Pros: "Nostalgic plane ride"
Cons: "Use more modern plane for these short trips. No drinks offered due to turbulence. Old Bombardier plane had no way of storing carry-ons other than beneath seat, thus limiting leg space"

Pros: "Nostalgic plane ride"
Cons: "Use more modern plane for these short trips. No drinks offered due to turbulence. Old Bombardier plane had no way of storing carry-ons other than beneath seat, thus limiting leg space"
Pros: "Crew, seats and entertainment. Unfortunately a rude passenger in front that put their seat back too far and refused to compromise so didn’t have much leg room over a 6 hour flight."
Cons: "Ran out of half the food options halfway down the plane."
Pros: "We finally got to our destination"
Cons: "Weather delayed the flight by around 4 hours. Crew at the airport were clearly stressed and took it out on stressed passengers. You had to ask for everything rather than the crew proactively doing things to make people comfortable (regular updates, food vouchers, going around making sure people are comfortable). Captain on plane was good. Crew on plane was ok, more socializaing with each other rather than being proactively helpful."
Pros: "I was just a little bit shocked because there were nothing to eat included.. I didn’t know that that kind of flight didn’t include anything.. But despite of that it was ok.."
Pros: "Having the few inches of extra leg room in economy plus is very nice, and we got one alcoholic drink included in the extra fare paid. The crew was courteous and friendly. I did not use the entertainment system."
Cons: "Even though we were traveling with our small dog in cabin there's no pre-boarding to make settling in easier as there is with the competition. I could not check in on-line like I can on WestJet because of my "special service" request (small dog in cabin for the usual $50 charge) Also for the extra money paid for the"upgraded economy plus ticket" there's not a sandwich or even a snack included as there is on the competition."
Cons: "Very crowded in the seat...."
Pros: "Crew was helpful in answering questions"
Cons: "The only food served was a pay option only."
Cons: "They loose my luggage!!!!!!"
Cons: "One of the washrooms was a disgrace! There was vomit or diarrhea or both on the floor and on the top to the toilet seat. No one bothered to clean it up. Also, my wife identified herself to Lufthansa that she has celiac's disease, yet when the food cart came by, she was informed that all she could purchase that was gluten free was nuts. We found out later that there was a fruit and cheese plate available. Also, it seems that there were few items available from the on board menu. Why bother even having a menu if many of the items were not available? Air Canada should be ashamed!"
Pros: "The tvs were nice."
Cons: "The people in front of us reclined their seats and there was no leg room. The flight was severely delayed by an hour and a half making us miss our connection."
Pros: "Friendly attendants, excellent foods"
Cons: "Ran out of food.."
Pros: "Many airlines have code share flights but it is better to buy ticket directly from the original airline as they keep on ignoring the code share flight bookings"
Cons: "Till last moment we were kept hanging if we will board or not as no seat number was allocated. I believe it was as we were from the code share airline not the real one"
Cons: "It was terribly hot. The flight was late by 4 hours. Extremely poor service"
Pros: "Well designed comfortable sleeping Pods"
Pros: "It was a fine international flight. Service from flight attendants was good and amply offered throughout flight."
Pros: "Nothing. NOTHING."
Cons: "It took two hours to check my bag at the airport. The plane engine needed to be jump started, and I missed my connection flight to Paris. I had to spend an entire day stuck in Toronto, sick from terrible Hotel and airport food, cheap vouchers for terrible food, I missed my traveling companion who made the flight to Paris. I left my hat on the plane after the terrible flight in which they refused us any basic courtesies for the numerous passengers who were about to be stranded, and then the grooming crew kept my hat instead of turning it in to lost and found. Best part? Customer service told me that since I booked via Kayak, that I was not a valued customer and that they would not extend any courtesies to me for destroying my work trip itinerary."
Pros: "Entertainment system. Flight crew."
Cons: "The flight was delayed which is fine. I attempted to go to the desk for a food voucher but they didn't have enough workers and were focused on getting people with connections onto another flight and told me to wait. When we reboarded, we were offered vouchers for the airport we were leaving that would expire the next day, which is essentially useless."
Pros: "A great flight!"
Pros: "The seats were spacious and the electric/USB outlets made all the difference! By the end of the flight, my phone was charged and I was ready to see Montreal!"
