C$ 309 Find cheap flights from St. John's to Newark Liberty Airport

First time with Porter and I can say this is best airline company in Canada. Great service, free WiFi, free snack and drinks (including beer and wine). Seats were super comfy on the Embraer jet and I appreciated the folding try table too. Staff were excellent both legs of the trip.

Tight transfer in Montreal. (15 min) However, we made it, as did my luggage.

Check in was slow because of passenger ahead in Reserve line. Seats were somewhat uncomfortable.

First time with Porter. Amazing experience overall, will be my airline of choice in North America whenever possible. Liked the quality of food and how it was served but one suggestion- a hot meal on the longer flights, perhaps?

Delayed by 2.5 hours. This happened previously on my flight from YOW to YVR on Dec. 26.2023. This is a terrible airline. The reason was there was lack of ground crew. This is a known event. AVOID PORTER AIRLINES IF YOU CAN. There is a reason half the plane was empty.

The airline arrival at the downtown airport is a big plus.. Food and beverage was excellent. Their non weather related cancellation is horrible. Overall I gave the airline 7 over 10 Tips for people flying porter from Boston. The airline doesn’t have inflight entertainment No TV No WIFI. Bring your entertainment with you.

Wasn’t on the flight- again. Bad weather in Halifax and I was in an accident. What a poor experience to have to pay for all this flight and not be on it

I didn’t make my flight due to poor weather and I had an accident driving there. I tried to get my money back or even credit and nothing. I have an entire flight both to Florida and back that I paid for and no one will give me any money back. I know this isn’t just Porter and it’s 3rd party- however airlines should allow these companies to take money for things they don’t get. I’m so upset. Who can afford a full flight they never take?

Flight Ottawa to Toronto canceled and no crew was available to direct me on what to do. I opened a file and I wait to be compensated.

The staff were so kind and helpful. We flew back from NY with another airline and it was horrible. We will always stick with Air Canada as everything was far better!

A 2 hour delay because they couldn’t fit some oversized cargo in the small hold doors of an Embraer! Surely they know the sizes before attempting to load it?

The wifi I paid for did not work. The seats are tight.

There were no free snacks…little pretzel bag or cookies like we had on our flight out.

I supposed to have a wheel chair waiting to take me to the luggage carousel. Didn’t happen so I had to walk up the walkway with my cane. I lost my balance and broke my little toe on my right foot, which means that I’m hobbling around with a very painful left leg and a very painful toe on my right foot. It was a nightmare.

It was good except it was quite delayed arriving to Newark.

The seats are comfortable. Flight was comfortable and on time. Love the format of the map (so different from United.

The only complaint, and it was a HUGE HASSLE, was the carrier of the flight from Newark to Toronto on flight AC 3711. On my itinerary it stated that the flight was 'Operated by REPUBLIC AIRLINES/UNITED EXPRESS'. Translation: it was a United Airlines flight. Different terminal, which meant frustration with inability to check in at Terminal A, needing to catch a shuttle to Terminal C. I told my friend who was picking me up that I was flying United Airlines. She waited for me at the United Airlines terminal in Toronto, except I arrived at the Air Canada terminal. Very confusing and difficult for all of us. Better communication is needed when other airlines operate Air Canada flights.

It was a very pleasant trip from A to Z.

Every leg of my trip with Air Canada was delayed Never offered as much as a small bag of pretzels on. 3 hour trip Printing boarding passes at the airport when told to bring printed boarding passes with you Unable to load passes into my apple wallet- so very easy with other airlines
