know where our luggage was. First we were told carousel #1 and then #6 and we had to keep going back and forth to try to find it. Finally they announced that they would bring the remaining pieces from carousel #1 to carousel #6. It should have been handled better. Also the flight was delayed several times."

Pros: "The crew was the best part of the entire awful experience. The pilots let people tour the cockpit and the stewards were very accommodating considering their rules and restrictions. With so many delays, we were able to disembark the plane and come and go as we needed till we were able to finally board for takeoff."
Cons: "We all received updates every thirty minutes with a new departure time and each time we were supposed to depart, there was another delay. The first delay was caused by a seat cushion floating device not being on the plane (hour delay right there) and then for the next three and a half hours, we all were constantly being delayed due to rain. The rain was not their fault but had that cushion been properly stocked on the plane, we would have missed the storm and been on our way. A two-hour flight became an eight-hour hell. Not to mention, the plane itself smelled like a seedy bar bathroom, I had to tuck my legs underneath myself because there was absolutely no legroom, and my row mate was a belligerent drunk. Getting home at 5 am Monday morning and going straight to work was not ideal. Would have been nice to be home on the same day that my flight was scheduled."
Cons: "Our flight from Charlotte to Chicago was horrible!!! It felt as if a trainee was flying our plane. Landing was so bad that I threw my feet onto the back of the seat in front of me to brace myself for landing."

Cons: "After aircraft was parked a strange loud noise could have been heard for 30 seconds. Would be nice if a crew member (flight attendant or captain) assured passengers that it was normal. Noise didn't seem normal and I was very concerned. No infotainment options."

Cons: "There is very little to like about united. Instead of taking the opportunity to offer some free comps to the passengers on either flight for the delays they just brushed it off as business as usual. Poor choice when a little hospitality goes a long way."
Cons: "We brought wine since we are going on a cruise and had it wrapped safely. Long story short they didn't like that it wasn't used with bubble wrap and charged us 30.00 to wrap the bottles. Nowhere in their site does it say how it needs to be transported."

The schedule between planes is way to tight!! I am very unhappy and too old to be running to catch my connecting flight. I will never make reservations that the airline or kayak do not consider time needed to change terminals etched"

Cons: "Kayak did not confirm my seat. Was not able to get a flight. Called customer service and they told me to rebook. My card was charged twice. The airplane had faulted hardware. Waited in line for 2 hours to get a different flight. All flights to Phoenix were full. Didn't make the standby list. Couldn't make the rebook flight. Worst day ever Now, No one can give me a refund. mind you I took a day off from work this was a last minute. The reason this trip was so important to me is because my grandma is in the ICU. I hardly ever complain about any customer service experience. Overall to get a hold of customer service is awful."
Pros: "More luggage storage (overhead and under the seats) on this international flight than on domestic. Most everything else was as expected."
Cons: "The toilets smelled and were messy a few hours into it. (I was on a Korean Airlines flight recently and their toilets were always clean and nice!). The crew were mostly efficient and worked well together BUT only one (out of the 4 or 5 in our section) smiled at passengers and looked like she was actually enjoying her job. One blanket wasn't cleaned well enough."

I really need that extra time to get situated, get my son out of the stroller and not be stuck trying to squeeze down the small aisles with him and waiting for others to get seated. The seats were tiny and I had to wait about 20mins after we unloaded for my stroller. Traveling with a small child is hard as it is but the circumstances made it even harder"

I love the pet friendliness as well as every employee through United I met today from the bdl check in crew , to especially the flight crew on flight558 iAd to phx who I believe was from Houston and their Texas roots truly shined. Every crew member was Sooo attentive professional Cleanly pleasant and always smiling and happy to come around. Other crews could learn from this crew please take notice !!! I have never been so impressed (and I am a frequent flyer )"