Cons: "Paying for seats."
Cons: "I did not fly to Montreal and I did not catch flight to Barcelona I am fling again tonight Toronto - Barcelona direct"
Pros: "Crew noticed I was thirsty and gave me the can without asking"
Cons: "Crew said I wish they would hurry up and get off and I whipped my head around and she apologized. She meant no harm but that's not good service."
Pros: "Nothing special."
Cons: "Not apply."
Pros: "The snack selection is excellent"
Cons: "No complaints"
Pros: "We didnt crash"
Cons: "We didn't crash"
Cons: "I had a window seat which had the new dimming glass rather than the pull-down shade. I kept the window at the darkest setting, and, even so, the window was so hot you could not hold your hand on it for more than a few seconds without it burning. The heat radiated so far out from the window that I needed to keep the air vent open totolerate it. Usually, when one sits in a window seat, they have the luxury of leaning against it with their pillow as they rest. The heat made this very uncomfortable, and for me, impossible. In fact, at a certain point, a stewardess came to the row ahead of me and excused herself with those passengers saying that she wanted to check the window of that row as the person sitting there was wondering is there was a malfunction in the window because it was burning hot. I spoke up and told the stewardess that the window was unbearably hot and to try to hold her hand on it. She responded, "Wow! That really IS the hot!" She said she'd check up front. She came back saying the pilot said it was because we are on the side of the plane facing the sun. We were on that side for 8 hours!! I find it hard to believe these windows weren't researched more thoroughly under all conditions, including the continual beating of the particular seasonal angle of the sun for long overseas flights! Please take this response seriously, as it truly was incredibly uncomfortable."
Pros: "Good flight everything was pleasant but..."
Cons: "My bag did not arrive for close to 2 hours after we landed. About 15 bags were released on the carousel at an appropriate time and over an hour later the rest of the plane's bags arrived. The staff were not overly concerned. They announced a number of times that the bags were coming, it was almost comical. I have dealt with this before at Pearson I don't understand why it takes large amounts of time to unload bags from the plane? Or why a few bags arrived and the others took 2 hours? I am not sure if Air Canada has any control over this or if it is Pearson's responsibility but I would appreciate if you could forward this complaint to the appropriate folks. Thanks."
Cons: "I am filing a complaint with regard to my recent flight on Dec 31, 2016 from Barcelona (BCN) back to San Francisco, US (SFO) on Air Canada, with a connection in Toronto, Canada (Flight # AC1915 and AC739). My wife and I were denied boarding at Barcelona because we did not have an ETA to visit Canada. However, we actually qualify for the Transit Without Visa Program, allowing us to transit through Canada to the US without an ETA. Please see below. My wife and I arrived at BCN airport in Barcelona before 11 am, more than 3 hours prior to the departure time of 2 pm for flight AC1915 to Toronto. Please see the attached bus ticket as proof, indicating we boarded the bus at 10:30 am at Barcelona city center. This is more than enough time for check-in processes. I knew about the ETA requirement prior to travel. However, I also knew that, as a Taiwanese national, we qualify for the Transit Without Visa program, allowing us to transit through Canada to the US without an ETA. The Canadian Government website states that: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas-all.asp#eta-exemptions “The following persons are exempt from the eTA requirement: • Foreign nationals seeking to transit through Canada under Transit Without Visa or China Transit Program.” Furthermore, also on the Canadian Government website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1092&top=16 “Travellers whose planes refuel in Canada going to and from the United States, as well as participants in the China Transit Program and Transit Without Visa Program, do not need to have an eTA or a visa to transit Canada.” We qualify for the Transit Without Visa Program because according to the Canadian Government website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/twov/travellers.asp • We are citizens of Taiwan • We hold valid Taiwanese passports (please see attached passport photo) • We hold valid US visas (please see attached green card photo) • We are traveling to Canada on an approved airline: Air Canada Rouge • We transit through an approved Canadian airport (Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, terminal 1, without a change of terminal between flights) • We hold a confirmed onward ticket to the US the same day (AC739 to San Francisco, departing at 6:55 pm the same day) • We arrive during operating hours for the US in-transit pre-clearance facility. During check-in, we were told that we needed an ETA and denied us boarding. I tried explaining to the supervisor on duty that day that an ETA is actually not required for us since we qualify for Transit Without Visa, using the arguments I presented above in this letter, as well as showing him the websites from the Canadian Government. However, the supervisor insisted that we needed an ETA, citing the general policy that Taiwanese citizens require ETA to visit Canada. What he did not realize was that we satisfy a very unique case that did NOT require an ETA."
