Cons: Where should I begin? Incoming flight was late, so UA 1560 was delayed. After boarding, IFE was not working. Crew could not get it to work. Snack options were NON-existent for a 5-hour flight. Pros: The crew was great.

Cons: On our way to Japan, the flight didn't wait for us though we were on the ground. We had 4 h lay over and missed it by 20 min which was by their system confusion. We missed our christmas plan and business prep time in Japan. Then on our way back, the plane turned around to the gate to pick up customers causing 40min delay. Made us furious. They gave us $200 credit each for our missing flight but we think we deserve more.

Pros: We didn't crash so that's a bonus.

Cons: Well first off it was a connector flight from Toronto to Reykjavik to Oslo to Tromso, Norway. The first leg was delayed and then they lost my baggage, which happens, I get it. But then due to the delayed flight and lost baggage I missed my connection to Tromso. Then apparently neither airline can do anything to help me so I lose my entire flight cost because I booked through a third party. So I had to rebook a new flight at a premium cost just to get where I needed to go or risk losing my whole vacation. On top of that the baggage they lost is my backpack...hard to go backpacking across Norway with no backpack. Then they ship the backpack to the wrong airport, incorrectly wrote down my wrong cell number so they couldn't even call me...one cluster f*ck after another.

Seats were very narrow, and did NOT reline. The seatback entertainment and usb power did NOT work in our section.

Cons: Better boarding procedure in KEF. Our plane felt like a third-world aircraft with non-working equipment, VERY tight non-reclining seats. A cracker would have been nice on a 6 hour flight.

Cons: When I booked this flight last March the booking info said 1 free bag. When we got to the airport we were told that we had to pay $94 Can per bag because we had Economy Light class. We had the same issue returning but the cost was $55 US. On top of that Iceland Air changed planes and bumped us from row 10 to 41 - the last row. Bizarrely there is no customer service desk at the Reykjavik Airport - they just give you a little card with the website for customer service. I don't understand how any airline does this! BTW, they blame the third party for the issues! That is you!!!

Cons: I don’t really know what happened but it was over an hour for us to get our bags afterward at SFO which caused us to miss our connecting flight to LAX, so we had to wait until next day to fly. This was also the busiest travel day of the year and storms everywhere so likely out of their control. Not the hugest deal but was harder to get on connecting flight since Icelandair doesn’t have a ticket counter at SFO. Would never prevent me from flying with them again, I always have issues at SFO so avoid that airport altogether anyways- will try to go around going through there on our next iceland trip!

Pros: I really enjoyed flying with Iceland Air. One bag included for check in with ticket - which can be hard to come by these days. As well, the plane was brand new, leather seats and entertainment system. There was water and a blanket waiting for you at your seat once you boarded. They were very efficient and the crew made the trip a pleasant journey. Would highly recommend!

Pros: The onboard entertainment was excellent. We are both tall and we offered longer legroom seats at checking! Only good for purchase on board so we are before boarding. We purchased a light snack on the second leg of the trip. It hit the spot. Blankets and pillows were provided.

Cons: It was all good!

Pros: The crew was friendly, the planes clean, flights on time. The blankets were a very nice touch.

Cons: On my first flight, I paid for use of wifi, but it kept kicking me off the connection. Repeatedly, the entire time. On the second flight, there was no option for wifi at all. It would have been nice to pay for wifi once for use all the way to my destination.

Pros: Lufthansa is an airline that prides itself on timeliness and service. The boarding procedure was very good, food was very good and service was excellent. I have flown with Lufthansa before and they always prove to me that I’ve made the right choice booking with them!

Cons: The weather, we hit some turbulence which is beyond the Captains control. Seatbelt sign came right on and even with that we still landed about 20 minutes early in Frankfurt

Okay 5.3

Pros: Full bottle of water and continuous refreshments in flight.

Cons: Connections booked together need more time for larger airports. I had over an hour connection on paper and had to run through the entire airport to even catch my flight. My mother on a separate flight arrived ten minutes before her flight took off even though booking stated a full hour. Also the quality and cleanliness of the plane needs improvement. Lufthansa is normally amazing quality but both flights today were subpar. Bathroom smelled of urine, old and dirty seats with no support. Dirty hand rests and outdated screens which skipped with movies

Pros: New spacious plane, great crew, comfortable seats, good wine and partiffs. Anything thing is better than flying over priced crappy American Airlines and will avoid giving them a cent anytime I can. Lufthansa did a great job.

Cons: I kid screamed all-the-way across pond all night. Maybe next force the parents to calm child down. Tough situation and had to really address that issue.

Pros: We got to Chicago at least 45 minutes before the expected landing time. The dinner was pretty good and the crew came around many times offering drinks. The ground crew did a good job of evaluating luggage and tagging people’s bags before the overhead bins got too full so it didn’t delay our flight.

Cons: The snack sandwich was freezing cold...

Okay 4.3

Pros: The price was good, the crew was friendly, and the on-line check in process was smooth.

Cons: Non-functional entertainment consoles..so we could not watch anything, use our reading lights, adjust the temp, or summon staff if we needed to. With a bar in the middle of my foot space, there was no space under my seat for my personal item; No food on an international flight also disappointing.

Pros: Long flight, the pillows and heavier blankets were a nice welcome. Pretty empty flight on the way to Iceland so everyone was allowed to stretch out.

Okay 4.0

Pros: The crew was excellent- courteous and helpful. The outgoing flight was good, but the return flight was quite a disaster. Boarding was disorganized and had to stand for a very long time.

Pros: Everything was on time, crew was professional, flight was really pleasant

Cons: Boarding was really uncomfortable - line starts at one floor and then you have to slowly climb the stairs one step at a time while holding your carry on bag. Line move slowly because of required security questioning at the gate. It’s an absolutely normal procedure and staff was really nice, but stairs - that’s what make your experience unpleasant.

Mediocre 2.0

Mediocre 3.2

Cons: My flight was delayed, I missed my connection flight and now they lost my luggage. Staff are very friendly, but they can't do much to help me. Icelandair is doing OK in handling the situation, but let's see...I am still in an uncertain situation

YYZ
KEF
Okay 4.5

Cons: In general, not good enough for an overnight flight. Our flight was late, we missed our connections which is the primary reason I am complaining

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in CAD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
