Cons: New leaf discontinued their Sunday Halifax to Hamilton flight which was to be my return flight home. They did offer me a full refund if I needed to cancel or to rebook on a different flight but I couldn't make the new dates work so I took the full refund. I booked the flights in December for a flight in Feb and they cancelled half way through January so there wasn't a lot of notice given

Excellent 8.5

Pros: Comfortable seat with plenty of hip & leg room.

Cons: Charged $35. for luggage because I didn't know I could go online with the Flair Air website & pay prior to check in. They were friendly and advised me to do this in the future.

YEG

Mediocre 3.3

Pros: The plane didn't crash like website and they did not charge $10 for printing off my boarding pass, as no one could with website down. Also, some budget airlines now only allow 40lbs in checked baggage, Looks like they allow 50lbs.

Cons: Similar problem on the way home, could not book luggage online but could check in. Shop closes at 5 CST so could not call. Even though we told at checkout that it was because of the Christmas volume online, still had to pay Airport (extra) price to check-in baggage. They said I could perhaps get the penalty fee returned if I called in. Told her it's not worth 2 hours on a paid long distance call to get $20 back.

Excellent 8.0

Pros: Great crew, fast boarding, nearly empty plane so I had the whole three seat row to myself.

Cons: The hydraulic pump for the inboard flaps sounded like it was on it's last legs and howled whenever adjustments were made. The cabin pressurization system whistled so loud that I had to put ear buds in to protect my hearing (just on takeoff/landing). Proper maintenance is important!

Pros: Crew were great.

Cons: I was told by transat to down load an App. to watch entertainment only to be told by Flair Air that they did not provide the service and that I was given the wrong information. So no TV for 5 hrs.

Pros: The crew was kind when they gave me an extra bag of pretzels to calm my rolling stomach on a flight that while over 4 hours long does qualify for even a decent sized bag of pretzels.

Cons: I think the seats on westjet are ridiculous, are they smaller than other planes. I was practically in the lap of the person next to me. I'm 5'7 and I couldn't even rest my head on my knees to stop the extreme motion sickness. I couldn't even finish my flight today because I couldn't stand the nausea and I couldn't rest in a seat 2 sizes too small for a regular sized person. I had to lay down and when it didn't subside I had to find accommodation. I will never fly with westjet again. But thanks you know for the pretzels.

Good 7.3

Pros: Our flight moved up one hour from our original booking, which wasn't ideal, though we were rerouted, transferring in Calgary rather than Vancouver. This should have saved us time, so we didn't mind.

Cons: But then we sat on the tarmac in Toronto for an hour and a half, which cause us to miss our connecting flight in Calgary. In the end, we got home later than planned. The flight was fine, but the changes and delays were frustrating.

Pros: The importance they put on my 19 month old daughter. They looked out for us and her.

Cons: Our flight got delaayed, then cancelled. Thus our trip overall had to be cancelled and we had to make other plans.

Mediocre 3.0

Okay 4.6

Pros: I managed to get on an earlier flight with a standby ticket.

Cons: First, my original flight got delayed to an arrival time that would’ve made me miss the last shuttle to my final destination. My options were either to stay overnight in Vancouver or hire a taxi. Both options would’ve cost me at least $300. Thankfully I had a longer layover in Toronto that gave me some buffer. Otherwise, it would’ve been an additional expense.

Pros: The crew on The flight was efficient and friendly.

Cons: The flight was so crammed. I understand there's the possibility of flying on a fully booked flight but if it took an hour to load the passengers how quickly can you realistically get 400 passengers out? Plus it prevents everyone from having an overhead cubby. You need to reconfigure the flying experiwnce.

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in CAD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