Cons: "The tv in business class weren't really working... stopping the movies by it self and I had to always restart them until I gave up on watching a movie!"
Pros: "the seat beside me was open"
Cons: "they made us rush through customs while yellig at us nd being very condescending then we waited an hour to board because the airport door wouldn't open for the crew"
Pros: "Air Canada is so willing to make changes at the last minute when I was at the airport. They put me on an earlier fight because I was there in very good time. Generally just a really lovely experience."
Pros: "Everything was amazing! On time and nice flight!"
Cons: "I lost my book, if someone can contact me of where to retrieve it, that would be great! Thanks"
Pros: "Nothing, from your rude gate agents and closing the gates far too early when passengers are waiting in excessively long lines at customers to in flights systems being broken, your service is abhorrent."
Cons: "Your gate agents refusing to keep the gates open to the appropriate boarding times, you over priced food, being improsojed in our seats and no access to the toilets due to a 2 hour in flight food and beverage service. not receiving water until after 2 hours II the flight! And no second beverage offered on a 5 hour flight!"
Pros: "The pod were set up well. The crew service was very responsive. All-in-all pretty good."
Cons: "Getting baggage to and thru US Customs cut it real close to connection to LaGuardia."
Cons: "Flight delay"
Pros: "That there were no delays."
Pros: "Flight was on time"
Cons: "Nothing."
Cons: "It was cancelled."
Pros: "Lots of entertainment options Not totally booked so everyone had a little space to relax on such a long flight Food was nice"
Pros: "Flight attendant's were friendly amid the circumstances."
Cons: "Our first flight was cancelled 15 minutes before scheduled take-off. upon being bumped to another flight two hours later, that flight was delayed two hours after an issue during take-off. We remained on the plane while mechanic/engineering staff rectified the problem. We booked a flight to save time on driving. We would have arrived earlier had we drove. I understand things happen, but the airline eneds to take responsibility and show some good customer service. Aside from the pilot, no apology given, no reimbursement offered. Disappinting. Air Canada is now a last-resort option for a frequent flyer like myself."
Pros: "My seat on my first leg coming back to New Tork from Tokyo to Toronto."
Cons: "I booked my flight 8 months in advance and pre ordered a vegetarian meal a week before leaving for my trip. They "forgot" one of my meals (breakfast meal) on my return flight home. Hey also gave me a tuna sandwich for my snack, which means they also didn not have a vegetarian sandwich for me in between my dinner and breakfast meals. It was the first time every traveling overseas that they've made an error with my meal plan after flying on multiple airlines. My connection was a nightmare as I had to wait to go through security and customs which took over an hour and then my second flight was delayed. I will never fly through Canada again from the U.S. To another destination country."
Cons: "Good"
Pros: "The food was excellent and the seats were very comfortable. I also loved the blanket and slippers. Service was top notch!"
Cons: "Nothing. It was an excellent experience."
Pros: "Billy Bishop airport is awesome!"
Cons: "Flight was delayed and crew didn't accommodate a rebooking despite availability .. Although original flight did board soon after."
Pros: "It kept to schedule and didn't crash."
Cons: "Air Canada Rouge is a no-frills bare-bones subsidiary of Air Canada. BEWARE! Don't expect Air Canada levels of comfort or service."
Cons: "We arrived from Rome at 3:30 - we wouldn't have made our 5:25 flight to Boston if I hadn't contacted an agent 2 times stating we were STILL in the security line"
Pros: "Quick non stop flight from Vancouver to Calgary. Has to change my flight last minute and wasn't charged for doing that. That on its own was a relief and great surprise."
Cons: "The plan was hot - no AC it was hard to sit through. The snacks on Air Canada flights get worse and worse every year. Pay more get less."
Pros: "Food good crew great."
Cons: "Cramped seats and full plane."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "first flight cancelled, second flight delayed so impossible to get the connection. Nobody called me about it, I had to go to ask."
Pros: "Love Air Canada"
